I intentionally keep my schedule flexible so I can provide attentive, personalized care for every pet. Whether your dog or cat is staying overnight, visiting for daycare, or receiving a drop-in visit, they’ll have plenty of opportunities for play, enrichment, affection, potty breaks, meals, and rest throughout the day. I also provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. My home is clean, calm, and designed with pets in mind. I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and enjoy supervised outdoor time. I also have a secure front patio, and the entire front of my property is enclosed by a large wall and gated entry, providing multiple layers of security. Because I share my home with my own dog and cat, I only accept boarding and daycare pets that are friendly and comfortable around other dogs and cats. I take introductions slowly, supervise interactions, and always respect each pet’s comfort level. I also intentionally limit the number of pets I care for at one time so every guest receives plenty of one-on-one attention and never feels overwhelmed. My goal is to create a safe, low-stress environment where every pet feels welcomed, comfortable, and treated like family.

Before accepting a booking, I’d love to learn as much as possible about your pet so I can provide the best care possible. Please tell me about their daily routine, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, favorite activities, fears, sleeping habits, and any special instructions you’d like me to follow. I’d also appreciate knowing about any behavioral concerns, including anxiety, resource guarding, leash reactivity, separation anxiety, or how they typically interact with unfamiliar people and other animals. For boarding and daycare, all pets should be comfortable around other dogs and cats, as I have pets of my own. The more I know about your furry family member ahead of time, the better I can create a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience that’s tailored specifically to their needs.
A typical day
No two pets are exactly alike, so I tailor each day to your pet’s personality, energy level, and routine. Active pets can enjoy supervised playtime in my spacious backyard, enrichment activities, and walks through my quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood. If your dog enjoys getting out and exploring, we may even take a stroll to the nearby dog-friendly library just down the street for a change of scenery and plenty of new smells. Pets who prefer a slower pace are always welcome to relax indoors, enjoy a cozy nap, or soak up plenty of affection and attention. Throughout the day, I’ll make sure your pet receives the love, exercise, enrichment, and care they deserve, along with regular photo updates so you can follow along with their adventures. As a special thank-you, every new client and every overnight boarding guest receives one of my signature Pep Packs. Each Pep Pack is a small take-home gift filled with thoughtfully selected treats, toys, and other pet-friendly goodies, personalized just for your furry family member.

Melissa, did a great job, from what I can tell, of taking care of Fawn my 12 year old totally blind Chihuahua. However, I was gone for three weeks, to Japan and made it very clear that especially since it was for 3 weeks, and Melissa was staying in my home that she was also responsible for my house. That included cleaning it and changing the sheets and washing her towels and sheets. I was very surprised when she texted me a day before my return asking me what she wanted done with the dirty sheets and towels. Melissa also did not clean my house. The furniture has a layer of dust, and the ceramic tile floors have spill spots and dirt. She cooked using my glass top stove and never cleaned it Basically, I came home to a sweet, well cared for dog, but a very dirty house. I also explained to her to keep the thermostat no lower than 79, since it is a townhome and the blower blows directly on anyone. I came home and the thermostat was at 77 degrees. There were other unexplained things happening that I will not go into here. Melissa is great taking care of dogs, but is a horrible housekeeper, if you plan on using her for over a week. I will not use her again.
Melissa is amazing! Our pup took to her instantly and seemed happy and comfortable really quickly. Mellisa is great about sending pictures and a little report card at the end of a stay. She is a kind, organized and it’s obvious how good she is with animals! Highly, highly recommend her!!

Melissa is amazing! Super friendly and great with all my pets, you can tell she really cares for them! Her pics and videos of the pets are wonderful! Will definitely hire her again!
