“Camo's first stay with Ron and his pups went fantastic! Camo took to Ron and his dogs right away and despite Camo being a moma's boy, he seemed to get comfortable quickly and became Ron's little shadow. Lily and Canoli were very gracious to let Camo steal some of their balls and Ron's attention and bed space! Thank you Ron family for taking such good care of my little man!”

“I am a completely over protective dog mom. I don't just leave my pups with anyone! Elizabeth put my mind at ease. I got several pictures daily and updates on how they were eating, how well they were getting along, if they had any accidents (my little one can be stubborn) and even offered to replace the kennel my dog chewed the zipper off! I will absolutely be using Elizabeth again. A much better experience than the big box boarding place.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner my whole life. We’ve recently relocated for my husbands job and I can officially stay home. My dog is friendly and gets along with any dog! I would love for him to get to play with others while I get to help others as I know finding pet care can be hard! I’m a mom of two school-aged kiddos! Aside from our quick 10-minute school drop-off and pick-up, along with the occasional errand, I’ll be home with your pups for the majority of the day. They’ll get lots of love, attention, and companionship while they’re in my care! I have a fenced-in yard and a spacious two-story home, making it a great fit for dogs of all sizes, including larger breeds. I also have an extremely friendly dog who is older but still loves to play! If needed, I’m more than happy to keep the dogs separated to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy.
“Alondra was amazing with Barbie! 🐾 She took such great care of her and kept us updated, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Barbie was happy and well cared for when we got back. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be booking with Alondra again soon. Highly recommend!”

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! Your dog will be in good hands.”

“Yaneli was amazing! Not only was she able to accommodate my last minute boarding request with no issues at all, but she let us come over for a meet and greet super last minute as well. From all the glowing reviews, I knew she’d be a good fit for my dog, and I was not disappointed! She took my boy on daily walks, sent daily updates and pictures and was so nice and helpful. You can tell how well she takes care of all the animals that stay with her, and my dog had a great time with her and the other dogs. I can’t recommend her enough!!!! :)”

“Kat took excellent care of my little Reina. I received updates on her quite frequently. Reina was taken on several walks and appeared to get a long well with Kat’s small pups. Thank you for all the care!”

“First-time dog owner here, and we needed someone to care for our puppy while we went out of town. Roxi is a four-month-old Rottweiler who is still learning a lot — and after just one long weekend with Gidette, I learned so much more about our own dog. Gidette went above and beyond. She sent daily pictures and status updates that gave us real peace of mind, and she even helped Roxi start going to the bathroom outside instead of relying on the pads. That kind of attention and care, especially with a young puppy, meant the world to us. I'm so grateful for Gidette's help and will absolutely be using her again anytime we have to leave town. Highly recommend!”

“Marraya and her mother went above and beyond to accommodate our tiny but mighty chihuahuas for an entire weekend. They cared and loved our babies like if they were their own. Fur babies had to board at Marrayas house which was so clean and smelled so fresh. Abe and Zena do have special requirements and they were all fulfilled. Marraya was very commutative with updates and cute photos! She will be our go to sitter for any trips! 🙌🙏🙏”

“Amy was an exceptional sitter for Luna. She was eager and willing to make Luna’s stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. She sent me regular updates and photos. She followed the instructions detailing Luna’s daily routine, including two doses of seizure medication each day. Amy’s home was clean and inviting. I had no qualms about leaving Luna in their home or with Amy and Ian, her fiancé. They were very personable and super easy to work with. Communication was also easy and quick. I will definitely hire Amy again when we need a sitter for Luna.”

“This was the first time to leave our baby and Brittani put us at ease. Her pet and breakfast was great. Pepper was happy to see us but came home and slept She is a very high energy pup and was worn out She can’t wait to go back”

“Patricia was an exceptional caregiver to my corgi. We had a good meet and greet and Pat was very prompt with communications as we set up the day/time to drop off and pick up my dog. She sent me photos throughout his stay with her, took him on multiple daily walks, followed his feeding regime and was just wonderful! I would recommend her services to any dog owner with confidence. I will be contacting her in the future whenever I need dog sitting services- she is my go to person for my corgi.”

“Vicky took such great care of Beckett while we were traveling, and I especially appreciated the photos and updates throughout the trip. Would absolutely board with her again!”

“Ms Catalina’s AMAZING! She took very good care of our Mr Wick- very flexible, kept and kept us updated everyday. We are so happy and we’ll definitely see her again. Thank You so much, T. Family-”

“Another happy stay for Sequoia with Daniel! She was so happy to go back to Daniel’s for more play time with her friends and snuggles. His home, care and communication are exceptional every single time. Sequoia can’t wait to make herself at home at her favorite home away from home with Daniel.”

Lauren was so sweet and caring with my Desi! My dog had the best time in her care 💜. Lauren kept in touch with me all weekend and took excellent care of my fur baby! I highly recommend, if you can book her she’s amazing and Millie (her dog) was the sweetest, happy to see my dog made a new friend ☺️

We are so appreciative to Emily for being such a wonderful host to our pups! She was a joy to communicate with and did an amazing job keeping us updated while we were away! Our dogs were definitely thriving under her care! We will definitely be using her again in the future! Thank you, Emily!

Sonia provides the perfect environment for your dog. I think my dog had almost a better vacation than I did( don’t want my grandchildren to hear that though). She is definitely an “A” one dog sitter and I hope she will be available when ever Lexi is in need of one.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AZ ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
