“Carina and her family were absolutely wonderful to Noah. We needed a last minute sitter for longterm care and she was quick in responding to us. We were hesitant at first as we never booked a sitter prior to this and Noah was adopted from PACC within the year so we couldn't provide 100% information about his character. Carina was very patient with him and took him on walks he had many cuddles with her family. She updated us frequently while we were out of the country and even offered to purchase his treats that we forgot to leave with her. We will 100% rebook with her the next time we are in need! “We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! “Darlene went above and beyond with our little girl, Rosie. We really put her through the ringer. Rosie is older and has health issues that occasionally arise. Just before her stay, she started experiencing incontinence, which, though treated, was not yet under control during her stay with Darlene. Poor Darlene had to use her mop quite a bit, and despite the burden, she treated Rosie so gently and sweetly. Even though having accidents normally stresses Rosie out, she was very content at Darlene's. She was given a lot of love, a healthy amount of treats, and plenty of outside and playtime with Darlene's little pom, Foxi. We were able to relax knowing that Rosie was in great hands. We're big fans of Darlene. Will book again, if she'll have us.”

“This is Brittani's second time watching our two dogs. The first time was for one night while we were having some house work done. This second time was for a whole week while we were on vacation. My ten month old lab started her first heat, so Brittani knew what to do and how things work as she's managed her own dogs and is just an overall experienced animal person. Also, we have had older dogs in the past and boarded them elsewhere, but with our two younger pups, boarding with a person works much better for them as they get the attention they need. About: I worked at a boarding business for cats and dogs and was around many different breeds, sizes, and ages of cats. In this job I had to clean out their litter box, feed them their desired food, and also give medicine to the ones that needed it. I also had to play and cuddle and spend time with each cat during a shift. I have always grown up around cats, my first ever pet was a cat, and I own a cat now as well. “We left our Chihuahua Jack Russell mix with Barbara for a whole long day while we came to town to attended a graduation. We were apprehensive about leaving our baby anywhere mostly because he can be kinda crazy lol but she instantly made us feel very comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. You can tell that she genuinely loves dogs and is very comfortable with them. Her home is very inviting and secure and just perfect for four-legged friends. There were two other "guests" there and I kind of felt like I was leaving him at a little doggy party. He seemed happy from the get-go so that made us happy to leave him there. She was also very flexible with our time to drop off and pick up. And very easy to communicate with sending us pictures throughout the day. Her rate was great too! About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

If you are looking for dog boarding at my home the dog/dogs must be minimal barkers otherwise I will welcome their company as my co-worker for the day- I recently lost my senior pet so this home is too empty! At my home I have a fenced in yard with no other pets so your pet will have quality attention (one pet family boarding at my home at a time.) Experienced in crate training/crated dogs. Will only provide treats that are provided by owner to be conscious of potential allergies or other dietary restrictions. Can help assist in potty training or teaching any other tricks while you are away. I don’t allow dogs to pull on walks and will actively work with your pet to reduce this behavior. About: I have experience taking care of boarding dogs and cats at an animal hospital. I worked for them for a little over a year and have gotten lots of experience with dogs and cats. I used to raise puppies and train them how to sit and have manners for about two years with my parent. I have dog sitting experience and house sitting experience. And on weekends I would be free to play with and walk the animals as needed. Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!

In addition to having my own pets, I've taken care of many of my friend's and family's pets while they were away, and have learned a lot about animal behaviors from volunteering for the Humane Society. I have a lot of flexibility in my daily routine. I can schedule work hours around pet care responsibilities, so I'm available to check-in on, or walk, your pet on short notice, as well as take care of your pet while you're away. I believe that the best way to lessen a pet's stress when their person isn't available is to keep their routine as close to normal as possible. Whether this means regularly scheduled walks or potty break/feeding times or spending time with them in the evenings, I would be happy to help your pet when circumstances arise that take you away from your home and pet.

As a pet owner myself, I know how much anxiety leaving pets behind brings when travelling. It’s so important to me to make sure the pets I care for receive the same kind of love I would want for my own cat. Skills & Experience: -Cared for family dogs and cats for 17 years, including daily walks. Provided pet-sitting for 15+ years -Current cat owner of 1 cat for 5 years. -Provided drop-in visits and overnight dog-sitting through rover for 3 years I’d love to help out with drop-ins and walking in a regular basis in my neighborhood. I work 9-6 on weekdays, so I can do morning and evening walks and drop-ins. Also, I can do over night pet-sitting as needed. I’m very responsible and reliable. I truly enjoy playing and interacting with both dogs and cats of all ages and breeds. I would love to help you make having a pet more do-able and stress-free! I work a 8-5 job Monday-Friday. I can do check-ins before work and after work. For stays I am unable to stop by during the day, unless you love near downtown. In the month of June, I can work from home (your house) the second half of the day. I only provide stays at your home. I can follow whatever safety and care requirements you have, besides taking the dog out mid-day on weekdays.

About: Growing up I’ve always had dogs in my family. However now that I’m an out-of-state student, I’ve been feeling homesick and it especially doesn’t help that I’m not around any dog love anymore. I heard about Rover through a friend and felt that this would help me with what I’ve been feeling. “This is Brittani's second time watching our two dogs. The first time was for one night while we were having some house work done. This second time was for a whole week while we were on vacation. My ten month old lab started her first heat, so Brittani knew what to do and how things work as she's managed her own dogs and is just an overall experienced animal person. We feel our dogs are in good hands with Brittani. Also, we have had older dogs in the past and boarded them elsewhere, but with our two younger pups, boarding with a person works much better for them as they get the attention they need. Josie and Little Joe were happy to come home at the end of the week, but were very happy with Brittani. They are happy and tired now. I highly recommend Brittani for dog boarding with an experienced and knowledgeable animal lover.”

About: I have 20 years experience caring for all types of animals (reptiles, small animals, cats, dogs with a wide range of medical and behavioral challenges. I work from home so my schedule is fairly flexible. If you are looking for dog boarding at my home the dog/dogs must be minimal barkers otherwise I will welcome their company as my co-worker for the day- I recently lost my senior pet so this home is too empty! At my home I have a fenced in yard with no other pets so your pet will have quality attention (one pet family boarding at my home at a time.) Experienced in crate training/crated dogs. Will only provide treats that are provided by owner to be conscious of potential allergies or other dietary restrictions. Can help assist in potty training or teaching any other tricks while you are away. I don’t allow dogs to pull on walks and will actively work with your pet to reduce this behavior. Your pet will be treated like a member of the family with patience, love and compassion backed my many years experience and training on animal behavior.
