About: I have been around cats my entire life. Currently the wife and I are parents to a brother and sister team of kittens and as a work from home house husband all I can say is the term "cat dad" gets thrown on me way too often. About: I worked at a boarding business for cats and dogs and was around many different breeds, sizes, and ages of cats. In this job I had to clean out their litter box, feed them their desired food, and also give medicine to the ones that needed it. I also had to play and cuddle and spend time with each cat during a shift. I have always grown up around cats, my first ever pet was a cat, and I own a cat now as well. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I grew up with dogs and have been caring for them since I was young, so being around them feels natural to me. About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I have a fenced backyard just under 2acres of land. So it is very spacious for bigger dogs to run around in! I am able to walk dogs for however long.

About: I loveee animals! I am a certified dog trainer. I have been certified for almost 4 years! I had my own dog before! There are no other animals in my apartment just me! I am also very active and will love to bring your fur baby along! I work with pets already, I have a car and can come anywhere. I can stay overnight anywhere at anytime and any day. I am very flexible. I also can board your animal at mine. I start off my day with a run or walk! Keeping watch and making sure nothing unsafe can be attained by the animal. I will make sure they have a feeding schedule and are taken care of to the best of my abilities.
“This was our Lab’s second stay. She thoroughly enjoys being around John, Water and their pup, Poppy. They always her much love, playtime and attention so she’s gotten a bit better about staying overnight. Poppy and my dog have become good buddies so I know she is very comfortable in their home. Our lab did have an accident while playing ball with another dog in the extended concrete patio area in the backyard. While jumping up to catch the ball, she bumped into the other dog and ended up pulling a ligament in her hind leg (had Vet check her the following day). Water promptly called me to inform me she was limping and explained what had happened. I sincerely appreciated her concern and so relieved it wasn’t something much worse. Water always kept us informed throughout our dog’s weekend stay with texts and pictures. Hoping down the road that Water and John can make a play area that is conducive for running and catching balls with a soft surface so we can bring our dog back. I know she really likes being with them! As a very active lab who loves playing and chasing balls, she always gets playtime from Water and John. Thank you Water and John, you guys are such gems.”
