“Leaving our dogs with someone new is incredibly stressful, especially when you’re going to be gone for an extended period. After a previous boarding experience that clearly wasn’t a good fit for our pups, I promised myself I would find a more personal, home environment the next time we traveled. Ron exceeded every expectation. From the moment we met him, it was clear he genuinely loves dogs. Throughout our entire trip, he sent daily updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Instead of wondering how they were doing, we could actually see they were happy, relaxed, and having fun. Our two Shih Tzus, Hali’a and Fitz, settled in beautifully. They even learned to use the doggie door! They had the opportunity to interact with Ron and his sweet dogs, Lily and Cannoli, and it was obvious they were treated like part of the family instead of being left in a kennel. As pet parents, there’s nothing more valuable than being able to enjoy your vacation knowing your dogs are safe, loved, and well cared for. Ron gave us exactly that. We were so impressed that we’ve already booked with him again. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Ron to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pets as if they were his own. Thank you, Ron, for taking such wonderful care of our babies!”

“Kat took excellent care of my little Reina. I received updates on her quite frequently. Reina was taken on several walks and appeared to get a long well with Kat’s small pups. Thank you for all the care!”

“Ashley is AMAZING! She took the absolute BEST care of my Bluey! Ashley made sure to send videos daily and always checked in with updates about Bluey. If I could give her 10 stars, I would!!!”

“Vicky is amazing! She sent photos and videos daily of my dog and even cleaned his bowls and washed his sweater. I could tell this felt like a vacation to Bean and I appreciated the peace of mind.”

“Sheila and David are wonderful! They’ve been our dog sitters for a few years now and we’re so grateful to have found them! It’s a huge comfort knowing our pups are being loved and well taken care of while we’re away. They always send us sweet messages and pictures too just to let us know how our dogs are doing- it’s an added touch that my husband and I really appreciate.”

“Amazing sitter + family! I have booked with Asia twice now and it’s been a smooth, trusting process everytime. They do have another dog, (which I was nervous about) but Sienna is a sweetheart - her and my dog play very well together. Even when I had a family emergency, she accepted quickly! 10s across the board for Asia!!!”

“Absolutely wonderful and so comforting to know that my little girl is being taken care of while I’m away! She had lots of playtime with dogs and puppies! She is a very social girl and absolutely loves her playtime. Sylvie was phenomenal when it came to open communication and sharing all sorts of videos and pictures during her stay❤️🥰”

“Julie did a wonderful job communicating morning and evening with pictures to show how Jewel was doing. Jewel was often smiling in the pictures and looked like she had such a wonderful time with Julie and her husband.”

“Murphy is no ordinary dog, and has had quite a lot of mal treatment in the past. Barbara made him feel right at home. She truly is a dog whisperer. She even added some calming lavender scent in her home to help soothe him. By the end of the first stay, he was begging for pets and love, which is crazy coming from such a scared doggie. I don’t have enough good things to say about her! Would recommend to anyone and everyone.”

“I was afraid my dog would have separation anxiety and was nervous leaving her, but Gail is amazing! My dog didn't even need her anxiety meds! I got daily updates and pictures of my dog, Huney. I will definitely be using Gail again wherever I go on vacation! Thank you, Gail!”

“Erica is absolutely the best. Rickey felt right at home and was able to socialize and go on walks and get plenty of love. We could not be happier with her stay and can’t wait to have Erica watch her again.”

“This was Sequoia’s second super fun vacay with Daniel who cared for her as if she was his own. She had a blast with him and his dog and fit right in. Daniel’s communication was excellent and gave us complete confidence that Sequoia was in a loving and playful home away from home, which she loved. We recommend Daniel 100%!”

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! Your dog will be in good hands.”

“Regina did a great job taking care of our dog. She sent us many updates and pictures while we were on vacation for 2 weeks. I recommend her to take good care of your furry family member.”

“Cathleen was a lifesaver as our old dog watcher was no longer in the business. Cathleen was very friendly and responsive to our request to watch our dog while we went out of state on vacation for several days. She kept us in the loop on how he was doing while we were gone and even sent us a few pictures. She took good care of our Bear and we will definitely call upon her services again in the future!”

“My first ever time leaving my little Georgie, I felt comfortable knowing that he was in safe and knowledgeable hands. The proximity is a bonus too! I look forward to booking her for future drop ins!”

