“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. “My boyfriend and I were on a road trip in the Los Angeles area and we decided to bring our baby Belle with us. There were somethings that we wanted to do and go see what wouldn't allow us to bring Belle with us. I contacted Sylvie the night before we wanted to bring Belle for doggy day care; she responded and accepted our request within minutes! When the day came, I was nervous. I wasn't sure how Belle would do at doggy day care, it was her first time. “Darlene went above and beyond with our little girl, Rosie. We really put her through the ringer. Rosie is older and has health issues that occasionally arise. Just before her stay, she started experiencing incontinence, which, though treated, was not yet under control during her stay with Darlene. Poor Darlene had to use her mop quite a bit, and despite the burden, she treated Rosie so gently and sweetly. Even though having accidents normally stresses Rosie out, she was very content at Darlene's. She was given a lot of love, a healthy amount of treats, and plenty of outside and playtime with Darlene's little pom, Foxi. We were able to relax knowing that Rosie was in great hands. We're big fans of Darlene. Will book again, if she'll have us.”

About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I've loved dogs my whole life! When I was born my mom had a chocolate lab and a doberman. Then my dad got a rescue pitbull and a husky mix. Right now my family has a mini golden doodle who's been with us for 14 years and a mini Aussie doodle. I also have a pitbull mix named nova! She's two years old. About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. About: At 55, I have been a pet owner most of my life. When I first moved to Tucson in 2006, my now wife had a husky and tabby cat which we unfortunately lost years ago. Since then we have been mainly cat owners seeing as our house is quite small but I do miss being around, playing with and walking dogs. I am mature but still a kid at heart, flexible schedule, reliable transportation, indoors mostly but loves to be outside and, above all, a lifetime fan of animals. Cheers! Seeing as I work from home and set my own schedule, I can be there when you need, as you need, if you need, all of that. Breaking away from my laptop and house husband duties to hang out with your dog(s) or cat(s) for an extended amount of time is a far better prospect than running errands or checking the mail. Since February of this year, 2026, we are proud parents of a a brother and sister combo of, lets say, rather enthusiastic kittens. It is a small cottage midtown, a safe and loving environment with far too many toys that they sometimes play with, food and water bowls that are always full, I take time out every afternoon to deep clean the house and I even started an Instagram for them that is usually either a) the duo being in the way when we're trying to watch a movie or me cooking dinner or b) chronicling what we like to call "turbo time", aka the zoomies.

About: I have experience taking care of boarding dogs and cats at an animal hospital. I worked for them for a little over a year and have gotten lots of experience with dogs and cats. I used to raise puppies and train them how to sit and have manners for about two years with my parent. I have dog sitting experience and house sitting experience. I am currently going to school at the UofA full time during the weekdays (my class schedule is listed below keep reading) and would be available most days to come and play with the animals for 30 minutes to an hour in the afternoons and overnight sitting. And on weekends I would be free to play with and walk the animals as needed. Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My first dog was a Chihuahua who lived to be 18, so I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs and making sure they stay comfortable as they grow older. I've also grown up around horses and farm animals, and I even had a leopard gecko for a couple years. I try to be observant to my dogs behaviors to see if soemthing is off and I try to keep a decently consistent schedule with feeding and potty breaks. I also make sure they have enough water especially in Arizona heat.

About: Hello I’m Karinnah! I currently work full time as a veterinary assistant at an urgent care clinic. I got my VA certification from Pima Medical Institute in 2022 and have worked at multiple clinics over the last 4 years. I also have work history at a couple different boarding/daycare facilities prior to becoming a VA. I am very familiar with boarding, daycare, and veterinary environments so rest assured, your 4-legged pal is in responsible hands. I have worked with all kinds of dogs, cats, and other little beasties, nothing is too out of the ordinary for me these days. I grew up with many pups and kitties in my life so it’s a familiar feeling having animals around constantly. As a CVA I have professional training in general, emergency, intensive veterinary care so I am able to adjust to any of your pets medical needs if necessary. I am also a pet parent myself with 2 crazy dogs and 1 spicy cat and understand how important getting proper care for them is. My clinic is open weekdays from 3-11pm and weekends 10am-8pm. I am off on Saturday, Wednesday, and Thursdays typically. I can probably take bookings earlier in the day on days I work with enough notice. Whatever setup you have in your home I am willing to work with, it’s all about your buddy’s comfort and your peace of mind! If you have a reactive or aggressive dog I’m willing to do house calls. Any feeding or medication accommodations are fine with me as well.
About: I'm a lover of every animal I've ever met, with a background in pediatrics, medication administration, foster animal care, neo-natal pet care, first aid and pet/house sitting. This can include following special protocols, providing lots of photos and videos, and calling or texting immediately if something arises that I don't yet know the answer to, such as how to help an animal through a surprise stressful situation or where a favorite toy might be hiding. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a dog in my life. I have had many years of experience watching and taking care of mine and others dogs. I have watched my family’s and close friends dogs many times throughout the years. I have dog sitted and had multiple doggy sleepovers up to a month before. I have watched dogs as small as Chihuahuas all the way up to German Shepherds. There is no task I can’t handle! (: I can’t wait to meet your baby and becoming their new friend! I m currently unemployed and have more than most my time available for dog care. I spend most my time with my own dogs and or family members and friends. I have a great back yard where dogs can run around and feel safe. I am pretty minimal when it comes to furniture but do have plenty of room for dogs to lay around. I wash all couch covers twice a week, sweep & vacuum everyday, and mop as needed. I am very big on keeping poop cleaned up and making sure things are cleaned up regularly like toys or trash that might be out. Bathroom doors stay closed and cleaning supplies are locked up.
