Just before her stay, she started experiencing incontinence, which, though treated, was not yet under control during her stay with Darlene. Poor Darlene had to use her mop quite a bit, and despite the burden, she treated Rosie so gently and sweetly. Even though having accidents normally stresses Rosie out, she was very content at Darlene's. She was given a lot of love, a healthy amount of treats, and plenty of outside and playtime with Darlene's little pom, Foxi. We were able to relax knowing that Rosie was in great hands. We're big fans of Darlene. Will book again, if she'll have us.”

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!
About: My whole life has been around animals including 2-3 dogs in my household, caring for a guinea pig, and loving on my friends’ cats. About: I’ve walked dogs for multiple families in my neighborhood as well as taken care of multiple cats while there family was away. I have also house-sat with a special needs dog which required me to spend the night. I am a student at the University of Arizona, but my schedule is pretty light so dog walking/house-sitting will be able to easily fit into my schedule I am currently in a dorm so boarding is not available, but I will happily take dogs on walks or watch the house to take care of any pets.

Gina sent pictures throughout Hazel’s stay and kept us updated. She took her to the dog park and on car rides which is perfect for Hazel who is high energy! She was also very flexible with meet and greet and pick up/drop off times as our schedule requires a later time. Would definitely book again!”