“This was our first experience using Rover. Carina and Santiago help us and our dog feel very comfortable with the experience. We sent updates while we were away and we knew Marty was well taken care of!”

“Cameron and Tyson are the best! My dogs had the greatest time staying with them and were completely at ease and comfortable in their home. Cameron and Tyson made sure to send me pictures and updates on my pups. We can’t recommend them enough and will certainly be back to stay in the future!”

“I cannot put into words how great Travis has been. My dad was in the hospital and Travis took so much extra care with his cat. The cat was independent and a little skittish, but Travis took time and extra effort to make sure she played and got attention during a stressful time. HIGHLY recommend. A true cat lover and kind person.”

“Sara did an amazing job taking care of our kitties! This was our first time having someone watch them while we were away and Sara made us feel so at ease. Our cats loved her and we received daily pictures and updates. Thank you Sara!!!”

“Logan was wonderful with my fur baby! I came home later than I anticipated, and my cat was still left with plenty of food and water, and she didn’t seem to be too deprived of socialization and affection, something I normally expect from her when I’m gone for longer periods 😆. Logan sent plenty of pics, was great with communication, and responded quickly for booking requests. Looking forward to booking again!! 😊”

“Did a great job dropping in on my kitties! They have a specific feeding routine that requires measuring out raw food with a scale and dosing medication into one of their meals. She handled both tasks with ease and seemed incredibly comfortable with the routine. She even went the extra mile by turning my plant lights on and off! She is very friendly, offers highly competitive pricing, and left me feeling completely confident that my cats were in good hands. I look forward to booking with her again!”

“Rachel did a fantastic job of cat sitting our two boys while we were away for 10 days. my husband, who is very apprehensive about leaving the cats alone, felt extremely comfortable and reassured after meeting Rachel... and she didn't disappoint. One of the kitties basically fell in love with her. She provided reliable updates, including delightful pictures. i'd strongly recommend her. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Lisa is the best! My cat loves her, and I always come home to a house full of good energy. I appreciate Lisa’s thoughtfulness and good communication. Thank you again!”

“El was so sweet and a wonderful sitter for my kitty over the weekend. Excellent communication and lots of photos in the daily updates. I came back to a very tidy apartment and happy cat. I would definitely book her again!”

“Isabella took care of my two cats, Felix and Fritz, with twice-daily drop-ins while I was gone for 5 days. I was a little worried about them because they're still skittish from our recent move, but Isabella made huge efforts to befriend both of them. In addition to handling their meals and litter care, she got to know them, gave them treats, and played with them, handling each according to their own personalities. By the time I got home they were comfortable with her and very relaxed. She did a wonderful job, and I won't hesitate to have her take care of them again!”

“Colby was super kind & responsive, giving our cat all the love and cuddles she needed while we were gone. We really appreciated the detailed updates and pictures. Will definitely book again!”

“This was the second time Heidi took care of our kitties! Appreciated her thorough daily updates and pics. Thrilled and surprised that Violet warmed up so quickly! Heidi truly has the magic touch”

“Reese did an absolutely amazing job. We had recently had a horrible experience with a different sitter and had a lot of reservations about using Rover again due to that. However, Reese made us feel great. She followed our instructions, kept the cats safe, and gave us updates. We’ll definitely hire her again.”

“Thank you so much! Marlee made this experience so easy and followed my instructions very well. My cat was in great spirits when I returned home and the pictures with updates she sent me brought me great peace of mind. I’ll definitely be rebooking :)”

“Mikayla did a last-minute drop in visit ON CHRISTMAS when our robot vacuum went rogue and created a potentially dangerous situation for our cats. She really went above and beyond.”

“Kara was a great cat sitter. Kara communicated well (and quickly) and I know my cat Mouna was happy with her visitor! I will definitely try to book Kara again! Thanks!”

“By the end of the week she was able to get all three of my very anxious and shy cats to share space with her. She was even able to give them all loves. I couldn’t have asked for more. My poor babies were all rescued from rough situations so they are always very timid”

“Aiyana was a wonderful cat-sitter for our kitties. She instantly bonded with them on a pre-trip visit to our home. She is a very good communicator and sent us pictures regularly while we were gone. When we got home, our cats were healthy and happy! I highly recommend her as a pet-sitter (and she's a super nice person as well!)”

