Hello! My wife and I both grew up with pets and have always had a soft spot for furry friends. Since middle school I (Jon) have been trusted not only to take care of my own family’s animals but also those of neighbors and friends. Bathing, administering heart worm meds, playing fetch for a couple hours a day—I’ve enjoyed it all. I even had a season of hosting on rover with my older sister when we lived together in NC. Potty breaks at a regular interval are not a problem for us, and we are always up early to get outside before the heat sets in. We both work at home and can provide constant camaraderie to your pets, keeping them from feeling alone in a new place. We currently have no pets of our own, partly because ours have passed on somewhat recently and partly because we’re not yet sure about the right time to add a new member to our family. That said, we haven’t had either dogs or cats at home for a while and we are missing them! We’d be thrilled to act as hosts for your pets and let them feel like our home is theirs while you are away.
