What sets me apart from other sitters is a lifelong love for dogs and hands-on experience from a very young age. Growing up, my family always had three dogs at a time, and we considered them true members of the family. I was actively involved in training, feeding, and caring for them throughout my childhood and teenage years. While I don’t currently have dogs of my own due to my roommate’s allergies, I still jump at every chance to care for friends' and relatives’ dogs, especially when they’re away for weekends or on vacation. I understand the deep bond people have with their pets, and I treat every dog I care for with the same love, attention, and respect I’d give my own.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their space and follow any instructions or routines provided. I treat both the home and pet with care, ensuring a calm, comfortable, and safe environment. I make sure to keep things tidy and adhere closely to feeding, walking, and playtime schedules as outlined by the owner.

Alison did a wonderful job taking care of our four cats! She made sure they had food and water and clean litter boxes. She even brought in our packages and cleaned up cat throw up. We will definitely book her next time we’re out of town!
Alison was wonderful with our senior dogs- Rue and Lily! From our initial meeting, she was so friendly and easy to be around, which made me feel really comfortable leaving them in her care. She kept me updated with messages and sent plenty of pictures, which I really appreciated. It was clear they were well cared for and happy. I would absolutely use Alison again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind pet sitter!
The girls loved Alison right away and seemed to know she’s a sweet person! They were automatically comfortable upon meeting her with the meet and greet. I knew she would care for them well and she definitely did! She will be our go-to person to care for the girls now and I’m so glad we found her!
Alison put me at ease using Rover for the first time with my two reactive, relatively needy dogs. She is reliable, thorough and communicative. My dog has Addison’s and had tummy issues start a few days before my trip. Alison was fantastic at retaining my over the top 6 page sitter guide that I typed up for my dogs. She always let me know that my dog took his meds, which I deeply appreciated as a chronically concerned dog mom. She was thorough and attentive so much that she noticed when my dog had spit out half of his pill. She sent photos each day and my dogs seemed so at ease with her. She has such an amazing energy. She is sweet and not afraid to be the leader when my dogs need it. Highly, highly recommend. She was kind enough to dog sit on Christmas. I can’t thank her enough. We finally found someone we trust our dogs with.
