About: I have been around animals for my entire life! I have pet sit for neighbors and family friends since I was young, and have been working professionally and volunteering with animals for about one year, feeding, training, coaching, and shanking animals in shelter, daycare, and boarding environments all ranging from pets ages newborn to elderly. “We left our Chihuahua Jack Russell mix with Barbara for a whole long day while we came to town to attended a graduation. We were apprehensive about leaving our baby anywhere mostly because he can be kinda crazy lol but she instantly made us feel very comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. You can tell that she genuinely loves dogs and is very comfortable with them. Her home is very inviting and secure and just perfect for four-legged friends. There were two other "guests" there and I kind of felt like I was leaving him at a little doggy party. He seemed happy from the get-go so that made us happy to leave him there. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I am the person that always walks other people's dogs since they don't have the time for it. The well-being of pets, even those I don't own, is always something that I pay close attention to. I have taken care of my pregnant dog twice, helping her deliver and tending to newborn puppies. “We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! Your dog will be in good hands.”

She showed our dog a great time with several walks and fun outings, she worked on some training with her, and she sent pictures, videos, and updates throughout the time of our vacation.