About: I didn’t get to take care of cats growing up, but it made seeking out cat sitting for friends so much more rewarding. I have seen cat personalities all across the spectrum, from not even being comfortable in the same room as people to being a floppy teddy bear in my arms, I honestly just care about experiencing your pet(s) and giving them the best time away from their parents. Having 6 cats, my partner and I have navigated so many situations that I feel confident entering new households prepared for the best and the worst.

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and have experience with different sizes, personalities, and needs. I’ve cared for a range of high energy to low energy and am happy to meet all of their needs. I am a recent graduate from the university and have not yet secured a job, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I live in an apartment complex with one dog of my own (who loves other dogs). I am home most of the time so I can accommodate any number of needs for your pet easily!
“Steve was fantastic, I was in a bit of a pinch as we were having our bathtub replaced short notice and he was flexible and provided our dog Padme with a fun filled day with other doggie friends! I would definitely recommend him 10/10.”

“Chris was wonderful with Ziggy! We received pics and even a video! Ziggy was picked up and immediately fell asleep a happy pup! We look forward to booking with Chris again.”

“I have truly appreciated Alex and how he has helped care for my dog during the days that I work. He quickly responds to messages, he is thorough, and he has been flexible with scheduling. I believe my dog is living a better life now that she can spend time with Alex and his pugs several days a week!”

About: Hello! My name is Asia. I’m 25 years old and I’ve cared for cats, dogs, snakes, birds, and ferrets! Babies are kind of my thing too, haha! I’ve cared for animals for about 9 years and all I can say is i genuinely love animals. All of them! I am mobile so travel isn’t an issue! Personally, I’ve had two cats, a dog, and a snake. I think animals are loving creatures that deserve the same love back. So if you’re considering hiring me, I’d be more than ecstatic to take care of your baby(ies)! Im currently a stay at home mom so im with the animals most of the time besides when I need to pick up/drop off my kid from school or run errands. I currently stay in a house with a decent sized backyard, and it is gated! So you won’t have to worry about your animal escaping.

About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. I like to walk and get my steps in everyday so it won’t be much different walking with the doggos. I have dog and catsit for close friends and family but never strangers. Excited to do it! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I am my own boss so I can pretty much take breaks whenever I need to take your fur baby on walks or feed them as well as give them lots of attention when needed. My availability is very open and I love all animals. Since I work from home I’ll always be here to make sure your animal is well cared for and happy. I also go on multiple walks daily anyways to try and stay active so its perfect!!

About: Hi! I've been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember and have over 10 years of official pet-sitting experience. From family and friends' pets to Rover clients, I've always loved providing a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for every dog. While I took a break from actively booking through Rover for a few years, I'm excited to be back and look forward to meeting new pets and their owners. I work a full-time job Monday through Friday and work from home on Mondays and Fridays, allowing for extra attention and flexibility those days. I also have a dog and cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. Whether your dog enjoys walks, playtime, or relaxing at home, I'll treat them like part of my own family and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I work full time from 9am-5pm Monday - Friday. Mondays and Fridays are work-from-home days, so I am available to give extra attention to any pets in my care. I am up early and stay up moderately late, so I can accommodate early morning or nighttime walks that avoid the heat. I have a very friendly Australian Shepherd that loves to play with other dogs. Our home is multi-level, so best for dogs that are physically comfortable going up and down stairs. Our location has a lot of areas for walks, and park play, which is a part of our routine whenever watching a client in our home. When caring for a pet in their own home, I make every effort to mimic any routines they are used to. This assists in helping dogs feel safe and comfortable, and leads to a better overall experience. I am a very clean person, so it is important to me to keep others' spaces that way as well.
About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.
About: I have experience taking care of boarding dogs and cats at an animal hospital. I worked for them for a little over a year and have gotten lots of experience with dogs and cats. I used to raise puppies and train them how to sit and have manners for about two years with my parent. I have dog sitting experience and house sitting experience. I am currently going to school at the UofA full time during the weekdays (my class schedule is listed below keep reading) and would be available most days to come and play with the animals for 30 minutes to an hour in the afternoons and overnight sitting. And on weekends I would be free to play with and walk the animals as needed. Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!
“Logan is so attentive to your pet! He trimmed my dogs nails when they were too long and I really appreciated him going out of his way to make sure my baby was comfortable while I was away.”

