“This was our first experience using Rover and we were so pleased! Rachel (and her husband and her beautiful Great Dane named Bixby) watched our dog for 2 weeks while we were on a trip. Our dog has anxiety issues so we wanted to meet Rachel before so that our dog could get comfortable around her. Rachel was so accommodating! We actually got to meet up twice before our trip. Rachel even welcomed us to her home so that our dog could get used to the new environment and meet the other dogs. We hung out and chat for probably an hour. I'm certain this helped our baby tremendously when we left. This was a lot of extra time Rachel put in for our doggo's wellbeing, and we are so grateful. We were concerned for our poor nervous dog, and Rachel put our minds at ease by sending us pictures and videos almost every day, with little updates. She got along with the other pups, and she looked to be having fun! Despite all of our best efforts, our pupper was clearly sad we were gone and didn't want to eat very much. She lost a bit of weight in those two weeks (which is no surprise given her separation anxiety), but based on her behavior when we picked her up, I know that Rachel and her husband did her right. They clearly earned her trust as she went up to them for cuddles, even when we were available for cuddles. That said more to me than anything else and spoke volumes as to how well our baby was cared for.”

About: I grew up with a lab/pitbull mix, and have lived with other big dogs. I get along with all puppies, and am down to lounge with them, walk them, or play! I am a remote worker, so I plan to walk dogs on my lunch break (approximately 12 PM - 1 PM). I can also check in on dogs and feed them as needed. I always make sure they have food and water, and feel safe in their environment. I’m not one to push a dog out of their comfort zone, but I will always approach your puppy with kindness and consideration.
About: I grew up with dogs and cats, have fostered in the past, and continue to care for my friend’s pets while they are away. I am open to house-sit, drop in, or go on however long of a walk your best friend needs. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets in their own homes, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I have experience with different breeds and temperaments - cuddlers, partiers, grouches, and loungers all deserve love! I can’t wait to spend time with your best friend and give you peace of mind. I work full time, but work from home Mondays and Fridays. Currently I could do drop-ins and walks anytime Fridays through Mondays. For Tuesday through Thursday, I would only be available early morning and evening. I’m available any day for house sitting stays which includes overnight care in your home with evening and morning routines. We can discuss if midday drop-in or walk are needed on the days i’m in the office. Drop-ins include feeding, water refresh, play/potty time, and quick updates. Walks include a 30-minute walk at your dog’s usual pace, leash handling, water refill if needed, and notes to the owner. If your dog needs longer than 30 minutes, Incan also do a longer walk for an hour. I make a point to ensure pets are following their schedules and any training they are working on. I always make sure to double check any needs/wants with the owner, to make sure pets are at their most comfortable. Let me know how your pet thrives in their environment, the more details the better! About: Hi everyone! I am an animal lover and would love to help you out by letting your pets out during the day, taking them on walks, or even watching them while you are out of town. I have grown up with both dogs and cats all my life, as of right now though I currently only have a cat but love dogs just as much. I’m extremely patient, understanding, and trustworthy. I’m comfortable with both large and small dogs, and of course puppies! I am flexible with whatever your pet’s needs might be, just let me know and I’m sure we can figure out a way to provide them with the care that they need. I look forward to meeting you all and your pets! I currently work full time during the week but free in the evenings. I am available during the week after 4p and anytime on the weekends. I currently live in an apartment so if pets stayed with me, they would need to be comfortable with cats and quiet due to apt living. I am comfortable coming to your house and looking after dogs or cats.
About: I would love to spend time with your pup(s) and give you peace of mind while you are traveling, busy for the day or working. I know how important pets are to families and individuals so I will treat them like my own! I also have a Golden retriever who is great with any and all size dogs. She has truly never met a person or dog that she doesn’t like! I have a flexible schedule as I work remote so I can be available based your dogs schedule. Also I frequent dog parks to get my Golden’s energy out and would be happy to take your dog(s) as well. Please let me know if you have any additional questions! I love to go on walks in the morning/early evening and spend time cuddling on the couch. What ever your dog needs, I’m available to serve! I am searching for jobs so I am on my computer at home for 2-3 hours a day, perfect for nap time. I have a very pet friendly home so the more the merrier! There is a park across the street and designated dog stations for them to potty.

About: I grew up raising and caring for dogs, gaining hands-on experience with feeding, training, grooming, and understanding different breeds’ behaviors, needs, and personalities in a loving, responsible environment. I am available during the day but I work from 1a-11a . Please note that my children may also be present at my home during the stay. “This was our first experience using Rover and we were so pleased! Rachel (and her husband and her beautiful Great Dane named Bixby) watched our dog for 2 weeks while we were on a trip. Our dog has anxiety issues so we wanted to meet Rachel before so that our dog could get comfortable around her. Rachel was so accommodating! We actually got to meet up twice before our trip. Rachel even welcomed us to her home so that our dog could get used to the new environment and meet the other dogs. We hung out and chat for probably an hour. I'm certain this helped our baby tremendously when we left. This was a lot of extra time Rachel put in for our doggo's wellbeing, and we are so grateful. We were concerned for our poor nervous dog, and Rachel put our minds at ease by sending us pictures and videos almost every day, with little updates. She got along with the other pups, and she looked to be having fun! Despite all of our best efforts, our pupper was clearly sad we were gone and didn't want to eat very much. She lost a bit of weight in those two weeks (which is no surprise given her separation anxiety), but based on her behavior when we picked her up, I know that Rachel and her husband did her right. They clearly earned her trust as she went up to them for cuddles, even when we were available for cuddles. That said more to me than anything else and spoke volumes as to how well our baby was cared for.”

About: I care for a mini golden doodle for one year since a puppy now I care for a calico cat that’s one years old thanks. I work for KCFD and have some much extra time and would love to take care of your animals I work two days on two days off every other weekend I love playing around the house with the dogs and love going on runs and walks being outside when the weather is nice is everything

I have lived in KC for 10 years and finally got my puppy, Lola, in May of 2025! 🐶 I work during the days Monday - Friday, but my schedule is more flexible during the summer months. I am available most evenings and weekends! I live downtown in a condo on the first floor. There is a grassy area right outside my back door. I am close to dog parks and enjoy going for walks around my neighborhood.
