“We love Beth! She is a super prompt communicator and loves our dogs so well. We feel confident leaving the dogs with her, knowing full well they will be cared for.”

“Gail is a dog whisperer. She is lovely, my sometimes very shy dog was in heaven with Gail. Her home is lovely too with a very safe yard for furry friends to stay safe. I will go back.”

“Ron, Canoli, and Lili take the best care of my dog Maisie! She feels right at home and gets an incredible amount of attention and love. Finding Ron and his girls is the best thing that has happened to me and Maisie.”

“It's so nice to leave on a vacation knowing that your dog is going to be loved and cared for! Yahtzee loves going to visita Richard and Jeanette. He makes himself at home as soon as he enters the house.... Because he feels art home! We leave him confidently knowing the love he's given.... And gives back! ”
“Dana is so kind and accommodating! It was one my boys’ first time at a sitter so I was really nervous but after dropping him off, my worries faded. My boys were well-cared for and they enjoyed their time with Dana! I felt extremely lucky finding Dana and would absolutely use her again.”

“Antonio took great care of our pup. He was very easy to communicate with and provided updates throughout the stay with pictures and videos. We would definitely use him again to watch our pup and recommend him.”

“Exceptional! Carly is a shy dog with others but because Sheila and David are such "dog people", they sent pics every day of Carly, peacefully laying on their laps! This was the first time ever boarding Carly and she is not used to having other dogs around her but, their own dogs, Mellow and Jaxon were well behaved and welcomed Carly. Mellow even shared his crate with Carly when she wanted a quiet place of "her own". The daily texts and pics were fun and welcome. Their home is perfectly set up for boarding multiple dogs if needed. The outdoor spaces are perfect! Plenty of shade and spacious enough to lounge or run around. I can't recommend Shiela and David more highly. If it is your first time boarding your fur-baby, and you are nervous about it, choose Shiela and David. You can rest assured that your baby, even a baby as shy as Carly, is well cared for with Shiela and David.”

“Cashmere was well taken care of by Ana. My little dog got to play with Ana’s little dog. The socialization was great. Cashmere was taken on walks in the neighborhood. Ana did a great job communicating to me on a regular basis. She sent pictures and video often. We had a god experience.”

“Vicky was an amazing sitter for my dog. She really went above and beyond to make Mandy feel at home and safe and to send me pictures and videos every day. Mandy went into heat while in Vicky's care and Vicky handled it incredibly well. She is a wonderful sitter and such an animal lover. Highly recommend.”

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! Your dog will be in good hands.”

“Kat took excellent care of my little Reina. I received updates on her quite frequently. Reina was taken on several walks and appeared to get a long well with Kat’s small pups. Thank you for all the care!”

“Jose kept my cat for a long weekend, and I couldn’t be happier. Jose gave me updates and sent pictures. My sweet girl is shy and cautious so it takes a day or so for her to warm up. By the third day, she was sunbathing on her side which means she was very comfortable. He provided a calm safe space for her. I will definitely use him again in the future and highly recommend him. Jose, thank you again!”

“Truly the best dog sitter I have ever experienced. She is clearly experienced in dog training and care. My high energy dog can be a lot to care for and he absolutely had the best time of his life!!! I don’t think I’ll be using another sitter!”

“Oso had a blast running around Lara’s property and playing with the other doggies during our weekend away. Lara communicated well and kept us updated on how happy Oso was while we were gone.”

“Michelle was a dream for my Desi girl! She is so incredibly kind, caring and attentive to my pup 😊. I appreciated her consistent communication while I was out of town, her experience with dogs is invaluable, I HIGHLY recommend her to all pet owners!”

“Marraya and her mother went above and beyond to accommodate our tiny but mighty chihuahuas for an entire weekend. They cared and loved our babies like if they were their own. Fur babies had to board at Marrayas house which was so clean and smelled so fresh. Abe and Zena do have special requirements and they were all fulfilled. Marraya was very commutative with updates and cute photos! She will be our go to sitter for any trips! 🙌🙏🙏”

“My dog Kora loves staying with Courtney and her family - she comes back rejuvenated and happy. Courtney is always top on my list for boarding. Great communication, flexibility, and very caring. 10/10.”

“My dog loves going to Sylvies! When we get out of the car to drop him off he almost bowls me over with excitement running over to her door. Loved all the fun videos Sylvie provides of Dobby always relaxing inside with people around. I trust my little guy is well looked after when visiting her. Highly recommend Sylvie. Very responsive and lovely couple in general that love dogs”

“Chloe did such an amazing job with my two cats! She went above and beyond. She had great communication throughout her time with them and always sent me lots of photos. “Gabby was fantastic. She showed up for a meet and greet with the boys and we were pleasantly surprised when they took to her well. She followed instructions very well and relayed any pressing issues right away. We will be definitely be booking Gabby in the future for our boys needs.”

