Sheila sends cute messages and picture/video updates during each stay and we’re always comforted knowing our pups are being well taken care of. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. About: I worked at a boarding business for cats and dogs and was around many different breeds, sizes, and ages of cats. In this job I had to clean out their litter box, feed them their desired food, and also give medicine to the ones that needed it. I also had to play and cuddle and spend time with each cat during a shift. I have always grown up around cats, my first ever pet was a cat, and I own a cat now as well. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.

About: I’ve had furry friends my entire life, and have been taking care of other people’s pets since I was 13. Pet sitting is not just a hobby for me but passion that started my own childhood home. I try to be observant to my dogs behaviors to see if soemthing is off and I try to keep a decently consistent schedule with feeding and potty breaks. I also make sure they have enough water especially in Arizona heat.
About: My whole life has been around animals including 2-3 dogs in my household, caring for a guinea pig, and loving on my friends’ cats. We raised several dogs from 6 week old puppies to their senior years. Since moving out on my own I have had the opportunity to dog sit for all ages of pups. I have also always taken a special interest in volunteering at local animal shelters. I would love the chance to look after and love your animal like my own. I recently moved to the area and have time before my program starts. My days are all about learning the area and preparing for classes so my availability is extremely flexible. Would also love to build relationships that can continue once my program starts and I can be a regular part of your pets life. I have reliable transportation and can be available most times of day. Not currently offering in home service but could be flexible for returning clients!
About: I've worked in many fields with different animals for about 20 years now. I am comfortable with all sizes and ages of pets. I am experienced with giving medication and special diets. I personally have owned a variety of breeds and species in my home, and have previously worked at an animal rescue, which I love doing. I have a pretty flexible schedule and can schedule around my main job. I would mostly be doing stop by or overnight in the pets owners home. I do have a crate if needed but typically I would follow special instructions from the pet owner to ensure I provide the best possible care for your fur babies 🥰
About: I’ve grown up with having a variety of pets. I currently have a dog and two cats and recently a gecko. I have house experience house/pet sitting for about a year now. I’m a college student home for the summer, so I am available most of the time. I am open to housesitting over weekends. I can make as many visits as your pet needs. About: I worked at a boarding business for about a year and a half for dogs and cats. I worked with all different sizes and breeds, and ages of dogs and cats. My job tittle including playing and cuddling with the animals, feeding the animals, cleaning where they stayed, and giving medicine to the animals that required it. I have a little more than basic knowledge of dogs and cats health and always try to stay up to date with that. I dog sit and cat sit for friends and families regularly aswell. I have always grown up around animals and if you were to ask anyone who knows me they will say I have always wanted to work with animals since I knew what a job was. I am currently a college student and am majoring in wildlife conservation, while that's not specifically a major for cats and animals I still have and will learn a lot about those species as well!! I currently don't have a job so my schedule is really open. I work out everyday usually in the mornings to early afternoons. But I have a very flexible schedule! I have a fenced backyard just under 2acres of land. So it is very spacious for bigger dogs to run around in! I am able to walk dogs for however long.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was 10 years old. Through the years I have walked dogs, taken care of cats and dogs while house sitting, and made sure all pets were taken good care of. These years have also taught me how to adapt to all different kinds of dogs wether they were puppies or older dogs. People have trusted and relied on me to take care of their pets when they were away and also depended on me to make sure their house was safe and secure. I am currently a student in college so I have a sufficient amount of time through out my days and weeks. In the week I do not have very long days meaning I have breaks through out the day. In addition, on the weekends I am normally home as I do not travel often. I currently live in an apartment, but I have places near me for the dog to be outside. I also live in an area where I can dog walk. In clients home I am able to respond to what the pet may need. This includes taking the pets for walks, feeding them, letting them outside to pee and poop, and playing with them.