About: I am a recent graduate from Colorado State University majoring in Animal Sciences and minoring in Zoology. During my time completing my undergrad I have had many opportunities taking care of dogs and cats for clients up in Northern Colorado. I am very detail oriented and attentive to my care for your fur babies. I also am known to be a great dog walker and have had some experience handling medication for cats and dogs. I am currently looking for work right now but I have a lot of time to be able to care for your animals as you are busy during the day and providing them company! I currently am living in an apartment so I can’t provide boarding services but I do have reliable transportation that’ll allow me to visit homes and check up on your animals during the day!
“Maggie was absolutely amazing! If I could give her 6 stars I would. From the moment we met her we could tell how caring she was and how much she loves animals. She was so good with our little chihuahua and was amazing about sending updates with photos and videos. We are so thankful we found Maggie and hope to work with her again in the future. If you are looking for someone to take good care of your fur baby, look no further! Maggie is hands down the best!❤️”

If needed, I'll even wipe their butts after poops or belly after they pee haha, IYKYK. I’m semi-retired and work a part-time remote job as a hobby. I like to pet sit Frenchies and Bostons and will have plenty of free time to ensure your dog is cared for. I’ll care for your pets as if they are my own. “Azul loves Rachel she walks at her pace and Rachel is very responsible. Azul seems happy when she comes back home and when Rachel comes to pick her up for her walk Azul is very happy.”

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I am the person that always walks other people's dogs since they don't have the time for it. The well-being of pets, even those I don't own, is always something that I pay close attention to. I have taken care of my pregnant dog twice, helping her deliver and tending to newborn puppies. I have also taken care of sick dogs and dogs who recently had surgery, all of which was very demanding. I also rescued a cat from the street which currently lives with me. Right now I am in between jobs so I'm very free, which is why I'm very flexible and taking care of your pets will be my priority. There might be an occasional weekend once a month where I might be busy but that would the only conflicting issue. The rest of the time I will be very flexible and work with your needs. My home is mostly suitable for cats or dogs that live indoors. There's a lot of green areas right outside my home and in the community for a dog to play in but it's not a fenced yard. For a cat, my house has cat trees, litter box, plenty of toys and everything they might need. I do have a cat and a dog if your pet does good with other pets.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses, so caring for pets isn’t just a job, it’s truly my passion. I just lost my senior dog, which means I understand how much your furry family member means to you. I specialize in caring for anxious pets and know how to create a calm, reassuring environment so they feel safe and comfortable in their own home. Before every stay I love to do a meet and greet, so your pet and I can get acquainted before you leave. My mornings are completely free, so your pet gets walks, playtime and plenty of cuddles to start the day. I’m available both weekdays and weekends and communicate as often as you’d like, expect lots of photos and updates! I follow your pet’s existing routine and your instructions to the letter, from feeding schedules to medication administration to emergency protocols. Your rules, your way.
“Ricky was great with walking my golden retriever! He was polite and professional and sent lots of pictures of Romeo. I felt good throughout my work day knowing that Romeo was being taken care of!”

About: I have been a lifelong pet owner, caring for dogs of all different sizes and personalities. I have also looked after friends and family’s pets, always treating them as my own!! I take pride in entertaining and keeping pets happy while their owner is away. As a communication student at the University of Arizona, I have the afternoons, nights, and weekend mornings available. My lifestyle is centered around fitness, wellness, and balance, which allows me to have the energy and flexibility to provide constant love and care for pets. When caring for a pet in a client’s home, I promise to make sure that I understand and follow all instructions carefully and create a safe environment for the pet(s) to thrive in. I also respect that each pet possesses unique needs and personality and abide to giving them that attention they request.

“Thomas does such a great job with both my high energy pup and her older sis! You can see the love he has for what he does. The pups are excited for his arrival every morning and ready for naps by the time he brings them back. Best decision ever 😁”

“Mikayla is very reliable and professional. Luke has enjoyed his long walks. It usually takes a few walks for him to relax with a new person walking him but he seems to have taken a quick liking to Mikayla!”

