About: I worked at a boarding business for cats and dogs and was around many different breeds, sizes, and ages of cats. In this job I had to clean out their litter box, feed them their desired food, and also give medicine to the ones that needed it. I also had to play and cuddle and spend time with each cat during a shift. I have always grown up around cats, my first ever pet was a cat, and I own a cat now as well. I can pick up on their moods fairly quickly and know basic knowledge of cats health.

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: When I moved into my house in 2018, one of my first priorities was to get a dog. Recently, Addie, who spent the past 7 years with me, had to be put down unexpectedly. I miss her a ton, and I would love to open my home to another dog (the yard just calls out for it), but I am unable to adopt at the moment for logistical/financial reasons. I would love for your pets and I to keep each other company while I work from home during the day! I am a diligent and reliable person who works remotely as a paralegal, so I always need excuses (whether walks, play, food, snuggles, or just potty breaks) to get up from my desk and move at intervals throughout the work day. I love animals of all kinds - in addition to my own dog, I can submit my friends' pets as references (Mildred the cat likes me better than her owner's wife, and Maggie the dog is obsessed with me while spurning every other friend her owners have). I'm also a birdwatcher and a huge fan of all the wildlife in my yard, from bunnies to lizards. My dog training and medical/senior pet care skills are limited, but I am open to learning and strongly attentive to detail - I will be sure to give your pet what they need. I work from home during the week, with approximate hours of 7 am - 4 pm M-F. On Tuesdays I have appointments in the afternoons, so I will not be available for day care that day. Weekend availability will depend on my plans. I don't have any pets at home currently. I have a screened-in patio with a dog door leading to the fenced-in backyard. When the weather is nice (not too hot), I like to work in the patio. The yard backs onto a wash, so there is a lot of wildlife in the area. Javelinas and coyotes frequent the area but cannot get into the yard. I have seen two rattlesnakes in the yard in 7 years of living here. I would not leave small/medium dogs or cats outside unsupervised. If you give permission, I would feel comfortable leaving large dogs who are snake trained outside while I'm in the house (as I often did with my 80 lb golden doodle).

Right now my family has a mini golden doodle who's been with us for 14 years and a mini Aussie doodle. I also have a pitbull mix named nova! She's two years old. About: I have experience taking care of boarding dogs and cats at an animal hospital. I worked for them for a little over a year and have gotten lots of experience with dogs and cats. I used to raise puppies and train them how to sit and have manners for about two years with my parent. I have dog sitting experience and house sitting experience. I also want to note that I am a full time college student, my schedule is below for more information. Just keep scrolling and you will see “schedule” section. Thank you :) I am currently going to school at the UofA full time during the weekdays (my class schedule is listed below keep reading) and would be available most days to come and play with the animals for 30 minutes to an hour in the afternoons and overnight sitting. And on weekends I would be free to play with and walk the animals as needed. Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!

About: Growing up I’ve always had dogs in my family. However now that I’m an out-of-state student, I’ve been feeling homesick and it especially doesn’t help that I’m not around any dog love anymore. About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My first dog was a Chihuahua who lived to be 18, so I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs and making sure they stay comfortable as they grow older. About: My whole life has been around animals including 2-3 dogs in my household, caring for a guinea pig, and loving on my friends’ cats. We raised several dogs from 6 week old puppies to their senior years. Since moving out on my own I have had the opportunity to dog sit for all ages of pups. I can do multiple visits daily if needed. I also have the flexibility to do longer visits if needed to provide socialization and comfort for your pet! About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.

Provided pet-sitting for 15+ years -Current cat owner of 1 cat for 5 years. -Provided drop-in visits and overnight dog-sitting through rover for 3 years I’d love to help out with drop-ins and walking in a regular basis in my neighborhood. I work 9-6 on weekdays, so I can do morning and evening walks and drop-ins. Also, I can do over night pet-sitting as needed. I’m very responsible and reliable. I can do check-ins before work and after work. For stays I am unable to stop by during the day, unless you love near downtown. In the month of June, I can work from home (your house) the second half of the day. I only provide stays at your home. I can follow whatever safety and care requirements you have, besides taking the dog out mid-day on weekdays.

“Lara is great! She has an amazing set-up of fenced in acreage where she keeps horses and a pony in addition to her own 2 dogs. She has regular daycare doggies and they have free range of her property and home after being vetted that your dog will be a good fit. Our 2 1/2 year old dog enjoyed her stay and even got to go on a desert exploration alongside Lara while she rode on her horse drawn buggy. Highly recommend Lara for daycare or boarding and we will be using her again!”

“Seth and his family were a dream come true for any pawrents out there! You can truly feel the love they have for your furkid, they understand that furkid is family. Usually I feel separation anxiety but this time round I didn’t as I was assured that Cheddar was in great hands! They made sure to understand Cheddar’s routine and follow through to the dot. Seth also made sure to send daily updates so that we don’t miss out on all the fun he had during boarding. By the way Seth is a great photographer, we gained lots of poster photos for our boy thanks to him! To any pawrents looking out for a boarder, just do a meet and greet with them and you will understand what I mean. We definitely will not hesitate to rebook Seth and his family for any upcoming trips!”