“Once again, Sheila has taken good care of my spoiled cat. She makes sure he has food and water and a clean litter box then plays with him and leaves him happy. She took the time to notify me that my AC was not working properly, which I greatly appreciated.”

“Booked with me same day for next day start due to my previous sitter’s last minute cancellation. Was a lifesaver and my cat loved her! Sent me pics and updates! I’ll definitely book her again to care for my cat (with daily drop ins)!”

“Isabella was so wonderful! She sent thorough updates everyday and made sure we had no worries or concerns while our kitties were in her care. She went above and beyond when our cats made some big messes towards the end of our week long vacation. I’d book her again in a heartbeat. In the words of my husbands in regards to hiring Isabella, “don’t even think about it, don’t even hesitate, just do it. “”

“Logan always goes above and beyond, we are so happy to have him watching our kitties anytime we are out of town. Absolutely a gem, we recommend to anyone we know!”

“One of my rats unfortunately passed while I was away but Alex was quick to inform me and handled everything as I asked. Despite the tragedy, my remaining two rats and cat were doing well when I returned, and I received thorough reports and pictures throughout my trip that made me feel assured that all of my pets are being well cared for. Will definitely have Alex take care of my pets again!”

“Jewel checked in on my cat Cleo twice each day to make sure she was eating and also getting some enrichment. She made sure that the litterbox was cleaned up daily and that there was enough water for Cleo each day. Jewel made sure to write up a summary after each visit. I came back home to find Cleo as happy and healthy as she was before I left and that she had already been fed. She got along very well with Jewel based on the reports. Overall, I would definitely ask Jewel to look after Cleo again.”

About: I currently work from home and am available for all of your dogs needs from companionship, stimulation and bathroom breaks. I pride myself on being available to the dogs and a present pet parent. I work from home and your pet will be included in my day to day activities as if it were my own. I am very attentive caring and sensitive to the needs of my pets which in turn will make me sensitive to the needs of your pet. The pets in my home are cared for as family, they get free reign of the house, they have full access to my back yard and they are not left alone in the back yard.

“Shanda is a wonderful dog sitter. Her house is perfectly set up for doggie play / exercise and she cares very much about the client pups as well as her own 2 Corgis. Bailey felt very much at home and enjoyed her stay. Shanda was even kind enough to bring Bailey home to us so we didn't have to make the drive down to her house after we had along round-trip to the Phoenix area. I highly recommend Shanda.”

“Reagan is happy, tired, and beaming after her day with her favorite people and pups. And I am her happy person knowing she had another day of fun and exceptional care. Reagan is always happy and confident after her time with Christie, Daniel, and their family, and we can’t wait until our next play day in a few weeks.”

About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. I like to walk and get my steps in everyday so it won’t be much different walking with the doggos. I have dog and catsit for close friends and family but never strangers. Excited to do it! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I am my own boss so I can pretty much take breaks whenever I need to take your fur baby on walks or feed them as well as give them lots of attention when needed. My availability is very open and I love all animals. Since I work from home I’ll always be here to make sure your animal is well cared for and happy. I also go on multiple walks daily anyways to try and stay active so its perfect!!

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I care for animals as if they were my own and my pets are treated like royalty. I’ve personally owned a Labrador Retriever, a Rottweiler, cats, an aquatic turtle, and other small animals. This range of experience has taught me how to read different personalities, energy levels, and boundaries. While I’m new to Rover, I have many years of hands-on pet sitting experience for family and friends who trusted me with their homes and their animals. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and I take every booking seriously. Your pet’s safety, routine, and comfort always come first. I’m comfortable caring for pets with medical needs, including cats with kidney disease, and I’m also confident handling “sassy,” strong-willed, or opinionated animals. I respect their boundaries, stay calm, and know how to earn trust without forcing interaction. You can count on clear communication, consistency, and thoughtful care every step of the way. I am self employed which allows for a flexible schedule. I do sometimes work events but that is planned in advance so if I am listed as available I will be available. I am happy to accommodate the unique needs of your pet. Respect of others space and privacy is extremely important to me and I will ask lots of questions for if/then scenarios.
“Midna had a great time with Brittani! She is a puppy with boundless energy but was all tuckered out when she came home. I had to leave town for the day and I'm glad my pup got some exercise and social interaction instead of sitting in her crate all day. Thank you, Brittani. We will definitely be booking with you again.”

