“I was nervous leaving my cocker spaniel, Hedwig at a daycare for the first time. I wasn’t sure how he would behave with other dogs without a leash. During a meet and greet with Beth she put me at ease pointing out the positive behavior Hedwig was behaving with the other dogs. While on my ten day vacation, she sent me a video of Hedwig wanting to play with another dog as well as 3 pictures of him relaxing and he looked happy. He even slept under her bed at night. “Darlene went above and beyond with our little girl, Rosie. We really put her through the ringer. Rosie is older and has health issues that occasionally arise. Just before her stay, she started experiencing incontinence, which, though treated, was not yet under control during her stay with Darlene. Poor Darlene had to use her mop quite a bit, and despite the burden, she treated Rosie so gently and sweetly. Even though having accidents normally stresses Rosie out, she was very content at Darlene's. She was given a lot of love, a healthy amount of treats, and plenty of outside and playtime with Darlene's little pom, Foxi. We were able to relax knowing that Rosie was in great hands. We're big fans of Darlene. Will book again, if she'll have us.”

About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. “We were a little nervous about leaving our dog with someone new, but Lesley was great with our Rosie. It was such a relief to know that Rosie would be well cared for. You can tell Lesley really loves dogs. She opened her home to Rosie and was very affectionate and attentive with her. Lesley checked in with us multiple times over the stay, sending us photos and updating us on how Rosie was doing. She even fed Rosie some chicken when Rosie turned her nose up at her regular food.
