“Exceptional! Carly is a shy dog with others but because Sheila and David are such "dog people", they sent pics every day of Carly, peacefully laying on their laps! This was the first time ever boarding Carly and she is not used to having other dogs around her but, their own dogs, Mellow and Jaxon were well behaved and welcomed Carly. Mellow even shared his crate with Carly when she wanted a quiet place of "her own". The daily texts and pics were fun and welcome. Their home is perfectly set up for boarding multiple dogs if needed. The outdoor spaces are perfect! Plenty of shade and spacious enough to lounge or run around. I can't recommend Shiela and David more highly. If it is your first time boarding your fur-baby, and you are nervous about it, choose Shiela and David. You can rest assured that your baby, even a baby as shy as Carly, is well cared for with Shiela and David.”

Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. About: Hi! I've had my cat Olive for 11 years and my dog Bel for 3 years. I have also taken care of close to 70 foster animals mostly kittens, with a few medical fosters, and behavioral issues along the way. I have taken courses on behavioral training for dogs as my own dog is reactive towards dogs, so I am very familiar with dog reactivity. About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. I like to walk and get my steps in everyday so it won’t be much different walking with the doggos. I have dog and catsit for close friends and family but never strangers. Excited to do it! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I am my own boss so I can pretty much take breaks whenever I need to take your fur baby on walks or feed them as well as give them lots of attention when needed. About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I’ve always been that person who helps out with family pets just because I love taking care of them. A few years ago, I finally got a dog of my own, and that’s when I really got into training—learning how to communicate with her, build routines, and understand how she thinks. Now, I bring that same care and attention to every pet I watch, making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I am a college student with a flexible schedule. This means i can adjust my availability based on your pets' needs, whether it's check-ins throughout the day or last minute help. About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My first dog was a Chihuahua who lived to be 18, so I learned a lot about caring for senior dogs and making sure they stay comfortable as they grow older. I've also grown up around horses and farm animals, and I even had a leopard gecko for a couple years. Most of my friends and family have dogs too, so I've spent plenty of time around all kinds of personalities and energy levels. Being around animals has always been something I enjoy! I'm a full time college student, so I have lots of extra time to care for your beloved companions! I have my own transportation and extremely flexible times. I live in an apartment with my Belgian Malinois, so I know firsthand how important exercise, structure, and routine can be, especially for high-energy dogs! I'm very organized and always do my best to stick to each pet's normal schedule so they feel comfortable and at home.

She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. She played with the guys and worked with them to get them to eat (which is no small chore with our guys). She has a wonderful house with a great back yard and our dogs made themselves at home.
