“We left our Chihuahua Jack Russell mix with Barbara for a whole long day while we came to town to attended a graduation. We were apprehensive about leaving our baby anywhere mostly because he can be kinda crazy lol but she instantly made us feel very comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. You can tell that she genuinely loves dogs and is very comfortable with them. Her home is very inviting and secure and just perfect for four-legged friends. There were two other "guests" there and I kind of felt like I was leaving him at a little doggy party. He seemed happy from the get-go so that made us happy to leave him there. She was also very flexible with our time to drop off and pick up. And very easy to communicate with sending us pictures throughout the day. Her rate was great too! I would highly recommend Barbara and we'll definitely use her again again if the need arises! Thanks for loving Henry for us yesterday Barbara!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have been caring for them since I was young, so being around them feels natural to me. I’ve helped friends, family, and neighbors with walking, feeding, bathing, and giving their dogs attention and exercise. I’m reliable, patient, and make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I wanted to become a Conservation Biologist at one point of my life instead I went into Public Health! My schedule is flexible, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting, and I make sure they get lots of attention, playtime, and care while you’re away. I'm a PhD student and do a lot of work from home. Live close to campus. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment in my pet-friendly apartment, with access to a small yard and nearby Himmel Park for regular walks and exercise. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!
