“I had to leave last minute to Phoenix to help take care of my mom while my dad was away for work. Since the stay home order has been really hard on everyone, I didn’t think I would be able to find someone to take care of my dog. He’s very skittish, and gets stressed out and scared around men, so not many people I talked to could take him. Vicky was AMAZING. She sent me pictures 2-3 times daily and updated me on how he was doing. She even sent me a few videos! I was so scared to leave him with someone he had never met before, but he adjusted so well to Vicky’s kind and gentle nature and let him have exploring time in her home. I will forever be deeply grateful for what Vicky has done for me and Magnum, and her genuine kindness and passion she has for this work! I will be coming to Vicky for any dog boarding I need for Magnum! Honestly, I think if you’re reading this review that you should too. About: I’ve been a dog whisperer since I was a child. I have had dogs (one or two at a time) my whole life. We lost our last dog last year and don’t want the long term commitment of a new dog at this stage in our lives, but would love to take care of other people’s dogs. It is just myself and my husband in our household. I work from home part-time and if there are days that I would be showing property (realtor) I would not schedule a Rover sitting job. Also, I babysit a small child every Wednesday and Thursday. I have a fully fenced yard and no other dogs. I have no problem having dogs stay inside my home. “It was scary boarding our husky mix after a saddening experience with a previous boarder who under-exercised him, even after meeting Stephanie and being able to recognize the same passion I have for dogs, large breeds, and rescues. Stephanie went above and beyond for our pup's Christmas boarding, providing him everything that he needed physically and mentally during his stay to be his well-behaved, happy self! We were sent pictures of a pawliday photoshoot she did with him and she sent him home nice and clean, as well as with a goodie bag with treats and a toy for him and a separate bag for our two cats - who were not involved with the booking, but Stephanie was kind enough to include. We will stay in touch with Stephanie as our first choice for Bacchus with any future travel plans. ❤️”
“I had to leave last minute to Phoenix to help take care of my mom while my dad was away for work. Since the stay home order has been really hard on everyone, I didn’t think I would be able to find someone to take care of my dog. He’s very skittish, and gets stressed out and scared around men, so not many people I talked to could take him. Vicky was AMAZING. She sent me pictures 2-3 times daily and updated me on how he was doing. She even sent me a few videos! I was so scared to leave him with someone he had never met before, but he adjusted so well to Vicky’s kind and gentle nature and let him have exploring time in her home. I will forever be deeply grateful for what Vicky has done for me and Magnum, and her genuine kindness and passion she has for this work! I will be coming to Vicky for any dog boarding I need for Magnum! Honestly, I think if you’re reading this review that you should too. Vicky is incredibly kind and loving towards your pet, and always keeps you updated, so I will repeat with her again!!”

“Gina was so great with Hazel! Hazel can be a bit of a flight risk, so we’re always a little nervous about that, but Gina was very understanding and assured us they would be extra cautious. Gina sent pictures throughout Hazel’s stay and kept us updated. She took her to the dog park and on car rides which is perfect for Hazel who is high energy! She was also very flexible with meet and greet and pick up/drop off times as our schedule requires a later time. Would definitely book again!”

“Jennifer and her husband obviously love dogs. We went over for a pre-visit meet and greet that went wonderfully. When we went by to drop London off, he was pulling as hard as he could to get into the house to see his friends. We had absolutely no problem, we enjoyed meeting Jennifer and her husband and their dogs. When the need arises, Jen will be the first one we will contact. We also got several videos and pictures of our dog having fun with their dogs.”

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! Your dog will be in good hands.”
