“Ashley is great! Shadow is excited to go and see her everytime and when she comes back home she is already looking forward to the next visit! I recommend Ashely to everyone.”

“I am delighted that Shawna and Ethan R took my dog for a day. They welcomed us warmly and were patient with his puppy behavior. He received great attention and supervision while he played outside with their 2 dogs of similar size. I received several photos, and he came home happy and ready to rest. We had a great experience! I knew he was well cared for, and he had a great time!”

“Stephanie was so great. It’s hard to leave your babies with a stranger anytime, especially when you’re from out of state, but she put us at ease immediately. The vast number of amazing reviews, to her immediate responsiveness from booking, to check-in and even to picking up a bit early made us feel confident and comfortable. Then … we received updates and photos through the duration of Lexi & Winnie’s stay. It was almost like being there with them when we couldn’t be. I melted when she shared Lexi curling up at her feet and stuck close to her. Dogs know when they can be comfortable with a stranger. Thanks Stephanie! There’s a chance we’ll be back to visit over the next year or two and we’ll definitely look you up!!!”

“Allison was kind, friendly, and a great sitter for Katniss! She showed care and attention with Katniss and was very flexible with us as our plans changed with our reservation! She showed knowledge of introducing dogs to each other, as her dogs became friends with Katniss right away! We are so appreciative of Allison and Katniss is always looking forward to her next play date with her dogs!”

“Barbara, was great. Her house and yard were perfect for Jokie and he loved being able to visit with the other dogs and Barbara’s grandkids! We will definitely use her again.”

“Wonderful! I had a doctor appointment across from Steve's house. He met me there and walked Sam. Sam was smiling when he came back! Pup's tell it all, lol I thought Steve was a real gentleman and could tell he liked animals. I will use Steve again.”

“We think that Willow enjoyed her time with Sylvie and the other pups! She was calm and happy on the way home, not whiny and upset like when we picked her up from her other daycare facility.”

“Sally is great! She was very friendly and welcoming to our dog, Finnegan. Sally was also super communicative and flexible with our schedule. Would definitely recommend her to others!”

“Karen and Brennen were amazing and took great care of my dog. We had a meet and greet beforehand that make me feel that my dog was going to be really safe and happy with them. They send me several pictures during the days my dog stayed with them. Moreover, my always seemed happy when I picked him up. Definitely will leave Max in their care again”

“Water and John are very warm and friendly. They love dogs and are wonderful, communicative caregivers. They were extremely accommodating when I had a last minute request for daycare for my dog. Thank you to you both for being the kind and caring human beings that you are.”

“Alex is great! Invited me in his home to see where reward was gonna play. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with him. Alex sent pictures throughout the day and always kept me informed.”

About: My parents told me my first word was dog. I have loved dogs from the moment I entered this world. I got my first dog when I was 8 and it was fully my responsibility to care for him. He was my baby and I wanted him to be apart of everything I did. Now I have my own kiddos who love dogs more than anything. They are eager to have pups around and they love helping out with them. I stay at home so your pet will have 24 hour care. I have a HUGE yard where your pup can play and great paths for walking. I also live right around the corner from a huge dog park if you want your pup to socialize I would be happy to take them there as well! I have a fenced in yard that has shade all hours of the day. My home is dog friendly and I will be happy to Crate your pup if I step away so that your dog will be safe at all times.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have a 12 year old male Labrador and a 4 year old female cat. They are both friendly and accepting of visiting dogs. I am retired one year. My days are spent primarily at home, working in my garden and doing household chores. We’re pretty laidback and enjoy staying close to our animals and home. I have a fully fenced backyard with a pool that is fenced off from the main yard. I have a screened back patio that my cat and dog love hanging out on cool mornings and evenings.
“Abby was great! I was in a pickle as I had to have workers come out to my house within 12 hours and my dog couldn’t be present. I couldn’t find any care for her but Abby came through. She was VERY flexible as I work unpredictable long hours and constantly sent me photos and updates. It was a very hectic day for me, but she was always calm, accommodating and soo sweet it took a huge burden off me. Will def be booking her in the future. My baby had so much fun just getting 1-1 attention all day from Abby. She really does love the animals she watches and wants to help the owners. She’s prompt, transparent and genuine. She really does have all the love in the world for animals and people. 10/10 recommend.”

“Rachel is a fabulous loving pup sitter! She got here on time! She played with the dogs took them out for poo and pee fed them sent a picture to me! I highly recommend Rachel for pup sitting!!!!!”

“Shanda is awesome! She is very communicative and always willing to help! Mango enjoys her stay with Shanda and enjoys her playtime with the other pups that are there. She is my go-to everytime I am in need of help with Mango.”

“Both Rio and Jen were wonderful with our dog Rosie. Everything went smoothly. Their welcoming attitude alongside a great house for dogs --with a patio and pee area) made it an easy experience for Rosie and for us.”

“Darlene has been amazing! My dog Rosie seems to really love her! Rosie was able to immediately feel at home and Darlene has been so caring and loving toward her. I hate leaving Rosie, but I felt really good about leaving her with Darlene, who is such a caring and dog-understanding person.”

About: I’ve been a dog whisperer since I was a child. I have had dogs (one or two at a time) my whole life. We lost our last dog last year and don’t want the long term commitment of a new dog at this stage in our lives, but would love to take care of other people’s dogs. It is just myself and my husband in our household. I work from home part-time and if there are days that I would be showing property (realtor) I would not schedule a Rover sitting job. Also, I babysit a small child every Wednesday and Thursday. I have a fully fenced yard and no other dogs. I have no problem having dogs stay inside my home. I am happy to go to the client’s home as well.

Desert Palms Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ashley and her family are the best! We were in town to deal with some business and with varying hours and she happily was very flexible about what time we needed to pick our Lily up! Our dog had a blast and was pulling on the leash to get back to the door when we brought her back after the first day. Ashley provided walks, training sessions, rest time and playtime. Our dog is on a low-fat diet for medical reasons and she conscientiously gave her the treats we brought. She sends several videos during the day so you can see your baby. There were a couple other dogs in care at the same time and she did an excellent job of introducing and monitoring the dogs. Overall a wonderful experience! We don’t live in Tucson but if we ever return for a visit we would definitely use her again and we highly recommend her to others ❤️

Stephanie did a wonderful job. Sadie was a little or a lot high maintenance this stay, as it was a last minute reservation without her routine and lots of home drama, but Stephanie took it in stride and took good care of her. Lots of “extras”. I don’t want to create expectations, but she went above and beyond!
