“Olivia was fantastic with my dogs. I’m so grateful to have met her, she definitely has a knack for connecting with animals. She was prompt and thorough with communication as well. We will absolutely book with Olivia again”

“Ynez was truly amazing and we could not have asked for a better experience. She took such great care of our home and our dog, and you can tell she genuinely cares. She kept us updated the entire time and sent so many sweet pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog looked so happy and comfortable with her, and coming home to everything in perfect shape meant so much to us. We are beyond grateful and would absolutely trust her again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!”

“Will was a fantastic sitter. He shared photos & videos of our dogs which made us feel connected while we were away and trust they were in good hands. He left the house in pristine condition. Would absolutely recommend him and work with him again when we have a need!”

“Marianne is an absolute gem. Our sweet little dog is getting older so we have a harder and harder time leaving her, but very quickly felt much more at ease with Marianne's updates. She sent pics of cuddling, spoke of kisses, and was a consistent communicator. At no time did we have to wonder if Athena was okay because we were always assured she was. Marianne left our house in great shape and also communicated about any home-related items before leaving. We are grateful to have found such a trustworthy sitter for our girl and will certainly be asking her back!”

“Samantha was absolutely wonderful with our dogs! They kept us fully in the loop throughout the whole stay, sending regular updates and photos that gave us real peace of mind. Seeing how happy and relaxed our pups looked in every picture made it so easy to enjoy our time away without worry. You can tell Samantha genuinely cares about the animals in their care. We will definitely be booking again!”

“Cedell was great! My doggies and kitty were so happy when I got home and she handled their medication and schedule perfectly! Will definitely use again in the future :)”

“Kim is a gem of a human and most certainly the person you want to hire. She was highly responsive in communication, punctual to the minute, and took loving care of my pet and my home.”

“Finn was an awesome sitter for a last minute work trip. Super communicative, attentive to the pets instructions, and took great care of them. Absolutely will contact him for future bookings.”

