Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. About: Ive had many pets throughout my life. Majority being dogs. Ive had dogs of many sizes and breeds. Ive had three pitbulls, three chihuahuas, two german shepherds, and one saint bernard!! I work part time, my shifts usually being from 6 am - 1 pm on weekdays, which gives me much of my day to take care of your pets! Weekends are a bit more difficult due to the fluctuations in my work schedule but I'm pretty casual when it comes to working around things! I have a fenced yard, its not too big but there is space! I can also take your pet for a walk if they yard is not good enough! I will not leave your pet in a crate but instead allow them to roam freely (Unless you specifically want them to be crated).

We feel so comfortable with her and our 2 senior cats and our 2 year old. They can be a handful with some issues, but she takes pride in caring for each one and is our animal whisperer. About: I've loved dogs my whole life! When I was born my mom had a chocolate lab and a doberman. Then my dad got a rescue pitbull and a husky mix. Right now my family has a mini golden doodle who's been with us for 14 years and a mini Aussie doodle. I also have a pitbull mix named nova! She's two years old. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t like me! I just graduated esthetician school and I’m currently starting my business. Everything I make on rover goes towards my career! Im currently starting my entrepreneurial journey. Right now I’m a full time pet care giver. I also work a weekend night job. I do not have a set schedule so I have open availability. I prefer to care for pets in my home but I’m always happy to accommodate whatever the client needs. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for play and accessible paths for walks. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: When I moved into my house in 2018, one of my first priorities was to get a dog. Recently, Addie, who spent the past 7 years with me, had to be put down unexpectedly. I miss her a ton, and I would love to open my home to another dog (the yard just calls out for it), but I am unable to adopt at the moment for logistical/financial reasons. I would love for your pets and I to keep each other company while I work from home during the day! I am a diligent and reliable person who works remotely as a paralegal, so I always need excuses (whether walks, play, food, snuggles, or just potty breaks) to get up from my desk and move at intervals throughout the work day. I love animals of all kinds - in addition to my own dog, I can submit my friends' pets as references (Mildred the cat likes me better than her owner's wife, and Maggie the dog is obsessed with me while spurning every other friend her owners have). I'm also a birdwatcher and a huge fan of all the wildlife in my yard, from bunnies to lizards. My dog training and medical/senior pet care skills are limited, but I am open to learning and strongly attentive to detail - I will be sure to give your pet what they need. I work from home during the week, with approximate hours of 7 am - 4 pm M-F. On Tuesdays I have appointments in the afternoons, so I will not be available for day care that day. Weekend availability will depend on my plans. I don't have any pets at home currently. I have a screened-in patio with a dog door leading to the fenced-in backyard. When the weather is nice (not too hot), I like to work in the patio. The yard backs onto a wash, so there is a lot of wildlife in the area. Javelinas and coyotes frequent the area but cannot get into the yard. I have seen two rattlesnakes in the yard in 7 years of living here. I would not leave small/medium dogs or cats outside unsupervised. If you give permission, I would feel comfortable leaving large dogs who are snake trained outside while I'm in the house (as I often did with my 80 lb golden doodle).

About: I’ve always been that person who helps out with family pets just because I love taking care of them. A few years ago, I finally got a dog of my own, and that’s when I really got into training—learning how to communicate with her, build routines, and understand how she thinks. Now, I bring that same care and attention to every pet I watch, making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I am a college student with a flexible schedule. About: I've had pets since I was a baby. My mother had a little wading pool and she used to put our pet ducklings in the water to swim with me. When I was five, I started bringing home injured animals. I've worked with everything from skunks to raptors to more common animals like dogs, cats, and horses. She gets a really long walk at sunrise and has little ones throughout the day as well. Her happiness is my priority. I make sure she goes to her vet regularly and gets groomed, so that she can be healthy and feel her best. I have a large, walled backyard garden full of lots of places for a pet to sniff, yet it’s safe enough for them to explore. My dog does not go out there unsupervised. At sunset to night, I walk her on the leash back there to ensure predators don’t find her. She is a member of my family, and has her own special places and pillows to make her feel safe and comfortable.

Animals are my passion and I have very high standards of care for every animal I am responsible for. I have experience with (and am actively continuing my education on) Cooperative Care and basic obedience training using positive reinforcement. I have a senior dog of my own and have had special needs dogs in the past, so I am happy to work with dogs that need a little extra care. My main availability is Tuesday-Thursday, but I can occasionally accommodate other days. Feel free to reach out and we can see what we can work out! How I care for pets is fully tailored to my client's needs. I prefer to have a meet and greet with new clients and their pets to get to know you both and go over any important details of their care. I do not feed any treats or food that are not approved ahead of time. I'm educated on signs of fatigue in dogs and am careful to not overwork the dogs in my care (especially in this summer heat).

Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard.
