About: As a young child I begged my parents to get a dog. I took the “D” encyclopedia into my room every night to study dog breeds. I spent years consuming every dog book I could get my hands on. I even created a dog walking business, made fliers, and handed them out to all of my neighbors. I finally got a puppy in 1st grade. She was my best friend. She went along with all of my crazy antics as I tried to make her a sled dog, a hunting dog, and even an agility dog. I also had fish, lizards, and a rabbit. I now live in KC with my husband and our baby! We recently lost both of our senior dogs. I wish I could adopt all of the dogs in need! In the meantime, I would love to help take care of yours. I work from home! That means I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your precious dog. I only ask that your dog gets along with babies/kids. About: We have been boarding and training since 2013. Starting off at a large kennel, then moving to our own business in-home in 2020. Licensed (city and state kennel licence) and inspected by Department of Agricultural, our vet and Kansas City Animal control. Kevin and Heidi full time dog care and training. Potty breaks every 2-3 hours. We provide socialization with yard time and play with breaks from weather as necessary. All yard times and out times are fully supervised by a behavior specialist. Baths are options as we have an industrial dog bath. Fully fenced yard with double gates. As well as double gates inside the home leading to outside. Separate seven hundred square foot kennel area located in-home. Epoxy floors, painted bright walls, air purification and music during noisy holidays and storms. 24 hour audio/visual monitored by trainers.
About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 15, starting with my family dog, and now I have Nacho, my big baby! Over the years, I've had the pleasure of dog-sitting many pups. My husband and I both love dogs, and Nacho loves them too! I believe discipline and training are key for dogs, and I always make sure to put in the effort to ensure my dog is well-trained. About: I’ve been the resident cat and dog sitter since I was a teen in my family and friend group. I have worked with dogs big and small, and cats of many temperaments. I have been an overnight sitter for both animals, and have experience walking, playing, following routines, and making the pets feel comfortable and loved. I have followed medication routines and given medications for both cats and dogs as well when needed, and am comfortable doing so. I am currently working part time while going to grad school, so I am back and forth from the house and able to check on any pets throughout the day. About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I have full time evening employment. I am available to care for pets Sunday-Thursday 9am to 2pm (meaning my latest available visit would start at 1:30pm for an 30 min visit), and All day Fridays and Saturdays! I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. I am diligent with putting away foodstuffs and making sure doors/ screens are shut. Please let me know if your pet has these behaviors so I can be prepared before the visit.

About: I have raised dogs and cats through out my life, I currently have a rescue Shih Tzu named Gizmo who is nine years old and is great with other dogs. I currently work at a dog training kennel and I’ve worked in an animal shelter previously so I have experience with all breeds and temperaments as well as years of professional dog walking and pet sitting. I’m getting ready to go to school full time for dog grooming and would love to take care of your pets to help make money for school! I will give your fur babies the love, care and attention they deserve. I also have experience administering medications including pills and insulin shots. I work short days outside my home starting early in the morning, but my partner works from home so your dog wouldn’t be left alone if you board with me! I’m available for in home visits or walks as well. We have a rescue Shih Tzu who is 9 years old and loves the company of other dogs, she’s not big on playing but she’s all about the snuggles and naps. I cater my care to each individual dog and am happy to discuss your pets needs. If you board with me your dog will get frequent walks and as much exercise as you request, we live in an apartment so I would be taking them out on a leash to walk around the neighborhood; we also have a fenced area specifically for letting dogs run around and play if that’s what you prefer. I am happy to crate them if you’d like or let them sleep in one of my dogs many beds, she sleeps in bed with us so she won’t mind! If I’m coming to your house I can follow any instructions you have for walking/ feeding/ administering medication I’ve done many walks and home visits for pet owners over the years, and my experience in animal shelters and dog training facilities had given me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and needs.
