My schedule is extremely flexible. I typically babysit on Wednesdays from 9am-2pm. I am eager to stay as booked as possible for dog sitting and walking. In my spare time you will find me drinking tea, making healthy vegetarian meals, practicing yoga & meditating, reading, or out in nature exploring. Dogs are truly my happy place. I'm extremely careful, respectful & responsible when in clients' homes. A list of my priorities and capabilities when housesitting include: ♡ Looking after pets, taking them for walks, providing food, fresh water & medications. ♡ Cleaning up any messes and contacting owners or the vet, if necessary. ♡ House cleaning, including laundry and/or floors if needed. ♡ 🪴Plant watering, indoors & out. ♡ Maintaining a visible presence so the property is clearly occupied and secure, ie. turning lights on and off accordingly, closing curtains or blinds, locking all doors, etc. ♡ Pool maintenance such as skimming and emptying filters if necessary. ♡ Reaching the relevant people if there is a maintenance issue or emergency. ♡ Bring in mail. ♡ Take out house trash @ end of stay, as well as street trash & recycling bins if necessary. ☆ Anything else you might need, just ask!

I always enjoy a meet & greet before sitting for new clients. Here is where we can learn everything we need to know about each other. I will get to know each pets special needs & routines, the layout of the house, entrance information, areas the pets are, and are not allowed, certain behaviors to watch for, allergies, and any & all other ways I can help make your time away feel safe and accommodated.
A typical day
My mornings usually begin pretty early, around 6am. I love to stretch and go for walks, stop to give the pups love & of course try to get some fun photos along the way! I like to stay in communication throughout the day with pet-parents to keep them updated and well informed. I am usually in bed around 9pm or so. No drinking, smoking or having friends over.

Hello friends, I'm Ash! I enjoy living a clean, healthy, honest, kind, organized & punctual life. I spent the majority of my working years in restaurant management, spa management, and teaching Restorative Yoga. I operate with great attention to detail & thorough, clear communication. I've always been passionate about animals and mother nature & I have been vegetarian for most of my life. I've had cats and dogs around since I can remember, and have been asked since I was a child to pet sit for neighbors and friends. When staying at someone else's home, it is always my intention to leave the place looking and feeling even better than when I arrived. Only impeccable, loving care!

Ashley was absolutely wonderful with Abby and Vida while I was away on a work trip. My girls are both very little and sensitive, so I’m always particular about who I trust to care for them, especially when I’m away. Ashley stayed over with them and was incredibly attentive, sending me daily updates and photos that gave me such peace of mind. I arrived home to two very happy, calm little dogs, which says everything about how comfortable and well cared for they were. Ashley also took wonderful care of my home and plants, the apartment was clean and tidy, and she was incredibly respectful throughout her stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust Ashley with Abby and Vida again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring, reliable, and respectful to look after their pets and home!
Perfection! Will hire again
Ashley is an excellent dog friend. It's obvious she truly loves and cares for animals. Her compassion is her super power. She spent three nights and four days with my new puppy and kept me in the loop as Winnie is still learning about the big world around her. I would hire ashley again to hang with Winnie.
Ash watched our two active vizslas. She kept up with their level of energy by walking, swimming and playing with them. She was great at communicating and sending pictures. We returned to two happy dogs.