About: I’ve always been that person who helps out with family pets just because I love taking care of them. A few years ago, I finally got a dog of my own, and that’s when I really got into training—learning how to communicate with her, build routines, and understand how she thinks. Now, I bring that same care and attention to every pet I watch, making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I am a college student with a flexible schedule. This means i can adjust my availability based on your pets' needs, whether it's check-ins throughout the day or last minute help. I do not do stays in my own home at the moment as my dog is not always good with other dogs/animals, but I am able to make it out to you to do care in your own home. I learn quickly, and i use this to my advantage as i learn to give each pet their best individualized care.
“She was very attentive, and she worked with what my dog needed. My dog didn’t really wanna leave the apt so she sat with her inside and gave her some love, she didn’t have to do that! She is great ! Thank you”

“My dog, Red, loves Aubrey! She is reliable and genuinely passionate about animal care. She provides pictures and details of their walks - and she always has something sweet to say about my Red! I highly reccomend her services to anyone.”
“Abriana is fantastic, very patient. Abriana took as much time as my guy Otis needed to get comfortable. It worked :). Otis, who is extremely skittish, warmed up and even sat on Abriana’s lap!!!! Thank you, Abriana!!!”

“Hillary was outstanding! Our dog Zach can be a real handful and Hillary managed him beautifully. I loved the photos she texted to me during their walks. I knew she was taking good care of him, which gave me peace of mind while I was away.”

“Morgan was wonderful! She is an excellent communicator and very authentic in her care for Izzy. She sent great updates and photos. We will certainly use her in the future to care for our fur child.”

About: I have taken care of both puppies and adult dogs. I have a flexible schedule and can drop by more than once daily if needed! I’m retired and have an open schedule. I can do multiple visits daily if needed. I also have the flexibility to do longer visits if needed to provide socialization and comfort for your pet! I don’t have the ability to care for pets in my home, but I’m available to go to my clients’ homes as frequently as needed. My policy is to be very respectful of my client’s space while spending quality time with their pets! I can accomodate any special needs and I follow instructions well!
About: I grew up with 4+ dogs so I’ve seen it all. I’ve taken care of a lot of old dogs and quite a few rambunctious pups. I’m here for your pups needs <3 I’m only working part time and have school so I spend a lot of time at home on the computer. I’m good at waking up early and I like to tucker the pups out before I log into school. I enjoy keeping a clean area throughout the day and depending on your pups needs from couch potatoes to puppy will work with you to come up with a good game plan <3
“Sheila was wonderful! She helped walk two of our dogs while I was away and was great to work with. It gave me real peace of mind knowing they were getting out and cared for. I would absolutely recommend her.”

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My first dog was a Chihuahua who lived to be 18, so I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs and making sure they stay comfortable as they grow older. I've also grown up around horses and farm animals, and I even had a leopard gecko for a couple years. Most of my friends and family have dogs too, so I've spent plenty of time around all kinds of personalities and energy levels. Being around animals has always been something I enjoy! I'm a full time college student, so I have lots of extra time to care for your beloved companions! I have my own transportation and extremely flexible times. I live in an apartment with my Belgian Malinois, so I know firsthand how important exercise, structure, and routine can be, especially for high-energy dogs! I'm very organized and always do my best to stick to each pet's normal schedule so they feel comfortable and at home.

About: Along with my babysitting jobs growing up, I also cared for the fur babies. Everything from bunnies to fish and even turtles. I will always take special requests and read any details to make sure I give the furbabies the upmost care I can provide. I don't have experience specifically with special needs animals, but I will take my time to make sure I meet all their needs. Ive raised multiple senior pets in my own home. I will give the furbabies no matter what stage of life their in. I will water plants, give medicine and provide any grooming needs. If supplies are provided, I will clean up any messes. Ive recently had some medical issues keeping me from working my normal 9-5. Im the second income in the household, so this will be apart of my new full time work, working for myself. Taking care of pets is all dependent on them. Whatever care they need, I will provide. Im definitely a crazy cat lady and I won't hear a single word of a conversation if im petting a dog. All animals deserve what makes them thrive. I will probably give too many treats for the adorable faces.

About: Hello! I am a pet lover who grew up with Boston terriers from ages 10-12 (20+). I also grew up working with dogs (Border Collies) on ranches, working side by side on various tasks. Because of my experience and comfort with dogs, I have been dog-sitting for friends and family my whole life. I have some experience caring for cats, including my sisters' and friends' cats (5+ years). I am very active and can exercise or entertain your pet with play or runs. I have rarley met a dog that I wasn't able to build trust with. I am a graduate student whose internship starts on the 27th of July. So I have complete availability then. Outside of that, I am typically free after 5 pm on weekdays and completely free on weekends. I ensure to follow all the rules the pet owner has established. I will use commands and language the dog is familiar with to avoid confusion. I make sure the pets are exercised 2-3 times a day. Cleaned and brushed if needed. I am mindful of water intake and make sure that all pets are kept on their usual schedule.
“Marta has been great to communicate with and was able to give my dog the walk she needed on short notice! I came home to a happy, chill, well-exercised pup and it felt awesome : ) thanks Marta!!”

