Safety, trust & environment
As a dog foster, I have learned to be exceptionally careful with new dogs. Respecting their space, while being friendly and encouraging. Taking extra precautions when leaving the house or letting them out into the yard. I understand that change and new people can be stressful to a dog and am careful to avoid additional stressors. I feel immense responsibility for the pets in my care, as well as other pets and people we encounter on walks. I also want the dogs to have fun and relax when we are at home. I really enjoy getting to know new dogs and hope they see me as a new friend ☺️
Information Elizabeth D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any medical or behavioral needs. I am comfortable caring for all dogs, thanks to my experience fostering medical + SNAB dogs. Knowing about a dog's needs allows me to tailor our time together to best fit your pet.
A typical day
I believe a park is the best destination for a walk! There's nothing like having their noses sniffing and their paws on the grass. Spending time in the yard, playing fetch or sunbathing, is another great way to get to know each other. Indoors, I like to find out what tricks a dog knows and introduce them to a puzzle toy or KONG.

Experienced Dog Foster
Pet care experience
I have fostered 8 dogs for PACC (so far!) and helped them find homes. Caring for dogs of ages, temperaments and needs has taught me so much. I have experience with both dogs and cats (and birds and fish!).
Cat care experience

Elizabeth also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.

We’re so glad we found Elizabeth! We felt at ease leaving the dogs with them because they are caring. They sent updates, pictures, and videos of our dogs which gave us peace of mind. We were a little bit worried because one of our dogs is a rescue who does not trust people immediately, but he felt so comfortable with Elizabeth and they were great with him. We’re lucky to have found Elizabeth on rover and hope to have them watch our dogs again in the future! Thank you Elizabeth!
Any pet would be lucky to spend time with Elizabeth. They are caring, reliable, and have extensive experience fostering and caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities and needs. Elizabeth genuinely loves animals and I would trust them completely with any pet.
Eli has experience caring for lots of different kinds of dogs. They are very loving and treat pets like family. Eli is an amazing caretaker and makes sure the cute doggies are properly fed and groomed and have a safe and welcoming space to recover and rejuvenate. Eli is very caring and provides a non overstimulating environment for frightened doggies.
I am lucky to have seen Eli pet sit for friends, as well as care for so many foster dogs with the love and attention they deserve. Eli’s level of responsibility is meticulous—they make sure every vet visit is scheduled, special diet needs are adhered to, and is careful (and fun!) on every walk. Eli takes the time to learn about each pup, their distinct personalities, and shows pets the compassion they deserve. This includes my very own cat, Cupcake. You and your pet would be so lucky to have Eli looking after them.
