“Exceptional! Carly is a shy dog with others but because Sheila and David are such "dog people", they sent pics every day of Carly, peacefully laying on their laps! This was the first time ever boarding Carly and she is not used to having other dogs around her but, their own dogs, Mellow and Jaxon were well behaved and welcomed Carly. Mellow even shared his crate with Carly when she wanted a quiet place of "her own". The daily texts and pics were fun and welcome. Their home is perfectly set up for boarding multiple dogs if needed. The outdoor spaces are perfect! Plenty of shade and spacious enough to lounge or run around. I can't recommend Shiela and David more highly. If it is your first time boarding your fur-baby, and you are nervous about it, choose Shiela and David. You can rest assured that your baby, even a baby as shy as Carly, is well cared for with Shiela and David.”

About: I have hands-on experience fostering rescue dogs for the past two years—especially puppies. I’ve helped rehabilitate malnourished, abandoned dogs and guided them into loving forever homes. My own dog is a foster fail I nursed back to health at just 2 months old after she was found on the street. Since then, I’ve fostered an entire litter of five puppies, all of whom were successfully adopted. About: I've had animals all my life, they've been a constant joy. I've worked with animals in a professional setting, as an assistant to a Professional Dog Trainer. While working with a Dog Trainer, I've interacted with many different types of animals (even their temperaments at times) such as different dog breeds and sizes, as well as cats. About: I have walked, fed, bathed, and taken care of dogs of all different breeds and ages. I have enjoyed all my experiences from short walks to sitting for several weeks! About: I’ve dog sat for my family for extended periods of time (3 weeks to over a month at a time), watching multiple dogs of varying sizes. I also have experience watching friends dogs, including a senior dog who needs around the clock care. I’m currently unemployed, which means I have plenty of availability and can make watching your precious babies my main priority. Any day and time works for me, just as long as it doesn’t conflict with any appointments or other responsibilities that I may have. Afternoons and evenings are preferred, but I can make mornings work, too! I can take your dog/dogs out as much as needed when I’m dog sitting, as well as administering medications, crating them at certain times, and keeping them separated while eating if necessary. I will have plenty of time to dedicate to walking them, loving on them, and playing with them. Or if they prefer their space, that’s not a problem at all.

It is clear from the start that Steve is a professional who truly knows what he is doing. He is deeply passionate about animals and treated Oliver as if he were his own, which we appreciate infinitely. He took Oliver to the park and managed his socialization with other dogs perfectly and he always sent pictures, what made me feel so much more comfortable being out of the state and keeping up with pictures every day of my baby; it’s impressive to see how he controls and cares for several pets at once while still providing personalized attention to each one. Oliver was so happy and well-cared for. We are beyond grateful for Steve’s work and his amazing energy. If I could give him a thousand stars, I would! “We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises!
