“This was the first time we used this app, and we were a little worried about leaving our small dog with someone we didn’t know. But the moment I saw Derrika’s smile in her photo, I knew she was the right person. Even before the drop-off, I was still a bit nervous, but as soon as Derika met us, all the stress disappeared. She welcomed us so warmly, with a huge smile and genuine happiness in her eyes. Taya went into the house with her without even looking back at us 😂 We’re extremely happy with the experience and highly recommend her ❤️”

“Shannon was really good with our two dogs. She sent a lot of pictures and communicated well. The dogs loved her large backyard too! I would love for her to watch our dogs again.”

“Our Remi had the best time with Sylveena and her family. We received so many pictures, updates and notes throughout the days we were gone, it was so appreciated. She even kept a mindful watch over her time outside due to the intense heat we’re experiencing. It’s obvious that Sylveena loves animals and we are so happy to have found her!”

“Nicole was wonderful! She provided excellent communication throughout our trip and sent photos, which gave me great peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dog was well cared for, and having fun. In fact, when he came home, he cried because he missed his new friends and the environment he had grown so attached to. We couldn’t ask for a better indication of how happy and comfortable he was in her care. Highly recommend!”

“Olga did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs! She kept us updated regularly throughout their stay, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear she was a wonderful host who genuinely cared about our pups. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive sitter!”

“Brandi and her husband were wonderful to interact with. She did her best to assuage my guilt for leaving my beloved dogs for a week, sent a lot of photos about their fun experiences and even provides some much needed training (to the dogs and me). Because Brandi had known Feliz when he was at KCPP, she was able to fill in his back story for me. That is priceless. She's wonderful to work with, cares passionately about the care she provides and does a stellar job. I hope that if I need to board my babies again, she'd be willing to work with us.”

“We were a little worried about how Bentley would get along with the other dogs Ramon had since our dog is an only dog. Everything seemed to go well. We were very pleased!”
“This was our first time using Rover and I’m so happy we found Griffin! He watched our chihuahua for a week and I think she had a better time on vacation than we did! The kids (and adults) absolutely loved getting the picture/video updates and we so appreciated how they let Tallulah make herself feel right at home. We will definitely be asking for Griffin again next time we travel.”

“Can’t speak highly enough about this sitter! Ruby was in heaven playing ball and part of the whole family’s activities. Lots of communication and very flexible with my schedule. Definitely will be using again when I’m back in town!”

“This was my first experience with Rover.com and Tasha P. It was a great experience. We communicated daily and I received pics of my babies. Namee generally won't eat in a consistent basis when I'm not around but Tasha, without being asked, hand feed her. I did not expect that, but I so appreciated it. I will definitely use Rover.com again, most particularly Tasha P. It is plain to see she really loves animals.”

“Crissy was very flexible with us! She has great communication and great prices. My dog got along just fine with her animals. We will definitely be using her again!”
“Katie and Carmen took such great care of Remy and we were confident to leave him and not worry. I will use them again in the very near future.”

“Her family and her took care of our dogs while we were away on vacation. She sent us a lot of pictures, kept us updated with anything that was going on, and would ask questions if she ever had anything that she wasn’t sure of. Highly recommend!”

“Sara is very organized, professional and thoughtful! She sent updates and pictures while Dexter was staying at her house. Made me feel at ease and knew he was being well taken care off while we were out of town. Will be reaching out again, thanks Sara!”

“Susan and her family took great care of my dog while we were out of town. She sent photos and updates every day and I know he had a blast! She was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We will definitely reach out again next time we need to board Teddy :)”

“Rhiannon and Rachel were fantastic with Lovie, they were very responsive when checking in and made sure she was well taken care of. I would highly recommend booking with them!”

“I have a 6yo Olde English Bulldogge named Decimus. I went on a Family Retreat to Gatlinburg, Tn. for a week. I was unaware the place booked did not allow pets. I booked Christine to watch my furbaby. She did a most excellent job taking care of him & with his special instructions. Daily updates with several pictures. I highly recommend! 5 stars definitely.”

“A great, extended stay for my pup! Always the best experience with Jessica and her family. My dog has friends to play with and gets lots of love and attention. So thankful to have found Jessica, she’s the best!”

“Had great experience with Jessie! She was super patient with both of our dogs, but especially with our dog who takes a minute to warm up to new dogs. She kept me updated all weekend with videos and pictures. Couldn't recommend enough!”

