I am a college student so I don’t have a job right now and I am just looking for a side hustle. My schedule isn’t packed with classes so I have free time to take care of your pets! I have a dog at home and he is so spoiled and loved. I will make sure your dogs feel the same way. I treat him like he’s a human child 😂

I am very responsive during my time of care if you are needing to communicate in any manner!
“Took great care with our dog, Bella. It took no time at all for Bella to warm to Logan & get excited to see Logan arrive each day for her walks. Would recommend and use Logan as a dog walker. Good communication about arrival times too, that helped me get Bella ready for her walk ahead of time. Thank you Logan from both Bella & myself.”

“Ava has been professional, dependable, and genuinely caring. She’s always punctual, communicative, and detail oriented, and I truly appreciate the photos and updates that give me peace of mind while I’m away.”

About: Growing up, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals, from reptiles like my corn snake, African egg-eater, tarantulas, and turtles to more traditional pets including dogs, bunnies, cats, and birds. My experience goes beyond basic care—I’ve spent many summers volunteering at my local animal shelter, walking dogs and even reading to animals to help them feel calm and socialized. I’ve also trained pets at a professional level, focusing on basic obedience commands and positive reinforcement techniques. My lifelong passion for animals has given me the confidence, patience, and hands-on experience to provide loving, knowledgeable care for pets of all kinds. I offer open and flexible availability, allowing me to fully commit to the pets and families I work with. Because I don’t have small children at home, I’m able to dedicate my time, attention, and energy to providing consistent, dependable care. Whether you need daytime visits, overnight stays, or last-minute help, I strive to be reliable and accommodating. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pets are my priority and in caring, committed hands. It’s incredibly important to me that each and every pet is treated with the utmost care, patience, and love — just as if they were my own babies. I understand that when mom and dad are away, it can sometimes cause anxiety or stress for our furry family members. That’s why I focus on creating a calm, comforting environment filled with positive distractions like playtime, engaging walks, and gentle interaction. I use a soothing voice, offer reassuring companionship, and of course provide plenty of pets and affection (if they’re comfortable with that!). My goal is to make them feel safe, secure, and genuinely cared for until you return home. 🐾💕
“She’s amazing! A huge life saver able to do a half hour cat check in and dog walks last minute after I hurt my foot. Sarah is absolutely wonderful with animals, her genuine passion and love shows in everything she does. I’d recommend her to anyone and will be using her services again!”

About: I’ve taken care of my dog, a Boston terrier for ten years, and I also have been walking my neighbor’s dog whenever they needed me to for the past five years. I’ve taught my dog commands such as sit, lay down, and high five. I am currently home for the summer from college, so I am looking forward to spending a lot of time taking care of pets. I have a very flexible schedule, so pet care aligns well with my lifestyle. In my home, I feed my dog, take him on walks, give him baths, play with him, and clean his paws and ears. For dogs that I dog watch, I either let them out into the yard (if it’s a closed yard and the owner prefers that) or take them on walks, and also feed them.

About: I’ve walked dogs for multiple families in my neighborhood as well as taken care of multiple cats while there family was away. I have also house-sat with a special needs dog which required me to spend the night. I am a student at the University of Arizona, but my schedule is pretty light so dog walking/house-sitting will be able to easily fit into my schedule I am currently in a dorm so boarding is not available, but I will happily take dogs on walks or watch the house to take care of any pets.
About: Growing up with dogs my whole life, I’ve had countless years of hands-on experience in addition to fostering with local shelters including young puppies, mama dogs with litters, and large-breed dogs. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities, and I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training, maintaining routines, and providing senior care. While I am currently doing in-home sitting due to having a cat of my own, I’m very happy to do long walks or other enrichment outings to make sure dogs get plenty of physical activity and mental stimulation. I take pride in being calm, attentive, and genuinely invested in every pet’s well-being. As a college student wrapping up my degree and currently taking just one class, I’m blessed with a very flexible schedule. I have plenty of availability during weekdays and weekends, and have a spacious SUV that comfortably fits crates and dogs of all sizes, so getting to and from visits, walks, dog parks, hikes, or in-home sitting is never an issue. I’m able to plan my day around pets’ routines, whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or longer visits for extra attention and exercise. I prefer to provide all of my pet care in home so they can stay comfortable in their own familiar environment. I closely follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special instructions. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise through walks, playtime, and enrichment, and I’m happy to do longer walks for higher-energy dogs. I also use Rover myself, so I truly understand the trust it takes to have someone care for your pet and be in your home. I treat every animal with the same respect, attentiveness, and care that I expect for my own cat. Cleanliness, safety, clear communication, and genuine love for each pet are always my top priorities.
About: With over 9 years of hands-on experience caring for and training my own dogs, I bring a compassionate understanding of a pet’s needs to every dog I care for. The care I have given to my pets has included everything from raising high-energy pups to providing loving support for my senior dog through his later years, and rehabilitating an abused dog with severe behavioral challenges. These experiences have taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of individualized care. I’m passionate about giving dogs not just attention, but purposeful engagement—whether that means a long walk, playtime, or a calm moment to build trust. I’m full of energy and committed to making sure your dog gets the right amount of exercise and stimulation that they need. Whether your pup needs a running partner, a gentle companion, or someone who understands more complex behaviors, I’ve got the experience and heart to provide top-quality care. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. I can’t wait to meet your pup and become someone you and your pet can rely on! I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for walks and drop-ins mornings, afternoons, and some evenings. I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit your pup’s needs best. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is for pets to feel secure in their daily routines, and I will take every precaution to create a calm and positive environment during each visit. I have experience caring for senior dogs who need extra support, as well as dogs with behavioral challenges who benefit from a calm, understanding approach. I will follow your care instructions closely and treat every dog as if they were my own.
“Emma is absolutely wonderful to work with. She took the time to get to know our shy and goofy dog and was easily able to gain his trust and make him feel comfortable. Would highly recommended booking her for any pet care needs.”

