Animal-loving husband and wife
Hello! My wife and I both grew up with pets and have always had a soft spot for furry friends. Since middle school I (Jon) have been trusted not only to take care of my own family’s animals but also those of neighbors and friends. Bathing, administering heart worm meds, playing fetch for a couple hours a day—I’ve enjoyed it all. I even had a season of hosting on rover with my older sister when we lived together in NC. Potty breaks at a regular interval are not a problem for us, and we are always up early to get outside before the heat sets in. We both work at home and can provide constant camaraderie to your pets, keeping them from feeling alone in a new place. We currently have no pets of our own, partly because ours have passed on somewhat recently and partly because we’re not yet sure about the right time to add a new member to our family. That said, we haven’t had either dogs or cats at home for a while and we are missing them! We’d be thrilled to act as hosts for your pets and let them feel like our home is theirs while you are away. The photo of the dog with the bath towel on her head is of our late family dog, Lady. The other photos are of dogs from past rover stays :)

Jon and Mariia are a very sweet couple who were a perfect match for my two laidback dogs! They were very responsive in messages and gave frequent updates on how the dogs were doing. I can tell my two dogs were very happy and content staying with them, and I'm sure they got a lot of love and treats during their stay. Will definitely book again in the future!
They took great care of my baby! Communication was perfect, they even sent a few pictures which made my day. Would definitely use them again.
The absolute best! I am always a little anxious leaving my furbaby, but this stay was an absolute dream. The attentive care was incredible, and the response time to any messages was super fast and they were so understanding. The beautiful photo updates completely kept my mind at ease the entire time. They went above and beyond to provide exceptional care, and I highly recommend them to any pet parent!

We have never left our old dogs with anyone before and we were nervous. Jonathan and Mariia addressed all our concerns and were so great with our pups. We couldnt give them a better review. If you need caring dog sitters who treat your dogs like family then Jonathan and Mariia are your people! ❤️

Schedule
Pet care is a priority! We are usually home and always able to pause from work as needed. We’ll probably take too many breaks from work to play with your pets :)

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a great area for pets! We do live in an apartment, so no backyard—but we do have a dog park in our complex as well as a half mile stretch of grassy area just next to us that is great for playing fetch and going for walks. At home, we are comfortable providing as much space as we can. Pets can be on beds and wander into different rooms. Sleeping can be in a crate, on the floor, on their bed—however they like it.