About: I have a chocolate lab back home that I miss dearly, but while I'm in college I'd love to spend my free time loving and caring for your babies! I’ve been a pet person as long as I can remember. From the day I met my kitten Percy at age nine to the moment I brought home my puppy Lois, animals have been the center of my world. With 12 years of pet care experience, my passion is to now provide your pets with the same level of devotion I give my own. I've spent a great amount of time training my pets and can contribute to maintaining your training process as well. I pride myself on adaptability with each pet and their owners, catering to your pet's age and energy levels. This can vary from long walks with some running, to gentle strolls and a quiet environment. I have experience with my dog being in heat as well as older dogs that need extra care. I can also provide any medications needed for mouth, ears, or paws with treats and calmly talking to the baby. Lastly, I have experience with reactive dogs, this includes hyper awareness of our surroundings on walks and creating distance for comfort, also always carrying treats with me for positive reinforcement and a reward after walks. I have a very open schedule for the next few months and would love to keep your cat or dog company. I'm very flexible and can come and go when they need me and walks can be at their normal times based on each pets personalized schedule. I live in a gated community with a large amount of pets living on the property, there's a community yard area that wraps around the buildings with many spots for dogs to do their business. I'll also be walking them around the neighborhood if they need a longer walk. I also have a back porch leading to the yard area where I can sit with your pet on a long leash to relax and spend time outside. Your pet will always be supervised if outside since we have no fence.
About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My first dog was a Chihuahua who lived to be 18, so I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs and making sure they stay comfortable as they grow older. I've also grown up around horses and farm animals, and I even had a leopard gecko for a couple years. Most of my friends and family have dogs too, so I've spent plenty of time around all kinds of personalities and energy levels. Being around animals has always been something I enjoy! I'm a full time college student, so I have lots of extra time to care for your beloved companions! I have my own transportation and extremely flexible times. I live in an apartment with my Belgian Malinois, so I know firsthand how important exercise, structure, and routine can be, especially for high-energy dogs! I'm very organized and always do my best to stick to each pet's normal schedule so they feel comfortable and at home.
“We have been working with Sofia for two weeks now and she’s been very easy to work with, she shows up on time and goes straight to working with my dog, she sends me great pictures and updates me on progress and daily activity on our dog behavior and her personal breaks, I would recommend Sofia to anyone looking for a nice and caring person to walk your dog, glad to have found her and really appreciate her time she spends working with our dog!”

“We were a little nervous about leaving our dog with someone new, but Lesley was great with our Rosie. It was such a relief to know that Rosie would be well cared for. You can tell Lesley really loves dogs. She opened her home to Rosie and was very affectionate and attentive with her. Lesley checked in with us multiple times over the stay, sending us photos and updating us on how Rosie was doing. She even fed Rosie some chicken when Rosie turned her nose up at her regular food. We're so happy we found Lesley.”

“David took great care of Birdie! She was very happy and healthy when I picked her up. I would highly recommend David and hopefully he will be available in the future when I need someone to watch her!”

“Michelle was a dream for my Desi girl! She is so incredibly kind, caring and attentive to my pup 😊. I appreciated her consistent communication while I was out of town, her experience with dogs is invaluable, I HIGHLY recommend her to all pet owners!”

“One of my guys was recently put on medication, and I was a little worried about leaving him with a sitter. Dana was terrific about it. My boys got a so much attention and came home happy.”

“Our cat, Reggie is no picnic. He is old and a bit cranky; he complains a lot and loudly. Julia took care of him for three weeks while we were abroad. We could not have been happier with her care for Reggie. Highly recommend.”

“Antonio took great care of our pup. He was very easy to communicate with and provided updates throughout the stay with pictures and videos. We would definitely use him again to watch our pup and recommend him.”

“Mercedez did a wonderful job taking care of both our dogs! We would highly recommend her and if we bring the dogs back to Tucson, we would for sure use her services! Thank you again!”

“Lauren was Amazing!!! She cared for my dog like it was her own, would definitely rebook again with her! she would send me pictures each day and how my pup was doing and kept me updated with how things were!! Thank you!!!”

“Chip had a great time at Lara’s! He’s still a puppy so he liked being able to run and play with the other dogs. I appreciated that he was able to hike with the other dogs and horses too. Highly recommend and Lara will be my first choice if we need a sitter again!”

“We couldn’t have asked for better sitters for our dog, Ollie. Water and John (along with their sweet dog, Poppy) were incredibly kind and welcoming, making Ollie feel right at home from the start. They kept us updated with regular texts and photos, which truly put our minds at ease while we were away. When Ollie had a little trouble adjusting to the new environment, Water and John went above and beyond to help him settle in comfortably—even letting him sleep in bed with them, which we really appreciated! Their genuine care and flexibility made all the difference. We would absolutely recommend Water and John to anyone looking for thoughtful, reliable pet sitters. Ollie was in wonderful hands, and we’re so grateful for their exceptional care!”
