I have 2 golden retriever girls, 8 and 4 years old. I have raised them since they were puppies. I have also taken care of friends’ dogs and I have had dogs my entire life. My Luna just passed (2025).

We’ve booked Miriam before and were so happy to have her watch our pup again—this time for three weeks. She took incredible care of her and sent photos and videos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our pup clearly had a wonderful time with Miriam and her family. She loved playing with Miriam’s golden retriever, and it was especially sweet to see how much our pup adored Miriam’s daughter. It truly felt like our pup was part of their family while she was there. We’re so grateful for the care and attention they gave her and would happily book with Miriam again. Highly recommend! 🐾

Miriam was so great with my dog, Nova! She sent me lots of pictures every day which made me feel good that Nova was being well taken care of. I could tell Nova had a ton of fun and she didn’t want to leave! I would definitely have Miriam watch my dog again and would recommend her to others.

Schedule
I’m a stay at home mom and dog lover full time, sometimes I work as a substitute teacher part time (4 hours) but there is always someone at home, either husband, daughters (18-20yo) and our golden retriever to keep them company those 4 hours. Me and my family we all love dogs. 🐾💕

Safety, trust & environment
We have a big enough yard with a swimming pool, but our dogs are rarely outside, they are inside dogs and are part of the family, oh and they love AC (lol). We have a doggie door so they can freely go in and out. We also have a big crate if needed.
Pets
A typical day
Depending on the weather but our dogs prefer to stay indoors during hot days, we have a big backyard with a pool in case they want to play outside.
