I’ve dog sat for friends and family for 10 years. I have a dog and a ‘spicy’ cat and I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life. When I walk into a room, I’ve been known to say hi to the dogs in the room first before the people. I understand dog body language, and I know that they’re all individuals. I also understand that each owner has their own way of doing things, and I’m conciencious of following your rules and routines, because you know what’s best for your animals. I truly enjoy getting to meet new animals and getting to know their personalities. I also enjoy being able to help owners have the best for their pets. Having a pet is a huge responsibility, and I know from personal experience sometimes it feels like you have to choose between being a good pet parent and having a life. But it’s possible to do both, and I’m here to help!

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for your pets in your home, I will follow your directions. In previous roles, I have stopped to care for pets every couple days, once a day, or twice a day, depending on what was requested. I am happy to fill food bowls as necessary or feed specific quantities of food at specific times. I also don’t mind cleaning litter boxes or ensuring automatic litter boxes are operating properly. I am also happy to clean up pet messes they may leave behind, such as tracking litter, spilling food, or potty accidents.

Teresita is so kind and wonderful both as a human and dog walker! :) My dog instantly fell in love with her. She is quick to respond, great with my dog, and clearly communicates with you to see if your pet needs anything extra while she’s there. I highly recommend her, you won’t regret it

Schedule
Currently my schedule is wide open. I recently graduated, and while I am looking for a job, I have lots of time to care for your pets, whether that be checking on them in your home or taking your dog for a walk. Some weekends I have to travel to Phoenix, but if I am in Tucson, I am happy to care for your pets on the weekends and week days. I keep my calendar updated so make sure to check that out!
