“I am delighted that Shawna and Ethan R took my dog for a day. They welcomed us warmly and were patient with his puppy behavior. He received great attention and supervision while he played outside with their 2 dogs of similar size. I received several photos, and he came home happy and ready to rest. We had a great experience! I knew he was well cared for, and he had a great time!”

“Ashley does such a good job of attending to all the dogs in her care, which we can verify because she sends short videos throughout the day showing how each dog is getting along. I’m very pleased and happy for my little two year old Sunny Girl who stays with Ashley twice a week. I especially wanted Sunny Girl to have a chance to play and run with other dogs, and she’s getting that.”

“Very welcoming and super attentive! Diesel had surgery recently and they had no problems getting him his meds and keeping him comfortable during his recovery period. They kept me updated and I was definitely at ease with their care. Diesel felt right at home there. Definitely recommend !”

“Sally is great! She was very friendly and welcoming to our dog, Finnegan. Sally was also super communicative and flexible with our schedule. Would definitely recommend her to others!”

“Water and John are very warm and friendly. They love dogs and are wonderful, communicative caregivers. They were extremely accommodating when I had a last minute request for daycare for my dog. Thank you to you both for being the kind and caring human beings that you are.”

“Darlene has been amazing! My dog Rosie seems to really love her! Rosie was able to immediately feel at home and Darlene has been so caring and loving toward her. I hate leaving Rosie, but I felt really good about leaving her with Darlene, who is such a caring and dog-understanding person.”

“Both Rio and Jen were wonderful with our dog Rosie. Everything went smoothly. Their welcoming attitude alongside a great house for dogs --with a patio and pee area) made it an easy experience for Rosie and for us.”

“Allison was kind, friendly, and a great sitter for Katniss! She showed care and attention with Katniss and was very flexible with us as our plans changed with our reservation! She showed knowledge of introducing dogs to each other, as her dogs became friends with Katniss right away! We are so appreciative of Allison and Katniss is always looking forward to her next play date with her dogs!”

“Iam so happy I found slyvie! Snowie and I are so happy with her service and even tho is hard to leave my baby I know she is in amazing hands and having fun ♥️ I received so many pictures and I loved that thank you slyvie for taking snowie in”

“Brin did a wonderful job transitioning my recently rescued dog and me into using daycare. I was nervous at first, but Brin took the time on our initial visit to learn about my dog and my concerns. It's working out better than expected due to Brin. Great service!”

“Steve provided excellent dog sitting! Our pups had a blast with his dogs. He's accommodating and responded quickly, even on short notice. Appreciated the frequent updates and photos.”

About: 8+ years caring for dogs, cats, and special needs pets — patient, gentle, and always treating your pets like my own. I’m comfortable with seniors, puppies, shy pets, and administering medication. At home, I share life with my “doggie brother” Scottie (a sweet, sociable dog) and my own “doggie son” Colby (a playful corgi puppy). Living with them has given me daily, hands-on experience meeting different needs and personalities. I adapt my care so every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. Expect regular updates, photos, and a whole lot of tail wags (or purrs!). I’m available every day, including most evenings, and can work with a variety of schedules. Pet care is my main focus, so you can count on consistent, reliable service. I’m happy to accommodate both regular bookings and last-minute needs (for boarding or house sitting, I prefer 3–5 days’ notice when possible). I mainly serve the Tanque Verde area and nearby neighborhoods. My home is quiet, low-traffic, and pet-friendly — perfect for boarding. Message me with your dates or special requests, and I’ll do my best to make it work! Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I tailor care to each pet’s unique personality, creating a calm, loving environment that feels like home. For Dogs: My home is fully equipped for canine guests — multiple comfy beds, fresh food and water bowls, high-quality dog food, puzzle toys for mental stimulation, leashes for walks, grooming supplies, dental care items, and plenty of healthy treats. A secure fenced yard provides safe, supervised outdoor time. For Cats: I have cozy cat beds, scratching posts, and toys ready for play. To keep your cat’s routine familiar, I ask owners to bring their own litter box, litter, food, medications, and any favorite items that bring comfort. This helps reduce stress and make the transition smooth. Meet My Resident Pets: • Scottie (West Highland Terrier): Gentle with cats and friendly with all dogs. Experienced in living harmoniously with cats. Greets politely and gives space after an initial sniff. • Colby (Pembroke Welsh Corgi): A playful puppy with great adaptability, quick to settle after meeting new friends. Always friendly, even with bigger dogs. Both are fully vaccinated, well-socialized, and groomed regularly. They’re used to meeting new pets and can be kept separate if your pet prefers solo time. What You Can Expect: I follow all owner instructions carefully, maintain a clean pet-friendly space, and provide the right mix of play, exercise, and relaxation. Whether your pet loves cuddles or active play, they’ll get individualized attention and care — so you can travel with peace of mind.
“Very nice young woman! My Ranger seemed very calm and relaxed in her home when I went to pick him up. He is just a young pup and she was able to manage him. I was really happy with her quick response to my last minute request, it was a life saver! Would recommend!”

“I'm visiting from out of town, and Abbygail took my very last-minute daycare request. She checked in with me a couple of times throughout the day and even sent a short video of my old girl. Responded quickly to my questions as well. Administered medicine, fed her dinner. My Luna was very relaxed when I picked her up, and I trust that she was in good hands with Abby.”

“Rachel is a fabulous loving pup sitter! She got here on time! She played with the dogs took them out for poo and pee fed them sent a picture to me! I highly recommend Rachel for pup sitting!!!!!”

About: My parents told me my first word was dog. I have loved dogs from the moment I entered this world. I got my first dog when I was 8 and it was fully my responsibility to care for him. He was my baby and I wanted him to be apart of everything I did. Now I have my own kiddos who love dogs more than anything. They are eager to have pups around and they love helping out with them. I stay at home so your pet will have 24 hour care. I have a HUGE yard where your pup can play and great paths for walking. I also live right around the corner from a huge dog park if you want your pup to socialize I would be happy to take them there as well! I have a fenced in yard that has shade all hours of the day. My home is dog friendly and I will be happy to Crate your pup if I step away so that your dog will be safe at all times.
Desert Palms Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Stephanie did a wonderful job. Sadie was a little or a lot high maintenance this stay, as it was a last minute reservation without her routine and lots of home drama, but Stephanie took it in stride and took good care of her. Lots of “extras”. I don’t want to create expectations, but she went above and beyond!

Ashley manages all the dogs so lovingly and intelligently that my dog loves to come to daycare each week. I find Ashley has good advice for questions I pose about my young Sunny Girl that come from her broad experience with dogs. Daycare with Ashley’s Wonderland Dog Resort has been a terrific investment in my dog’s education and welfare.
