“Morgan has been such a wonderful addition to Crosby’s ‘inner circle’ ☺️ From the very first meeting he took right to her and I can’t tell you how much peace it brings me knowing she is checking on my fur kid during the day. Both days I have come home from work to a happy and calm boy. Morgan is professional, organized, prompt and she has great energy. Thank you for being the best walker and for the incredible care you provide Crosby! ❤️”

“My dog is wary of new people and new things, but she took to Thomas right away. Thomas has given her a variety of experiences and activities to spice up her day, and she always comes home happy and ready to relax for a while.”

“Logan was great! I have three dogs who can be a handful and a large dog who gets nervous around new people, but Logan handled them so well and my dogs all came back happy and tired.”

“Cara was excellent with my dog! From the meet and greet, my dog immediately felt comfortable with her. She was very easy to talk to and give instructions to. It was great knowing my dog would be in good hands. Will definitely be using her services again!”

“When I first started looking for a dog walker I messaged 4 people on the Rover app, we were out of town and delayed a day from coming home. So this was the last minute need help with her dog situation. Sasha was the only person that was available. 2 were unavailable which we understood and one did not get back to us. Sasha was on time, and came in as a new person to our blue nose pitbull, our cameras showed us how kind and caring Sasha was to our dog. She took a moment to let Ryder get to know her instead of rushing out to just get him walked. She talked to him kindly and made him feel comfortable with a new person in his house and getting ready to walk him. They had a great walk. She responded to us right away and even took a little extra time to make sure that he got the walk he needed which we really appreciated. I would definitely pick her again to help us out in the future and i'm very thankful, she was available. Thanks Sasha! This was our first using the Rover app and it is much better easiest and cheaper than the Wag dog walker app. I was much happier with Rover.”

About: I have taken care of both puppies and adult dogs. I have a flexible schedule and can drop by more than once daily if needed! I’m retired and have an open schedule. I can do multiple visits daily if needed. I also have the flexibility to do longer visits if needed to provide socialization and comfort for your pet! I don’t have the ability to care for pets in my home, but I’m available to go to my clients’ homes as frequently as needed. My policy is to be very respectful of my client’s space while spending quality time with their pets! I can accomodate any special needs and I follow instructions well!
About: I've worked in a veterinary clinic and animal hospital and have volunteer experience with PACC and the Humane Society. I feel comfortable around animals and certain I can provide great care! Though I did not grow up with childhood dogs I came to love them through my work. My time at a veterinary clinic and at PACC gave me the chance to connect with dogs and understand how smart, silly, and loyal they can be. I have no dogs of my own but am fond of everyone's! I grew up surrounded by cats and they have a special place in my heart. I have personal experience with elderly cats and giving oral medication. I am currently working part time at a book store. I accept some same-day requests and have a fairly flexible schedule. When I'm not working I live an active and social lifestyle, which pet care fits into well! I appreciate having a doggy friend on a walk and spending time around animals makes any day better. Although I cannot have animals in my own home I can take great care of them and other people's houses. I am safety and security focused and will always lock the door, double check surroundings, and leave everything tidy.
“Taylor is very punctual, communicative, shares cute pictures of our pups, and is super sweet and patient with our two chihuahuas. We highly recommend Taylor!”

“Abriana is fantastic, very patient. Abriana took as much time as my guy Otis needed to get comfortable. It worked :). Otis, who is extremely skittish, warmed up and even sat on Abriana’s lap!!!! Thank you, Abriana!!!”

About: I grew up in Florida surrounded by reptiles of all kinds, lots and lots of dogs, a couple cats, and other assorted pawed and clawed friends. I've had dogs in my family since I was a little kid. I have a particular soft spot for small dogs and grumpy elderly dogs who just want to relax. I currently have an anxious dog, a cat, 3 tarantulas (curly hair, desert blonde, red rosehair), a ball/royal python, a grumpy leopard gecko, a flock of quails, and colonies of mealworms and dubia roaches 🐛 Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns! I'm flexible :) I'm a UoA student looking for some supplemental income. I have access to a car, and am otherwise unemployed. Family-quality pet care is part of my daily routine since I have a small zoo of my own babies. I like to be particularly attentive to pets' body language and cues. It's fun for me to figure out what critters do and don't like, so I can pamper them accordingly. I also like to keep an eye out for any issues that may be preventive or easily missed - it can take a village for dogs too!
“Ally is very responsive and considerate. She helped with walks and check-ins for us for a few months and was a great help! She is always really good at communicating and willing to accommodate schedule/time changes as needed.”

