“This was our Lab’s second stay. She thoroughly enjoys being around John, Water and their pup, Poppy. They always her much love, playtime and attention so she’s gotten a bit better about staying overnight. Poppy and my dog have become good buddies so I know she is very comfortable in their home. Our lab did have an accident while playing ball with another dog in the extended concrete patio area in the backyard. While jumping up to catch the ball, she bumped into the other dog and ended up pulling a ligament in her hind leg (had Vet check her the following day). Water promptly called me to inform me she was limping and explained what had happened. I sincerely appreciated her concern and so relieved it wasn’t something much worse. Water always kept us informed throughout our dog’s weekend stay with texts and pictures. Hoping down the road that Water and John can make a play area that is conducive for running and catching balls with a soft surface so we can bring our dog back. I know she really likes being with them! As a very active lab who loves playing and chasing balls, she always gets playtime from Water and John. Thank you Water and John, you guys are such gems.”

About: My parents told me my first word was dog. I have loved dogs from the moment I entered this world. I got my first dog when I was 8 and it was fully my responsibility to care for him. He was my baby and I wanted him to be apart of everything I did. Now I have my own kiddos who love dogs more than anything. They are eager to have pups around and they love helping out with them. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have a 12 year old male Labrador and a 4 year old female cat. They are both friendly and accepting of visiting dogs. About: I've had animals all my life, they've been a constant joy. I've worked with animals in a professional setting, as an assistant to a Professional Dog Trainer. While working with a Dog Trainer, I've interacted with many different types of animals (even their temperaments at times) such as different dog breeds and sizes, as well as cats. For dogs being trained, as well as those being boarded, I was responsible for feedings, any medications that needed to be administered, crating and uncrating dogs for bathroom breaks, cleaning of all outside kennels and inside crates, I also bathed and groomed dogs before they returned home. Other than dogs and cats, I'm also experienced in working with reptiles, rabbits, fish, etc. I am very careful and respectful to all animals and their environments and schedules. I've also done overnight house and dog sitting for friends and family. Outside of my resume, I truly love animals and enjoy meeting new furry friends. With that said, I look forward to taking care of your fur babies! I also work part-time, as well as from home, & will be able to give your pups all the exercise they need. Sometimes I will be in & out of your home, as I have other clients, but will always make sure your animals are taken care of regardless of my schedule. I will follow all procedures you give me. About: I’ve dog sat for my family for extended periods of time (3 weeks to over a month at a time), watching multiple dogs of varying sizes. I also have experience watching friends dogs, including a senior dog who needs around the clock care. “We have never used Rover before, but Miriam was wonderful. She took in our 2 dogs as if they were hers. She played with the guys and worked with them to get them to eat (which is no small chore with our guys). She has a wonderful house with a great back yard and our dogs made themselves at home. She sent us pictures and video's of the guys while we were on vacation and shared how they were progressing. It is obvious that she loves dogs and I would not hesitate to book her again if we went out of town. She went above and beyond in her caring for the dogs.”

“This was our Lab’s second stay. She thoroughly enjoys being around John, Water and their pup, Poppy. They always her much love, playtime and attention so she’s gotten a bit better about staying overnight. Poppy and my dog have become good buddies so I know she is very comfortable in their home. Our lab did have an accident while playing ball with another dog in the extended concrete patio area in the backyard. While jumping up to catch the ball, she bumped into the other dog and ended up pulling a ligament in her hind leg (had Vet check her the following day). Water promptly called me to inform me she was limping and explained what had happened. I sincerely appreciated her concern and so relieved it wasn’t something much worse. Water always kept us informed throughout our dog’s weekend stay with texts and pictures. Hoping down the road that Water and John can make a play area that is conducive for running and catching balls with a soft surface so we can bring our dog back. I know she really likes being with them! As a very active lab who loves playing and chasing balls, she always gets playtime from Water and John. Thank you Water and John, you guys are such gems.”

Stephanie was great about sending photos with little updates and even though we missed him terribly while we were away, I knew he was being loved and cuddled in our absence.