About: Hello! So nice to meet you. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your pet(s)! My first name is Taylor, but please call me Marie (my middle and preferred name) :-) I am competent, thorough, communicative, responsible, punctual, respectful, honest, and have integrity. You can be assured that your pet(s) will be safe with me. I give periodic written updates with photos, I follow instructions carefully, I take attentive notes about your pet from your description and my own observations, I am focused and attentive when caring for your pet(s), and I respond promptly to messages. For pet sitting in your home, I am very tidy/respectful and will leave your home as clean as when I arrived, and I stay in only the designated area(s) and only touch what I need to (please show me where you keep cleaning supplies and your pets’ food or medications, etc.). I pick up after your pet and bring my own dog waste bags, leads, collapsible water bowl, and first aid kit, just in case. I pay attention to details, like the temperature (air/ground) being safe for walks. My preference is to suggest a “Meet-and-Greet” (whenever possible. I do typically accept short-notice requests where this may not be logistically possible) because it’s important to me that you AND your pet are comfortable with me (and I you). I am loyal and love to have repeat clients, but I also enjoy taking on one-time requests, I’m happy to help. I try to keep a pet’s routine as familiar as possible for their comfort and your peace of mind. A bit about my background: I'm currently enrolled (2026) in Penn Foster's Vet Tech Associate's Degree Program. I graduated with a 4.0 from Pima Medical Institute, Phoenix, in December 2020 from the Veterinary Assistant Program. I graduated magna cum laude ("with great praise") from ASU in 2015 with a BA in Creative Writing and a second BA in French linguistics/translation/literature. I also completed one semester of the Pre-Veterinary Medicine program at ASU. I am Fear Free Level 3 Certified (........), and currently I'm renewing my certification for 2026. I am RECOVER Initiative (CPR) certified (just renewed for 2026). I've worked for various Small Animal vet clinics on and off since 2018. I have been working with animals in some capacity since 2010 (technically years earlier, since I used to volunteer at our local humane society in elementary and middle school as a kid), and I’ve had my own pets since I was ~5 years old. I worked previously for Rover from July 2017 to May 2021, and took a hiatus because I moved, but unfortunately I no longer have my original Rover profile (Was listed as "Taylor E.", first name and maiden name initial). I had a 5-star rating from 35 people who were pleased with my pet care and communication and left positive reviews (thank you so much!!!) and had several repeat clients -- Please see screenshots of my previous Rover account reviews in my photo gallery. I love working for Rover, so I’m glad to be back! I have the experience to be able to care for certain special needs, and I will communicate with you honestly (at all times) if I feel a request/booking is beyond my scope of experience because my priority is your pet's safety and wellbeing and I feel they should be matched with the best possible carer. I have worked with a variety of cats/dogs of different ages, abilities/needs/conditions, sizes, and breeds, as both a veterinary assistant and pet sitter. As an important DISCLAIMER: While I do have years of vet assistant experience and formal vet assistant education, I am not a Veterinarian and not a CVT (i.e., I am not licensed to practice veterinary medicine); I can only care for your pet in the capacity as a pet sitter / dog walker and cannot provide medical care or diagnose or prognose, etc. I will always refer you to your local Vet for that type of care and will not do anything outside of my scope of expertise for the safety of your pet (and to abide by the law). In the event of an emergency I can provide first aid/CPR and transport your pet to the vet. About our pets at home: My husband and I have two wonderful cats (1 adopted, 1 we rescued) and two wonderful dogs (adopted by us from the humane society after they were rescued from dire situations, respectively; one of which is a tripod and one is a disabled senior that wears diapers) -- I gravitate especially towards rescues and seniors that need a little extra care, and I especially love cats. Every pet is so special and deserves a safe and happy home! Thank you so much for your consideration. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! -- Marie When receiving a booking request, I will communicate in detail about my availability to ensure it meets your expectations and your pet's needs. I’m a transparent and thorough communicator, and I’ll let you know of any prior commitments that I may have during a house stay request. I also do real-time check-ins/updates, so you’ll always know how your pet is doing, what we’re up to, and when I am present and when I leave your home. My day-to-day work/school is remote and flexible, so I can choose my own hours and follow your pet’s daily routine (waking/sleeping/feeding, etc.), and give them lots of both active, attentive quality time (undivided attention playing with them, walking them, petting them, brushing them, caring for them, etc.) and hangout time (for example, sitting on the couch together). Whenever possible, I can take short-notice and same-day requests. I have evening classes most weekdays for ~2-4 hours, depending on the day, and occasional performances on weekends, but typically no other scheduling commitments from May to September annually. From September through May (9 months, Fall to Summer), I am unavailable Saturdays and some Fridays (mostly First Fridays) due to our performance schedule. For a healthy pet that can be safely left alone, I still always spend as much time with them as possible and only leave the house for meals (and/or can bring food) and/or class, an occasional errand, depending on how long the stay is. I arrive well-prepared to minimize the need to exit the home. I will discuss my availability and your pet's needs in detail before accepting a booking to be sure it is mutually a good fit. For any booking, your pet’s care and safety is my primary responsibility and I take my duty of supervision and care with the utmost seriousness (don’t worry, I’m also fun!). I also care deeply for their emotional well being, so while I have to be realistic about my own schedule and needs (my classes, the need to eat, etc.), I don’t leave them unattended or lonely for any longer than I have to. In your home or on a dog-walk, I will give your pet(s) my full attention to their safety, well-being, and happiness. I am consistent and committed to staying up to date on the latest behavioral and scientific/medical knowledge. I am thorough and I carefully follow directions and will ask for clarification if needed to ensure I am prepared for your pet's specific care. I am experienced and knowledgeable, and you can trust me in your home and with your precious pets. If they have a special need that I am not qualified for handling or have experience with, I will be honest and not overstate my skills (I want your pet to be in great hands with the best fit possible as much as you do). I am gentle, calm, and kind, and can also be silly/fun/playful/energetic, or very quiet; I try to adapt to your pet’s personality, comfort, and needs. I've worked with a range of pets, from quiet seniors and calm cats to rambunctious puppies, giant-breeds, and anxious pets. And while I love them all, I most especially gravitate towards cats, seniors, and differently-abled pets. I unfortunately cannot care for your pets in my own home (such as daycare or pet sitting in my home) because I have four of my own at home with special needs and routines. (Note that when I’m away on a house stay, they are in great hands with my husband, so while I miss them dearly when gone, my own pets are very loved and looked after.) ***I’m not accepting puppies at this time due to my varied availability/classes, or most Large/Giant breeds only because I’m healing a neck/shoulder injury; I'm not assuming about your pet that they pull on a lead, but I want to ensure I could safely carry/transport them in the event of an emergency.***
“Tamaya was great with our anxious dog! We booked her for 2 weeks overnight at our home while on vacation and she quickly eased our worries about leaving our dog for such a long time due to her separation anxiety. During the stay, she sent plenty of pictures and she kept us updated on any changes. She followed the instructions perfectly and even started watering the plants when I asked a couple days into my trip. We came back to a clean home and a happy dog☺️ We will definitely rebook her in the future!”

About: I have experience taking care of small, medium and large dogs of all different breeds! I am passionate at providing an environment for animals to live out their best life. I currently work from home and am able to stay with your animals around the clock. I have no other commitments besides working my 9am-5pm job. I tend to go for daily walks which I would love to bring along your dog. I am pretty open and free for whatever time you need a pet sitter. I am passionate at providing the same love and care for your fur babies as you do! I tend to follow directions well and want to provide the best experience for your dogs. You can ensure your pets will be well taken care of a safe in the hands of me!
“You will not be disappointed in Rachel. We booked her to house sit and watch our Chihuahua and cat for 11 days while away. Our animals absolutely loved her. She went out of her way to make them happy. She sent pictures and videos of our animals while we were away and answered any questions we had. It was nice to know we had someone that truly cares for animals watching our babies while we were gone. This was the first time we had used a pet sitter so we were nervous. We will definitely be booking her again”

“Our pup was comfortable with Leslie from the first meeting. She did a great job communicating with me throughout her stay. We will definitely be asking her to sit again in the future.”

