About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old! I currently have a 12 year old Labrador and a 16 year old French Poodle. I’ve dog sat for many families, including overnight stays, drop ins, and daytime care. I absolutely love dogs and am always the person who stops to say hi to every dog I see! I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m currently a full-time college student at ASU! I have classes from 11am–6pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and from 4:30-5:15pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I occasionally work a serving job on the weekends, but I’m happy to adjust my schedule if it interferes with a dog-sitting job. Other than that, I’m home often and would be able to give your dog plenty of attention, take them on walks, or simply keep them company! I truly love all dogs and treat every pet as if they were my own. I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re with me. Whether they want to play, go for a walk, cuddle up next to me while I do homework, or simply relax and keep me company, I’m happy to be there for them and give them the attention they need.

While having an animal for me, every single day isn’t realistic unfortunately ,I find that the ability to do this periodically throughout the year and to be around animals is very rewarding . This also gives me the ability to focus entirely on your animal and the comfort they need when family is away. I did security for nine years and have a level one fingerprint clearance card. I will treat your home with respect and when watching animals and my own home, I do not watch multiple animals from different households to ensure that no issues were to ever arise in a negative altercation. I do have a preference of housesitting at clients homes due to just the comfortability of the animals environment not changing. They tend to already have a little bit of anxiety with the owner, leaving and changing their environment can sometimes for some animals heighten that anxiety.

Part of being satisfied is not expecting perfection, so we never do. If you keep the house from burning down and our dog is safe that is our basis for satisfaction. We have had sitters arrive late, leave early, bend the truth, and even take supplies from our house, so when you find someone whose nature is to genuinely care, to be sincere, and to deliver a service that is better because her standard is just better, it sure makes you grateful. Someone taught her long ago that communication is important, that pet owners want to be in the know, so they don’t have to worry. Julia is simply the best provider we have experienced on Rover. She just gets it, and that means so much to us. From arriving when she says she will each and every time, to letting us know how our dog was doing, to caring for our house and belongings as if they were her own. She even took the time to make sure our return was on time and to make herself available of if we were to be delayed. For selfish reasons, i dont want anyone to book her, but she deserves to be the busiest Rover pet sitter ever and im sure she will be. Thank you Julia!”