I am very knowledgeable when it comes to the dos and don'ts regarding taking care of pups & cats. I've also fostered dogs in the past and have volunteered at PACC on a few occasions. Also, I am an active volunteer at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. I work M-F and am off by 5pm everyday. My schedule is pretty flexible. I can make visits during my lunch hour if needed. I will make sure to attend to your pet(s) and make them my top priority while they are in my care. I will do my absolute best to make sure your fur baby feels loved and taken care! About: I've had pets since I was a baby. My mother had a little wading pool and she used to put our pet ducklings in the water to swim with me. When I was five, I started bringing home injured animals. I've worked with everything from skunks to raptors to more common animals like dogs, cats, and horses. When I got old enough, I started volunteering for different rescue organizations. I will walk your pet frequently and give lots of cuddles. Pets are our children and soulmates. They teach us how we should be--they are angels that inhabit the earth for a short time. For important details: I only work with one client at a time so that I can supervise and care properly for your pet. I work remotely from home for a governmental organization, so I am home and available. My backyard has a 6 foot wall but no pet is left unsupervised. I do not smoke or allow others in the house when I am boarding a dog, as you do not know that person. I treat all my clients and their pets the way I’d want to be treated. As I said, I work remotely, so I am home with my dog during the day. We go to coffeehouses together to work sometimes and have plenty of playtime in the yard. She gets a really long walk at sunrise and has little ones throughout the day as well. Her happiness is my priority. I make sure she goes to her vet regularly and gets groomed, so that she can be healthy and feel her best. I have a large, walled backyard garden full of lots of places for a pet to sniff, yet it’s safe enough for them to explore. My dog does not go out there unsupervised. At sunset to night, I walk her on the leash back there to ensure predators don’t find her. She is a member of my family, and has her own special places and pillows to make her feel safe and comfortable.

I have a flexible schedule that allows me to adjust to do what I truly love, caring for pets. I'm happy to stay in your home with your pet which helps reduce the anxiety they often experience when you leave. If you prefer me to stop by daily instead, that is also an option.

“Gail is a dog whisperer. She is lovely, my sometimes very shy dog was in heaven with Gail. Her home is lovely too with a very safe yard for furry friends to stay safe. I will go back.”

“My dog Kora loves staying with Courtney and her family - she comes back rejuvenated and happy. Courtney is always top on my list for boarding. Great communication, flexibility, and very caring. 10/10.”

“Christina and Daniel were great with our two pups! Our Bishon and ShihTzu were well taken care of, and got lots of play time with their little boys and 2 Doodles! Even though our ShihTzu was out of his element, and was a bit naughty, they handled it with lots of grace and patience! We would recommend them for dogs that are used to a busy family, little kids and playful Doodles!! ❤️”

“Andreah went above and beyond to keep us updated throughout our trip with daily updates and took the best care of Louie. I would highly recommend Andreah’s services and will definitely be using her again.”

“Boo is a repeat customer with Regina and really enjoys her time there! I have peace of mind knowing my dog is being loved and taken care of the same way I do!!! Thanks Regina!”

“Cathleen was a lifesaver as our old dog watcher was no longer in the business. Cathleen was very friendly and responsive to our request to watch our dog while we went out of state on vacation for several days. She kept us in the loop on how he was doing while we were gone and even sent us a few pictures. She took good care of our Bear and we will definitely call upon her services again in the future!”

“David and Becki welcomed my golden retriever Hope into their home with no hesitation at all. It was clear within the first five minutes of our visit that she would be happy and well cared for with them. She looked great when I picked her up. I will definitely be taking her back.”

“Brittani took good care of my pup over a 3 day weekend and I feel so grateful he was in good hands. He got lots of exercise, played with her sweet dogs and was very happy. Thank you Brittani! We’ll be back when we need help again!!”

“Our big boy had a wonderful stay with Jennifer. It is clear how much she loves dogs and they love her back! I would have complete confidence booking with her again in the future!”

“I have had horrible experiences with sitters on this app. These people are hands down the best sitters on this app. If you are looking for sitters who care about you and your puppy, who know how to handle dogs and take care of them, who always listen, and who are very responsive with pictures and show you how much fun your dogs having. These sitters are for you! They even have separate yards for dogs that are smaller or if you prefer your dog to be alone. They are incredible!”

“We have never used Rover before, but Miriam was wonderful. She took in our 2 dogs as if they were hers. She played with the guys and worked with them to get them to eat (which is no small chore with our guys). She has a wonderful house with a great back yard and our dogs made themselves at home. She sent us pictures and video's of the guys while we were on vacation and shared how they were progressing. It is obvious that she loves dogs and I would not hesitate to book her again if we went out of town. She went above and beyond in her caring for the dogs.”
