“I boarded my 20 pound Miniature Schnauzer with Ron for a period of ten days while in Hawaii. My pup is an important part of my family and I want him to feel as if he is also having a vacation while I am away. After carefully researching every available boarding option I decided on Ron. I met Ron for a meet and greet before the actual boarding and his responsible and trustworthy nature was evident. Ron also has a beautifully landscaped and secure back yard. Lastly, Ron's Poodle Lily made an excellent companion to my proportionately sized Miniature Schnauzer. In my opinion, the combination of these qualities make's Ron the best choice for small dog boarding in Tucson. My schnauzer had a joyous time frolicking and cuddling with Ron's poodle while I was away. Ron did a great job of sending photos. The photos showed that my pup was eating, enjoying time on the couch and even cuddled in bed next to Ron's poodle. I received photos throughout my trip (not just the first few days) and these photos convinced me that my pup was having just as much fun as I was. Ron is a primary school teacher which is an occupation that I have much respect for and is illustrative of his good character. Ron also has a love of plants which is evident in his beautiful green yard with lots of shady places for dogs to rest and play. I was also very pleased that Ron has a dog door that my 20 pound schnauzer was able to fit through easily for constant back yard access. Overall, I do not think there is a better choice for small dog boarding in Tucson. My pup actually seemed sad to leave Ron and his poodle Lily. It was a great opportunity for my dog to socialize and play with another well trained dog. My dog came back happy, well exercised and without a trace of anxiety. In conclusion, Ron is a kind, intelligent, and caring animal lover. I would not hesitate to board my much loved miniature schnauzer with him next time I go on vacation. Ron's tranquil home and general attitude make the experience a vacation for your pet.”

“Exceptional! Carly is a shy dog with others but because Sheila and David are such "dog people", they sent pics every day of Carly, peacefully laying on their laps! This was the first time ever boarding Carly and she is not used to having other dogs around her but, their own dogs, Mellow and Jaxon were well behaved and welcomed Carly. Mellow even shared his crate with Carly when she wanted a quiet place of "her own". The daily texts and pics were fun and welcome. Their home is perfectly set up for boarding multiple dogs if needed. The outdoor spaces are perfect! Plenty of shade and spacious enough to lounge or run around. I can't recommend Shiela and David more highly. If it is your first time boarding your fur-baby, and you are nervous about it, choose Shiela and David. You can rest assured that your baby, even a baby as shy as Carly, is well cared for with Shiela and David.”

There were somethings that we wanted to do and go see what wouldn't allow us to bring Belle with us. I contacted Sylvie the night before we wanted to bring Belle for doggy day care; she responded and accepted our request within minutes! When the day came, I was nervous. I wasn't sure how Belle would do at doggy day care, it was her first time. Sylvie definitely made us feel comfortable leaving Belle with her, she explained everything to us and sent pictures and videos of our pup throughout the day. We trusted Sylvie so much that we decided to board Belle for the night and added another day of doggy day care! I was assured that Belle was well taken care of in Sylvie's hands. “We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. “Ashley and her family are the best! We were in town to deal with some business and with varying hours and she happily was very flexible about what time we needed to pick our Lily up! Our dog had a blast and was pulling on the leash to get back to the door when we brought her back after the first day. Ashley provided walks, training sessions,rest time and playtime. Our dog is on a low-fat diet for medical reasons and she conscientiously gave her the treats we brought. She sends several videos during the day so you can see your baby. There were a couple other dogs in care at the same time and she did an excellent job of introducing and monitoring the dogs. Overall a wonderful experience! We don’t live in Tucson but if we ever return for a visit we would definitely use her again and we highly recommend her to others ❤️”

About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. I like to walk and get my steps in everyday so it won’t be much different walking with the doggos. I have dog and catsit for close friends and family but never strangers. Excited to do it! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I am my own boss so I can pretty much take breaks whenever I need to take your fur baby on walks or feed them as well as give them lots of attention when needed. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: Greetings! First, *I hold a up- to-date AZ fingerprint background clearance card (shown in photos) I have been pet caring and house/pet sitting for 7+ years now. I consider myself a caring and responsible pet sitter. I know that pets are family and require lots of love and attention. About: At 55, I have been a pet owner most of my life. When I first moved to Tucson in 2006, my now wife had a husky and tabby cat which we unfortunately lost years ago. Since then we have been mainly cat owners seeing as our house is quite small but I do miss being around, playing with and walking dogs. I am mature but still a kid at heart, flexible schedule, reliable transportation, indoors mostly but loves to be outside and, above all, a lifetime fan of animals. Cheers! Seeing as I work from home and set my own schedule, I can be there when you need, as you need, if you need, all of that. Breaking away from my laptop and house husband duties to hang out with your dog(s) or cat(s) for an extended amount of time is a far better prospect than running errands or checking the mail. Since February of this year, 2026, we are proud parents of a a brother and sister combo of, lets say, rather enthusiastic kittens. It is a small cottage midtown, a safe and loving environment with far too many toys that they sometimes play with, food and water bowls that are always full, I take time out every afternoon to deep clean the house and I even started an Instagram for them that is usually either a) the duo being in the way when we're trying to watch a movie or me cooking dinner or b) chronicling what we like to call "turbo time", aka the zoomies.
