“Sarah was amazing at taking care of my 3 babies last minute. My dogs loved her and i felt at ease leaving them in good hands. I have dogs from different ages and she knew how to handle them with care. I definitely recommend her as a sitter for your furry friends! Thank you Sarah, we appreciate your help?”
“Apache and Sugar Plum are home kitties and don't board well so Adrian dropped in to check on them and care for them while I was traveling. I'm so appreciative they can stay in their environment and get the care they need while I'm gone!”

“Lilian did an amazing job taking care of our fur babies. She administered medications, followed all of our detailed and sometimes complicated instructions, and made sure each pet’s individual needs were met. We really appreciated the regular photo updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It’s not easy to care for pets with different special needs, but Lilian handled everything with care and attention. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter.”

“El was so sweet and a wonderful sitter for my kitty over the weekend. Excellent communication and lots of photos in the daily updates. I came back to a very tidy apartment and happy cat. I would definitely book her again!”

“Nadia was so great! She took great care of my kitty during her drop in visits, had excellent communication, and kept my apartment tidy. She was also very accommodating of my changing travel plans, which I really appreciated.”

About: Growing up in rural Delaware, we always had at least one family dog who we took on long off-leash walks and played fetch and tag with in our big backyard. Having so much space allowed for the opportunity to connect, bond with, and read our dogs while they were having tons of fun and just being themselves. About my dogs: In 2013, I adopted Minnie. For twelve years, she has been my hiking partner, shot gun rider, and my little spoon. In 2022, I found Olive on the side of the road in west Tucson as a victim of abuse and neglect. Although she has made leaps and bounds in her recovery, she can still be hesitant with strangers. But once her trust is earned, she is a total sweetheart (see photos). I genuinely enjoy helping pet parents feel safe and reassured while their pets are in my care. I’ll keep you updated with clear communication and daily photos and videos so you’re always in the loop. I understand that your pet has their own unique personality, and I look forward to learning about them and making sure the have a safe, enjoyable time until their humans return home 🤍🐾 I work another job which requires me to be out of town Tues-Thurs from March-November 2026. During this time I am able to care for pets Friday-Monday. From Dec 12, 2025-March 3, 2026, I have an open schedule for pet care. During our meet and greet, I will take notes on your pets daily routine and household things, then mirror that to the best of my ability, ensuring lots of pets, treats, walks and play time!
“This was the second time Heidi took care of our kitties! Appreciated her thorough daily updates and pics. Thrilled and surprised that Violet warmed up so quickly! Heidi truly has the magic touch”

About: Hello, I’m Erica—a dedicated Tucson pet caregiver with 20 years of loving experience. Whether your furry friend enjoys cozy snuggles at home or thrilling outdoor adventures, I adapt to what makes each pet happiest. As pet parents often note, I’m “available on short notice,” respond quickly, and always send heartfelt daily messages with photos. My goal is to ensure both pets and their humans feel relaxed and supported. From neighborhood strolls and hiking trails to comfortable downtime with belly rubs—your pup’s comfort and happiness are my priority. I’d love to meet your companion and craft a stay full of joy, care, and peace of mind. Boarding is open all week long, so your pet always has a safe, loving place to stay. I also offer weekend drop-ins for potty breaks, meals, or playtime. While I work weekdays 8–5, I do my best to accommodate special requests—just message me and we’ll work it out! I have a small, fenced backyard for your pet to explore and one large dog and a cat to keep your pet company. I can easily crate your dog if needed as well.
About: I've been caring for friend's and neighbor's pets since I was a teen, and I would love to come give your pets some affection and exercise while you're busy or away! I've lived with dogs with all kinds of personalities, have fostered dogs and cats for PACC, and have experience working with reactive, anxious, and high-needs dogs. I adopted my (almost 3yo) dog as a puppy and have been learning a lot about puppy training too! I practice positive reinforcement training and I'm happy to turn our walks and play time into opportunities to work on your pup's training. I'm available to come play with your dog, take them for walks, and make sure they get lots of loving attention! I currently work as a field botanist and my schedule is variable throughout the year. When I’m in town I can be available most times of day with advance notice. I try to keep my calendar updated a month or two in advance with my availability. I'm happy to follow any requests, rules, or special needs you have for your pet. I find treats to be a great way to befriend most pups- unless you have particular treats for your dog, I'll typically have treats to share! If your dog takes some time to warm up to strangers, or has trouble walking in places where they may interact with other dogs, I am more than happy to work through their needs with you and the pup.
About: Recently laid off from the corporate world & diving back in to what brings me joy ✨ I have over two decades of experience caring for cats & dogs. In my youth, I quickly passed on babysitting to become the neighborhood pet sitter 🦮 I’ve provided care for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. My calendar is a blank slate for the time being, meaning I am incredibly flexible to fit your pet’s needs. Short notice requests can generally be accommodated :) I’ll always ensure that we thoroughly discuss the ins and outs of your home and pet’s needs beforehand. My priority is ensuring a smooth and safe experience. I include frequent check-ins and photo updates, making sure the line of communication remains open.
“Great experience with Cara for a short out of Towner; she communicates well, updated us, helped us keep our plants alive in the blazing heat, was reliable and took great care of our senior pups! Thank you!!!”

“Taylor did a great job checking in on our sweet Snawfus. I appreciated her timely communication, availability & kindness. I loved getting some picture updates as well. We will definitely use her services again.”

“I can’t say enough about how great this experience was. Rachel is such a wonderful dog care person! I was nervous using rover for the first time but Rachel promptly set up a meet and greet and tolerated me flooding her with care instructions for our beloved Herbie! She showed up early for each visit and spent extra time with Herbie after, going above and beyond, and communicating how well things were going with lots of pictures. I will definitely try to book Rachel if we need a sitter. Outstanding!”

“Chloe took great care of our cat while we were out of town! We loved the great updates and pictures. Chloe is a great communicator and easy to work with, highly recommended!!”

“Pam was great at conducting drop-ins for my cat. She was super communicative and sent a lot of pictures and updates! She really made me feel at ease while away from home. Thanks Pam!”

Mountain First Avenue pet parents share their Rover experiences
I was nervous about leaving my cat for longer than I ever had previously, but Hannah made it so much easier. She sent me updates and cute pics (I think she takes better pics of my cat than I do!) that calmed my nervousness. Of course my baby was happy to see me when I got back but I could tell she hadn’t been too stressed or lonely while I’d been gone. She’d gotten plenty of pets and love. So, Hannah is much appreciated!

Sophia is amazing, her love for cats is very evident and I feel as if she genuinely cared for my cat's well-being. Sophia is very responsive to messages and willingly provides additional updates, I felt completely comfortable leaving my cat and my home in her care. Every visit Sophia took plenty of photos and included notes on behavior, water intake, eating habits, and litter box usage. My cat missed her so much after the visits ended, he even made biscuits on the sofa where they used to hang out together. I will definitely hire her again and highly recommend her to any pet owner.

Seth did a great job with our elderly dog and kept in communication with us on her eating and bathroom habits. Consistent posts on her activity levels and how well she did on walks. Also was sensitive to changes in the weather and how it could impact her on a walk. Would highly recommend.

Amelia is the best choice for your pups. She is diligent and so sweet with my dog. It’s clear how much she cares and enjoys spending time with her. Amelia goes above and beyond to help me while we are crate training and giving meds. Will definitely use her again!

Carina is amazing!! She is so responsive and attentive to my cat’s individual needs, sends so many cute photos everyday, and gives complete updates so I can have peace of mind that my cat is taken care of while I’m away. Mushu also loves having her around when I’m gone. I always try to book with her if I can!!