About: I grew up in Florida surrounded by reptiles of all kinds, lots and lots of dogs, a couple cats, and other assorted pawed and clawed friends. I've had dogs in my family since I was a little kid. I have a particular soft spot for small dogs and grumpy elderly dogs who just want to relax. I currently have an anxious dog, a cat, 3 tarantulas (curly hair, desert blonde, red rosehair), a ball/royal python, a grumpy leopard gecko, a flock of quails, and colonies of mealworms and dubia roaches 🐛 Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns! I'm flexible :) I'm a UoA student looking for some supplemental income. I have access to a car, and am otherwise unemployed. Family-quality pet care is part of my daily routine since I have a small zoo of my own babies. I like to be particularly attentive to pets' body language and cues. It's fun for me to figure out what critters do and don't like, so I can pamper them accordingly. I also like to keep an eye out for any issues that may be preventive or easily missed - it can take a village for dogs too!
About: I grew up with two different dogs (80lb and 30lb) and walking them was one of my favorite things and brought me the greatest joy. I recently watched a friends 80lb dog for ten days and we had the best time:) My love for cats has grown over the years, as many college students have them. There’s nothing sweeter than sitting on the couch and the sweetest cat snuggling up against you. As a graduate student, I have flexibility with my schedule to accommodate the needs of your dog! Whether it’s multiple walks, peculiar hours, or last minute care. I’m extremely clean and respectful. I dog proofed my house every day as a teenager and have a massive attention to detail. No accidents here!
About: Experienced animal caregiver skilled in grooming, special needs pets, daycare work, fostering, puppy deliveries, homemade treats, and providing loving, active care for all breeds and ages. As a college student with a flexible schedule and plenty of free time, I’m highly available, dependable, and ready to provide consistent, attentive pet care. As a college student and lifelong animal lover, I follow routines, provide exercise, maintain cleanliness, and give attentive, loving care tailored to each pet’s needs.
About: I've worked at an animal clinic throughout high school and again during college breaks, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs & cats of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I'm comfortable with feeding, walking, giving medications, and providing lots of love and attention. Outside of work, I've grown up with animals in my household. I have 4 dogs that I truly enjoy spending time with, whether it's playtime, walks, or simply keeping them company. I'm currently a college student at the University of Arizona so pet care seems to be the ideal thing for me to do and fits perfectly with the flexibility. Although Caring for animals is not just a side job to me but it's also part of my long-term goal of becoming a veterinarian. This helps me from my behalf around classes and I enjoy making time everyday to work with animals. Because I live in a dorm that doesn't allow pets, I provide care directly in my clients' homes. This allows pets to stay comfortable in their own environment while I handle feeding, walks, playtime, litter or potty breaks, and any other routines they're used to. I'm also available for drop- in visits(after classes or before) or longer in- home stays( just let me know ahead of time), depending on what your pets need.
“Taylor is really kind and prompt, as well as flexible. She went above and beyond and I was really comfortable being away knowing she was taking care of our pup. Highly recommend!!”

About: As an Approved Veterinary Assistant, I have been able to take care of not only dogs but cats as well both inside and outside of the clinic. I was taught by licensed veterinary technicians who have a strong passion for helping animals. I am also in school getting my bachelors degree in animal science so I am actively learning new skills that would benefit your pet. Although I am a full time student, I altered my schedule this semester so that I provide your pet with all of their needs. I have a pretty free schedule when it comes to classes and even have two off days from classes! I love to play with pets and keep them entertained while their owners are away as well as making sure they get lots of love and attention. While I was in school to become certified, I was required to provide pets with enrichment daily which I would implement while caring for your pet.
West University dog parents share their Rover experiences
Stephanie has been such a blessing to our home. She has a real sense for dogs, how to relate to them and how to work with them. My little guy has a fearful bent and his response to fight or flight is to fight. This did not intimidate Stephanie as it does many sitters and she was able to work with him right from the meet and greet. They quickly bonded and she’s just been amazing! She’s definitely a keeper!

Makenna was great with my dog Bodhi! He needed some extra walks during the day while I was away on a last-minute work trip, and she made sure that he was well exercised and cared for by the time my partner got home. So grateful for her attentiveness and flexibility!

Oliver is great! His availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays works perfectly with my schedule at work. Very reliable and easy going, a critical thinker and able to anticipate a pet's needs. Both my late senior (RIP) and young foster took to him easily. Will book again!

Parker took excellent care of Baloo during drop-in visits. He did a great job of following my list of pretty extensive instructions, and spent extra time keeping my anxious boy company. I received daily photos of a happy dog! I will not hesitate to book with Parker and Alysa again.
