“I boarded my 20 pound Miniature Schnauzer with Ron for a period of ten days while in Hawaii. My pup is an important part of my family and I want him to feel as if he is also having a vacation while I am away. After carefully researching every available boarding option I decided on Ron. I met Ron for a meet and greet before the actual boarding and his responsible and trustworthy nature was evident. Ron also has a beautifully landscaped and secure back yard. Lastly, Ron's Poodle Lily made an excellent companion to my proportionately sized Miniature Schnauzer. In my opinion, the combination of these qualities make's Ron the best choice for small dog boarding in Tucson. My schnauzer had a joyous time frolicking and cuddling with Ron's poodle while I was away. Ron did a great job of sending photos. The photos showed that my pup was eating, enjoying time on the couch and even cuddled in bed next to Ron's poodle. I received photos throughout my trip (not just the first few days) and these photos convinced me that my pup was having just as much fun as I was. Ron is a primary school teacher which is an occupation that I have much respect for and is illustrative of his good character. Ron also has a love of plants which is evident in his beautiful green yard with lots of shady places for dogs to rest and play. I was also very pleased that Ron has a dog door that my 20 pound schnauzer was able to fit through easily for constant back yard access. Overall, I do not think there is a better choice for small dog boarding in Tucson. My pup actually seemed sad to leave Ron and his poodle Lily. It was a great opportunity for my dog to socialize and play with another well trained dog. My dog came back happy, well exercised and without a trace of anxiety. In conclusion, Ron is a kind, intelligent, and caring animal lover. I would not hesitate to board my much loved miniature schnauzer with him next time I go on vacation. Ron's tranquil home and general attitude make the experience a vacation for your pet.”

“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. When we came back we found that our dog had such a good time that I'm not sure she wanted to leave! Needless to say that Cynthia will be our first choice to watch our dog whenever the need arises! I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. I like to walk and get my steps in everyday so it won’t be much different walking with the doggos. I have dog and catsit for close friends and family but never strangers. Excited to do it! I work from home and my job is very flexible. About: I’ve always been that person who helps out with family pets just because I love taking care of them. A few years ago, I finally got a dog of my own, and that’s when I really got into training—learning how to communicate with her, build routines, and understand how she thinks. Now, I bring that same care and attention to every pet I watch, making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I am a college student with a flexible schedule. This means i can adjust my availability based on your pets' needs, whether it's check-ins throughout the day or last minute help. The well-being of pets, even those I don't own, is always something that I pay close attention to. I have taken care of my pregnant dog twice, helping her deliver and tending to newborn puppies. Right now I am in between jobs so I'm very free, which is why I'm very flexible and taking care of your pets will be my priority. There might be an occasional weekend once a month where I might be busy but that would the only conflicting issue. The rest of the time I will be very flexible and work with your needs. My home is mostly suitable for cats or dogs that live indoors. There's a lot of green areas right outside my home and in the community for a dog to play in but it's not a fenced yard. For a cat, my house has cat trees, litter box, plenty of toys and everything they might need. I do have a cat and a dog if your pet does good with other pets.

About: I've worked the past three years at a local dog grooming salon and pet supply store and am currently volunteering at a cat shelter, and I am very comfortable with pets of all sizes, breeds, and ages. Much of my previous job was spent hands-on with the dogs in the store and getting to know our customers. Additionally, I work in the medical ward of the cat shelter, giving me lots of experience with senior and disabled cats and kittens. I have experience de-escalating situations between dogs and reading dog and cat behavior. I've spent my entire life around animals, from dogs to birds to horses, and I absolutely love all of them! I am currently enrolled in night classes at cosmetology school, but I am available all day Fridays-Sundays. During weekdays, I will be available all morning, giving me plenty of time to care for pets! I have a senior dog of my own and am very patient and positive. I can easily crate most sized dogs if needed and safely lift dogs up to 45 pounds.
About: I helped birth puppies 3 years ago at least 3 times in the course of a year and it was the best experience of my life I currently am a freshman at the university of arizona and need some extra money to start saving for an apartment next year and also for food etc. I always make sure the pet has food and water and always is taken care of 25/8!
