“We needed someone to watch our older dog while we were away for a week. Being new to the area we really didn't know anyone and we wanted our dog to be in a home environment where she wouldn't be alone. My wife found Cynthia on Rover and we went over to meet her. We were immediately impressed by the secure yard and surroundings. Our dog immediately bonded with her little dog Chewey. To make sure, we arranged two "play days" to make sure that all went well. Everything went better than expected and I, being an overly protective pet parent, felt at ease with leaving our dog for a week. I had nothing to worry about. Cynthia took great care of our dog, sent us regular updates including pictures and videos. She let our dog settle-in at her house where ever our dog felt most at ease and took her out for regular walks and time in the yard. She also shared her eating pattern. I would recommend her and use her again. If your a laid back pet parent with a no super fussy or high maintenance pet, give her a try. “Daryleen is literally a God send. Not only is she sweet but she’s amazing at communicating and I didn’t have to question a thing the entire time my kitty stayed with her. I had to book with her last minute because my original sitter had to abruptly cancel right before my trip. Daryleen was more happy to take her in(on Easter weekend at that). Freya(my kitty) had just gotten spayed two days before I had to drop her off and Daryleen has experience with spayed kittens due to having her own. She had zero issues getting her cone on and off and provided a safe place for my baby to heal all while showering her with love and attention. I had constant updates throughout the day with pics and video that included pretty much all her daily activities. “We left our Chihuahua Jack Russell mix with Barbara for a whole long day while we came to town to attended a graduation. We were apprehensive about leaving our baby anywhere mostly because he can be kinda crazy lol but she instantly made us feel very comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. You can tell that she genuinely loves dogs and is very comfortable with them. Her home is very inviting and secure and just perfect for four-legged friends. There were two other "guests" there and I kind of felt like I was leaving him at a little doggy party. He seemed happy from the get-go so that made us happy to leave him there. She was also very flexible with our time to drop off and pick up. And very easy to communicate with sending us pictures throughout the day. Her rate was great too! I would highly recommend Barbara and we'll definitely use her again again if the need arises! Thanks for loving Henry for us yesterday Barbara!”

About: I am a deaf person but it doesn’t stop me from taking care of animals! I own a deaf dog and taught basic signs to him so he can communicate with me with his needs. I took care of cats/dogs/other animals. (A big fan of animals). I will give all my attention to the pets! I once saved a goldfish from bladder diseases. And many things to tell about! I have plenty of time to take care of! I live in Tucson, Arizona. I do not have any part-time or full-time jobs so I am available at anytime during weekly and weekends. About: I've loved dogs my whole life! When I was born my mom had a chocolate lab and a doberman. Then my dad got a rescue pitbull and a husky mix. Right now my family has a mini golden doodle who's been with us for 14 years and a mini Aussie doodle. I also have a pitbull mix named nova! She's two years old. I’ve never met an animal that didn’t like me! I just graduated esthetician school and I’m currently starting my business. Everything I make on rover goes towards my career! About: I've had dogs most of my life. First was Lance, a Springer Spaniel, when i was 4-yrs old. Add German Shorthair Pointers, Weimeraners, Labs, both English and Anerican Cocker Spaniels, terrier mix breeds and my current pup is a Long Hair Chihuahua. Most of my dogs have been shelter rescues. Also, I foster dogs for local shelters. I am retired and spend most of my time at home working in my new garden reading, or crafting. When we have dog guests, our time is devoted primarily to our visitors. Human away time rarely exceeds 4-hrs per day. I have a large fenced yard to run and play in whenever they want Chewy, the Chihuahua, is a friendly companion. Indoors is a dog-friendly/dog priority 3-bdrm home. Plenty of space if a visitor needs some quiet privacy or a mim with pups wants separation. Daily walks add to our exercise regime. Balls, frisbees and dogs are shared. Treats abound!

About: I’ve always been that person who helps out with family pets just because I love taking care of them. A few years ago, I finally got a dog of my own, and that’s when I really got into training—learning how to communicate with her, build routines, and understand how she thinks. Now, I bring that same care and attention to every pet I watch, making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I am a college student with a flexible schedule. About: I have had pets all my life and don't mind taking care of others pets in times of need or vacations that come up. I enjoy animals, and all the cookiness that comes with them. I'm currently working pet sitting full time, so that means your pets will have lots of attention and care. I'll be every morning and afternoon for potty breaks/ feeding time. If your pets require special feedings or bathroom breaks let me know and we can work something out. I have two dogs of my own and I feed them every morning and afternoon and give them the daily walk to help them get exercise and fresh air.
