“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! Your dog will be in good hands.”

About: Ive had many pets throughout my life. Majority being dogs. Ive had dogs of many sizes and breeds. Ive had three pitbulls, three chihuahuas, two german shepherds, and one saint bernard!! I work part time, my shifts usually being from 6 am - 1 pm on weekdays, which gives me much of my day to take care of your pets! Weekends are a bit more difficult due to the fluctuations in my work schedule but I'm pretty casual when it comes to working around things! I have a fenced yard, its not too big but there is space! I can also take your pet for a walk if they yard is not good enough! I will not leave your pet in a crate but instead allow them to roam freely (Unless you specifically want them to be crated).

She made sure that the litterbox was cleaned up daily and that there was enough water for Cleo each day. Jewel made sure to write up a summary after each visit. I came back home to find Cleo as happy and healthy as she was before I left and that she had already been fed. She got along very well with Jewel based on the reports. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

Right now my family has a mini golden doodle who's been with us for 14 years and a mini Aussie doodle. I also have a pitbull mix named nova! She's two years old. About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. I like to walk and get my steps in everyday so it won’t be much different walking with the doggos. I have dog and catsit for close friends and family but never strangers. Excited to do it! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I am my own boss so I can pretty much take breaks whenever I need to take your fur baby on walks or feed them as well as give them lots of attention when needed. About: When I moved into my house in 2018, one of my first priorities was to get a dog. Recently, Addie, who spent the past 7 years with me, had to be put down unexpectedly. I miss her a ton, and I would love to open my home to another dog (the yard just calls out for it), but I am unable to adopt at the moment for logistical/financial reasons. I would love for your pets and I to keep each other company while I work from home during the day! I am a diligent and reliable person who works remotely as a paralegal, so I always need excuses (whether walks, play, food, snuggles, or just potty breaks) to get up from my desk and move at intervals throughout the work day. I love animals of all kinds - in addition to my own dog, I can submit my friends' pets as references (Mildred the cat likes me better than her owner's wife, and Maggie the dog is obsessed with me while spurning every other friend her owners have). I'm also a birdwatcher and a huge fan of all the wildlife in my yard, from bunnies to lizards. My dog training and medical/senior pet care skills are limited, but I am open to learning and strongly attentive to detail - I will be sure to give your pet what they need. I work from home during the week, with approximate hours of 7 am - 4 pm M-F. On Tuesdays I have appointments in the afternoons, so I will not be available for day care that day. Weekend availability will depend on my plans. I don't have any pets at home currently. I have a screened-in patio with a dog door leading to the fenced-in backyard. When the weather is nice (not too hot), I like to work in the patio. The yard backs onto a wash, so there is a lot of wildlife in the area. Javelinas and coyotes frequent the area but cannot get into the yard. I have seen two rattlesnakes in the yard in 7 years of living here. I would not leave small/medium dogs or cats outside unsupervised. If you give permission, I would feel comfortable leaving large dogs who are snake trained outside while I'm in the house (as I often did with my 80 lb golden doodle).

About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. I currently run a small 1 man business from my home and have control over my schedule to provide care to other animals regularly. I also foster other animals from time to time. My own dog is reactive and high energy and needs 3 walks a day usually with a lot of play. My cat is a large maincoon that requires a strict diet and care regimen to keep her pre-diabetes in check.

My first dog was a Chihuahua who lived to be 18, so I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs and making sure they stay comfortable as they grow older. About: I have experience taking care of boarding dogs and cats at an animal hospital. I worked for them for a little over a year and have gotten lots of experience with dogs and cats. I used to raise puppies and train them how to sit and have manners for about two years with my parent. I have dog sitting experience and house sitting experience. I am currently going to school at the UofA full time during the weekdays (my class schedule is listed below keep reading) and would be available most days to come and play with the animals for 30 minutes to an hour in the afternoons and overnight sitting. And on weekends I would be free to play with and walk the animals as needed. Class schedule: Mon 1pm-2pm Tue 9:30am-1pm then 3pm-5pm Wed 9am-2pm then 4pm-5pm Thur 9:30am-4pm Fri 1pm-2pm I do also have a job at the animal shelter for part time. That work schedule will vary but will be no more the 4-6 hours a day. Likely to be on the weekends to avoid conflict with school :) For my personal home, I will not be able to board any pets. Although I am very safe and responsible. My person pet uses a crate just for her safety when I am gone. I am good with crate training as needed for your pets as well. I make sure I clean up after every day and leave the house as clean as I can before you arrive back home to your happy animals!

