About: I have taken care of both puppies and adult dogs. I have a flexible schedule and can drop by more than once daily if needed! I’m retired and have an open schedule. I can do multiple visits daily if needed. I also have the flexibility to do longer visits if needed to provide socialization and comfort for your pet! I don’t have the ability to care for pets in my home, but I’m available to go to my clients’ homes as frequently as needed. My policy is to be very respectful of my client’s space while spending quality time with their pets! I can accomodate any special needs and I follow instructions well!
About: I grew up in Florida surrounded by reptiles of all kinds, lots and lots of dogs, a couple cats, and other assorted pawed and clawed friends. I've had dogs in my family since I was a little kid. I have a particular soft spot for small dogs and grumpy elderly dogs who just want to relax. I currently have an anxious dog, a cat, 3 tarantulas (curly hair, desert blonde, red rosehair), a ball/royal python, a grumpy leopard gecko, a flock of quails, and colonies of mealworms and dubia roaches 🐛 Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns! I'm flexible :) I'm a UoA student looking for some supplemental income. I have access to a car, and am otherwise unemployed. Family-quality pet care is part of my daily routine since I have a small zoo of my own babies. I like to be particularly attentive to pets' body language and cues. It's fun for me to figure out what critters do and don't like, so I can pamper them accordingly. I also like to keep an eye out for any issues that may be preventive or easily missed - it can take a village for dogs too!
About: I’ve always been that person who helps out with family pets just because I love taking care of them. A few years ago, I finally got a dog of my own, and that’s when I really got into training—learning how to communicate with her, build routines, and understand how she thinks. Now, I bring that same care and attention to every pet I watch, making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I am a college student with a flexible schedule. This means i can adjust my availability based on your pets' needs, whether it's check-ins throughout the day or last minute help. I do not do stays in my own home at the moment as my dog is not always good with other dogs/animals, but I am able to make it out to you to do care in your own home. I learn quickly, and i use this to my advantage as i learn to give each pet their best individualized care.
About: Hello, I was raised with every pet from dogs to snakes. While I am new using Rover, I have done pet sitting all throughout my adult life. I love all animals and hope to spend time with yours! I have taken care of cats my whole life but have spent the past few years in school for law and showing dogs professionally. This comes with experience in whelping litters, emergency and primary vet care, transport, nutrition, conditioning/exercise, training, cleaning and general care for dogs. I also have fostered for many years in both California and Arizona which comes with experience in temperament evaluation and training, medications, quarantining pets when necessary and working with very young and very old animals. While I have a lot of experience in taking care of pets, I respect that everyone has a right to do it differently, and keep an open mind in how to care for pets. I always follow directions from the owner even if they conflict with how I take care of my own pets as long as it is not directly harming the pet. I am currently on a year long break between undergraduate and law school, so I have plenty of time to care for your pet(s) and drop by as needed. I always prioritize the pet's happiness and wellbeing. While I love interacting with cats, I am also totally understanding if there is a cat that wants space. I also am aware from prior pet sitting experience that sometimes a pet can behave differently when their owners are not home, so I try to take every precaution when it comes to their safety. I am aware of the foods and plants that are harmful as well as what a cat can safely play with. I also know how to properly clean and sanitize messes that a pet can make such as urine, feces and vomit. I have worked with raw pet food so am well versed in how to minimize contamination. I also have strict sanitation procedures from my dog showing days that I always follow between handling different pets. I also always carry with me a basic vet care bag and am able to treat light burns, small cuts and flush out eyes if need be. In the case however that any medical assistance may be necessary, I always check with the owner beforehand with what they want me to do.
“Morgan was wonderful! She is an excellent communicator and very authentic in her care for Izzy. She sent great updates and photos. We will certainly use her in the future to care for our fur child.”

“Mikayla is very reliable and professional. Luke has enjoyed his long walks. It usually takes a few walks for him to relax with a new person walking him but he seems to have taken a quick liking to Mikayla!”

“Taylor is really kind and prompt, as well as flexible. She went above and beyond and I was really comfortable being away knowing she was taking care of our pup. Highly recommend!!”

“She’s amazing! A huge life saver able to do a half hour cat check in and dog walks last minute after I hurt my foot. Sarah is absolutely wonderful with animals, her genuine passion and love shows in everything she does. I’d recommend her to anyone and will be using her services again!”

“Sasha was such a wonderful dog walker and sitter for my dog Pepper! She was always on time, very communicative, and made sure to keep me updated on Pepper whenever she was in her care. I never had to worry about Pepper when Sasha was taking care of her. I will definitely be using her again and I can’t recommend her enough to take care of your dog!”

About: I am a student at The University of Arizona, studying Veterinary Science. Animals have always been a significant part of my life. I have owned dogs, fish, guinea pigs, and cats. I have experience dog/house sitting, and I often help my family and friends with their pets. I work part-time at the Tucson Wildlife Center (Weekends) and am constantly taking care of animals. I am a full-time student at the University of Arizona. I am taking 13 units in the Fall, and so I will have some time outside of school to care for your pets. I have no class on Mondays. I will be great company for your pet. I will keep them entertained, and give them lots of pets and attention. I am constantly surrounded by animals and can assure you your furry friends are in great hands.
About: I'm a lover of every animal I've ever met, with a background in pediatrics, medication administration, foster animal care, neo-natal pet care, first aid and pet/house sitting. I've personally had cats and dogs since I was very young, other small animals as pets as an adult (rats, chickens, goats) and have spent much of my life caring for the pets of friends and loved ones when I couldn't have pets of my own. I love to provide training for young kittens and pups, and have a special love for elderly and special needs animals. We are new to Tucson and hoping to meet and care for as many animals as possible! I am a consultant who works remotely and also own a home in Tucson, complete with my own pets. As such, I have a strict policy of honoring my clients' trust and delivering the quality of care that I would hope for our own home and loved ones. I'm a consultant with a very flexible, remote schedule. I can easily adapt my meeting and work schedule around the needs of pets and others. I like to have conversations about what will make families and clients most at ease at the beginning of our time working together, and then follow through to make sure trust is built quickly and deeply. This can include following special protocols, providing lots of photos and videos, and calling or texting immediately if something arises that I don't yet know the answer to, such as how to help an animal through a surprise stressful situation or where a favorite toy might be hiding. I am engaged and attentive and learn animals' boundaries and interests quickly and easily.
“Stephanie was very responsive and did a great job of updating me during and after my dog’s walks. She was super kind and friendly and does so well with dogs, Quill loved her! I would definitely book with her again.”

El Cortez dog parents share their Rover experiences
Makenna was great with my dog Bodhi! He needed some extra walks during the day while I was away on a last-minute work trip, and she made sure that he was well exercised and cared for by the time my partner got home. So grateful for her attentiveness and flexibility!

Oliver is great! His availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays works perfectly with my schedule at work. Very reliable and easy going, a critical thinker and able to anticipate a pet's needs. Both my late senior (RIP) and young foster took to him easily. Will book again!

Parker took excellent care of Baloo during drop-in visits. He did a great job of following my list of pretty extensive instructions, and spent extra time keeping my anxious boy company. I received daily photos of a happy dog! I will not hesitate to book with Parker and Alysa again.