“She’s amazing! A huge life saver able to do a half hour cat check in and dog walks last minute after I hurt my foot. Sarah is absolutely wonderful with animals, her genuine passion and love shows in everything she does. I’d recommend her to anyone and will be using her services again!”

About: I bring a unique blend of experience to pet care. I’ve worked as a professional dog trainer, helping dogs learn structure, manners, and confidence through positive reinforcement. Beyond training, I’ve gained hands-on skills in pet sitting, walking, and handling dogs of all temperaments and energy levels. Outside of pets, I’ve built strong skills in landscaping, carpentry, and communication—all of which reflect my reliability, hard work, and attention to detail. I take pride in being consistent, trustworthy, and enthusiastic in everything I do. Most importantly, I understand the responsibility of caring for both beloved pets and a home, and I approach each job with respect and dedication. Hi, I’m Jacob! I combine the heart of a caring sitter with the skills of a trainer to make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and understood. My philosophy is built on love, structure, and trust—whether it’s daily walks, training sessions, or simply keeping your pup company, I bring reliability and calm leadership to every moment. With experience in dog training, hard work, and great communication, I’m here to give your best friend not just care, but confidence and joy. When I’m caring for your pets, I treat them like my own—making sure they’re safe, loved, exercised, and kept on their routine so they feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s training, playtime, walks, or quiet companionship, I provide the right balance of structure and affection. I also respect your home and property as if it were mine. That means keeping things tidy, following your instructions closely, and ensuring everything is well cared for while you’re gone. From watering plants to keeping doors locked and routines consistent, you can trust me to look after both your pets and your home with reliability and respect.
About: I should be your sitter because I have both professional animal care experience and personal experience caring for pets with special needs. I’ve worked at a boarding facility and volunteered with the Arizona Humane Society, but I’ve also cared for my own diabetic dog, giving insulin and managing his routine. I’m comfortable with puppies, seniors, and pets that need extra patience or medical care, and I’ll treat every animal like family. Pet care is something I’m genuinely passionate about, and I make time for it because it’s both rewarding and a nice break from my busy college schedule. As a student at the University of Arizona, I balance classes with plenty of flexibility for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. Spending time with animals helps me de-stress from school, and I truly enjoy every opportunity I get to care for pets and give them the love and attention they deserve. I always follow a pet’s normal routine to keep them safe and comfortable. In a client’s home, I double-check doors and gates, stick to feeding and walk schedules, and give regular updates so you know your pets are happy. My goal is to make sure they feel loved, secure, and cared for while you’re away.
About: I grew up with two different dogs (80lb and 30lb) and walking them was one of my favorite things and brought me the greatest joy. I recently watched a friends 80lb dog for ten days and we had the best time:) My love for cats has grown over the years, as many college students have them. There’s nothing sweeter than sitting on the couch and the sweetest cat snuggling up against you. As a graduate student, I have flexibility with my schedule to accommodate the needs of your dog! Whether it’s multiple walks, peculiar hours, or last minute care. I’m extremely clean and respectful. I dog proofed my house every day as a teenager and have a massive attention to detail. No accidents here!
Balboa Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Oliver is great! His availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays works perfectly with my schedule at work. Very reliable and easy going, a critical thinker and able to anticipate a pet's needs. Both my late senior (RIP) and young foster took to him easily. Will book again!

Chloe was absolutely amazing with our two dogs! They took to her right away—which is rare for them—and it was clear she genuinely cared for them like they were her own. She has excellent communication, a warm personality, and is a natural with animals. If we could give her 10 out of 5 stars, we would! Highly recommend!

Kayla was such a great and reliable dog walker for my dog Chief!! She stepped in when another walker didn’t show up. She was very good at communicating, and she always made sure my dog didn’t miss any of his meals. She also sent updates and pictures which were very much appreciated. I will definitely hire her again and encourage others to do so as well.

Julie is an outstanding dogsitter. First, our dogs loved her at first meeting. She genuinely cares about dogs She is conscientious, organized, detail-oriented, reads and follows notes. She is an excellent communicator and takes keeper photos too. I don’t worry about our dogs at all when she is caring for them. I highly recommend Julie…so happy we found her.

Sydney is a wonderful, responsible and most capable dog walker. She arrived every day exactly on time and I felt most confident in entrusting her with the care of my dog. Her experience with animals was immediately evident and her help was total relief. I am most grateful to Sydney and to Rover for providing such fine service!
