Hi! My name is Izzy, and animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both cats and dogs and have spent most of my life caring for them, fostering them, and learning what they need to feel safe, happy, and loved. I’ve worked professionally with animals at a vet clinic for about 6 months and at two different kennels for a total of about two years, where I gained hands-on experience caring for pets of all personalities and needs. During this time I learned how to properly handle feeding routines, recognize when pets need bathroom breaks or litter box changes, and administer medications when needed. I’ve also fostered both cats and dogs throughout my life, which has taught me patience, compassion, and how to help animals adjust to new environments. Currently, I have a pet of my own who I absolutely adore and care for every day. Outside of pet care, I’m a fitness instructor, so I love staying active and spending time outdoors. Long walks, playtime, and getting pets moving is something I truly enjoy. But I also appreciate the quiet side of pet care—relaxing on the couch, giving pets attention, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. Living with and caring for animals has shown me how important they are in our lives. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own.