About: I am a highly active person, I run daily and regularly work out at home. I have lived with and cared for multiple dogs over my life and have experience with both young energetic dogs and older dogs. I have a vehicle and would love to take dogs to the park or trail depending on their exercise needs. I can also provide grooming or bathing for any dog if necessary and will gladly care for dogs with special needs or dietary restrictions. I am currently a masters student at the University of Arizona and will be attending classes Monday-Friday with availability to care for pets in the afternoons or evenings. About: i’ve grown up with animals my whole life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. i really think there’s no better feeling than the joy and companionship animals bring, and i’d love the opportunity to care for yours. over the years, family and friends have trusted me to look after their dogs while they’re away, and i always ensure they receive the attention, exercise, and care they need. i grew up with my brother, who is a professional dog trainer, and while i don’t have the same level of training, i’ve learned so much from him over the years. i can help reinforce simple commands with puppies and younger dogs, and i’m just as happy giving extra love, patience, and attention to senior dogs. i have experience living with and caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors, so i’m confident i can meet the needs of every dog and their unique personality. i especially love spending time with high energy dogs who enjoy playing or going on walks, but i’m always happy to adjust my care to whatever makes your pet feel happiest and most comfortable. i am a college student at the university of arizona and am pretty flexible with my schedule. i can do really early mornings before class and most afternoons after class. i am also very open on the weekends and would love to help out whenever needed!!! i always make it a priority to pay attention to your pets’ needs and personalities so they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. i love spending time with animals and making sure they get the attention, exercise, and playtime they need throughout the day. i also love the calmer moments, like relaxing with them, giving them extra affection, or simply keeping them company when it’s time to wind down. i spend a lot of time with my own animals at home, making sure they receive the care, attention, and love they need to be happy, and i would love the opportunity to provide that same level of care to your pets.
About: I've had pets since I was a baby. My mother had a little wading pool and she used to put our pet ducklings in the water to swim with me. When I was five, I started bringing home injured animals. I've worked with everything from skunks to raptors to more common animals like dogs, cats, and horses. When I got old enough, I started volunteering for different rescue organizations. I will walk your pet frequently and give lots of cuddles. Pets are our children and soulmates. They teach us how we should be--they are angels that inhabit the earth for a short time. For important details: I only work with one client at a time so that I can supervise and care properly for your pet. I work remotely from home for a governmental organization, so I am home and available. My backyard has a 6 foot wall but no pet is left unsupervised. I do not smoke or allow others in the house when I am boarding a dog, as you do not know that person. I treat all my clients and their pets the way I’d want to be treated. As I said, I work remotely, so I am home with my dog during the day. We go to coffeehouses together to work sometimes and have plenty of playtime in the yard. She gets a really long walk at sunrise and has little ones throughout the day as well. Her happiness is my priority. I make sure she goes to her vet regularly and gets groomed, so that she can be healthy and feel her best. I have a large, walled backyard garden full of lots of places for a pet to sniff, yet it’s safe enough for them to explore. My dog does not go out there unsupervised. At sunset to night, I walk her on the leash back there to ensure predators don’t find her. She is a member of my family, and has her own special places and pillows to make her feel safe and comfortable.
About: I’ve been watching and caring for pets since I was little and have always had a love for animals. I’ve been taking care of neighbors and friends pets for years without any issues. About: Hello I’m Karinnah! I currently work full time as a veterinary assistant at an urgent care clinic. I got my VA certification from Pima Medical Institute in 2022 and have worked at multiple clinics over the last 4 years. I also have work history at a couple different boarding/daycare facilities prior to becoming a VA. I am very familiar with boarding, daycare, and veterinary environments so rest assured, your 4-legged pal is in responsible hands. I have worked with all kinds of dogs, cats, and other little beasties, nothing is too out of the ordinary for me these days. I grew up with many pups and kitties in my life so it’s a familiar feeling having animals around constantly. As a CVA I have professional training in general, emergency, intensive veterinary care so I am able to adjust to any of your pets medical needs if necessary. I am also a pet parent myself with 2 crazy dogs and 1 spicy cat and understand how important getting proper care for them is. My clinic is open weekdays from 3-11pm and weekends 10am-8pm. I am off on Saturday, Wednesday, and Thursdays typically. I can probably take bookings earlier in the day on days I work with enough notice. Whatever setup you have in your home I am willing to work with, it’s all about your buddy’s comfort and your peace of mind! If you have a reactive or aggressive dog I’m willing to do house calls. Any feeding or medication accommodations are fine with me as well.
About: I'm a lover of every animal I've ever met, with a background in pediatrics, medication administration, foster animal care, neo-natal pet care, first aid and pet/house sitting. This can include following special protocols, providing lots of photos and videos, and calling or texting immediately if something arises that I don't yet know the answer to, such as how to help an animal through a surprise stressful situation or where a favorite toy might be hiding. “We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard.