“This was the second time having Rachel and everything was just as great this time around. She was punctual, communicative, and transparent. I’m very pleased that we have found such a great person to care for our babies while we travel.”

“Jessica was fantastic! There’s nothing more we could have hoped for. The dogs were well taken care of, the house was in great shape (even with a wild puppy she had to watch), her communication was great, I’d highly recommend Jessica. She couldn’t have been better!”

“Sherry watched our chihuahua Quinnie for 4 days. Our little pup can be standoffish to others and becomes very sad when we leave her. She refuses food and won’t interact. Sherry came in and won her over. Quinnie played and chased and ate her food every day. Sherry was efficient in walking her twice a day also and messaged us with photos and updates morning and night. This gave us peace of mind and relief that our little one was being well cared for. A big thank you to Sherry for watching and caring for Quinnie. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a very special dog sitter.”

“Stella did an AMAZING job with our 2 dogs. She communicated with us everyday and sent pictures of our fur balls. We appreciated anytime she had a question, she reached out to ensure she was caring for our home or Eli and Sherlock the way we wanted. Would highly recommend Stella, and will for sure be using her again. Thank you Stella.”

“Audrey was very kind, responsive, and great for our little last minute fiasco. The pups really seemed to enjoy their time with her and we were able to enjoy the day not worrying about the care our pups were provided!”

“Madilyn was great! We had an unexpected last minute dash to find a sitter for our two old cats and little anxious dog when our previous sitter backed out. We communicated with a number of folks to try to find someone and were not finding them to be responsible or reliable. Then Maddy saved the day. She was calm and clear and followed through on the items discussed. We knew our house and pets were in good hands and are so thankful for her help. Thanks again, Madilyn!”

South Scottsdale pet parents share their Rover experiences
Shawna was amazing! This was our first time leaving our dog with someone who wasn't a family member, so we were hesitant at first. From the initial meeting, we knew Shawna was going to be a great fit. During the stay, Shawna sent us tons of pictures and provided us with tons of updates. We were out of the country for 12 days and never felt once we had to worry about our boy. She took great care of him and our house. He loved being with her and we could tell he felt comfortable with her. We would highly recommend Shawna to anyone and will definitely be using her again for any future trips we take!! Thanks again!

Laury was the best! She took fantastic care of our home and even better care of our dog. She communicated very well, sent regular updates, and made our timid boy happy as could be while we were gone. Her passion for her work and bond with dogs was abundantly clear from the moment we met her. We are looking forward to future bookings with her!

Sonja took wonderful care of Zefí today for a full 10 hours. She sent lots of adorable photo updates throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. What I appreciated most was the balance she created — Zefí stayed engaged, active, calm, and relaxed all at the same time. When I picked her up, she was happy and content, not overstimulated or stressed. It’s clear Sonja really understands dogs and pays attention to their individual needs and energy levels. I would absolutely trust her with Zefí again and highly recommend her.

I was in a pinch and needed a dog sitter and found Sarah to watch my dogs for several nights. I wish I had found her sooner! She is responsible, answered texts immediately and gave updates. Dogs were happy! I would definitely recommend Sarah and if I wasn’t moving, I would absolutely continue to use her!

Corie was fantastic with Jasper and took great care of my home while I was away on an international work trip. She communicated wonderfully throughout the stay, even with time zone differences, and it gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing everything was being handled so well. Jasper clearly felt comfortable with her right away, and she also helped care for my tortoise and fish with no issues at all. I came home to a happy dog and a clean, well cared-for house. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and trustworthy sitter.

Olivia was absolutely wonderful with our two girls, Boo and Winnie, while we were on vacation. After some rough experiences with sitters in the past, I'm always a little anxious about leaving my fur babies but Olivia put my mind at ease from the very start. She sent constant updates throughout our trip, which made me feel completely connected to what was going on at home. This was also our first time having a sitter for our newest rescue, Winnie, so I was extra nervous about how she'd adjust. I had warned Olivia ahead of time that Boo tends to get nervous around new people and might pee a tiny bit when she first comes in the door since it's her first time. I was ecstatic (and honestly a little stunned) when Olivia let me know that Boo didn't pee at all and was actually so happy to see her walk through the door. That right there speaks volumes about who Olivia is. I always say dogs can tell good humans, and mine clearly knew immediately that they were in good hands. I would trust Olivia for any length of time, and I'd recommend her without hesitation to friends, family, or anyone looking for a sitter who genuinely cares. Thank you, Olivia!