“Jacki was wonderful with our kitty Star who is pretty shy until she knows she can trust you. She was confident from the start that they would get along just fine and after their initial meeting, Star was her best buddy. There was a daily report and pictures and we had so much peace about leaving Star in her care that we hardly thought about it. We will definitely use her again!”

“Meggie was great to work with and communicated. She took care of Gus so well. He warmed up to her, ate his food and kept his business in the litter box. I would definitely book her again.”

“I have a somewhat unique situation with my cats and I was going to be gone for about 12 days—longer than I’ve ever been away from my boys. I was able to completely trust Connie to take care of them while I was gone, and I will booking her in advance going forward whenever possible! Can’t recommend her enough.”

“Arabella was super responsive and communicative while checking on my kitties. She sent lots of videos and pictures that helped ease my traveling anxiety and let me know they were in good hands. Would absolutely recommend her services to anyone looking for a great sitter!”

“Vanessa was wonderful with both of our cats. I worry a lot about leaving them when we go out of town, but I felt so comfortable leaving them under Vanessa’s care. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.”

“Kodiak was the best! They were super reliable, sent us updates and photos every day, and took great care of our kitties. It was really nice not having to worry when we were gone! When we got home there was a handwritten card and toys left for our cats, that was such a thoughtful touch and honestly made our day. We’d absolutely rebook and would recommend them to anyone! :)”

“Mallory was our savior! On a trip out of town, our automatic chicken door stopped working in the mornings, and she was able to start right away to let our girls out, even with all of the snow. She was quick to respond and always arrived on time.”

“So great. This was the first pet sitter I’d hired and she did amazing with our older cat. She gave her pills and so many cuddles while we were out of town. I also appreciated all the Rover cards, updates, and great communication. When we go out of town again, Maddie will be the first person I contact.”

“We were planning a trip out of town and learned 2 days before that our normal drop-in pet sitter had to leave town herself for a family emergency. I asked friends who suggested Rover, and I connected with Cheyenne. She was extremely responsive, willing to meet at the last minute, and was friendly and helpful. We were able to enjoy our vacation and know that our cats were in good hands. I appreciated her stepping in so quickly. We will definitely use her again.”

About: As a cat parent to three distinct felines ranging from ages 3 to 10, I know that cats are not just "low-maintenance dogs." They have complex emotional lives, strict boundaries, and unique routines. My current cat family includes a social butterfly, an aloof kitty who prefers her space, and a sweet disabled cat who requires extra patience and physical care. I also lovingly cared for a senior rescue cat who became disabled with age. Because of this, I provide customized, fear-free drop-in visits tailored entirely to your cat’s specific personality: The Shy or Aloof Cat: I never force interaction. I am perfectly content to quietly scoop the litter box, refresh the water, and sit across the room reading a book so your cat feels safe and undisturbed. The Social Butterfly: I come ready for intense laser pointer sessions, wand toy playtime, or extended grooming and chin-scratch sessions. The Special Needs or Senior Kitty: I am fully competent in administering oral pills, handling specialized diets, and managing advanced medical needs like injectables or Sub-Q fluids without causing unnecessary stress. Every visit includes thorough litter box maintenance, fresh food and water, and—of course—plenty of high-quality photo and video updates so you know your favorite feline is thriving while you are away.

“Olga was fantastic! Our cats typically do not do very well with temporary changes in their environment and have not done well when boarded previously. Olga sent us regular updates and photos of them and it was very clear that they got much more comfortable staying with her after a short adjustment period. Can not recommend her enough! We will absolutely bring our pets back to her in the future any time they need to be boarded! Thank you so much for taking such great care of our boys Olga!!!”

About: Extremely reliable with above reproach follow through and communication. I will regularly provide updates with photos. Have cared for senior dogs needing medicine. “Christine was kind to care for my pup, Phoebe, on short notice when my regular sitter couldn’t come last minute. She and her kiddos kept Phoebe safe and comfortable!”

“Derrika was great with our pup! She was very professional and I had a high degree of confidence that our little guy was well cared for and loved while we were away. I loved feeling like it brought her joy to be with him too and not just a transaction. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Caitlin took great care of our Corgi and Cockapoo. The girls had the best time and were exhausted when we picked them up. We will definitely book with Caitlyn again.”

“Thank you so much for taking such great care of him. He loves hanging out with you. It's funny because we will tell him where he's going in the morning and he gets so excited!”

“Amazing. Sylveena is wonderful. She fit me in last minute and my Snick loved being there. She sent plenty of photos and most of all my baby slept like a baby when I picked her up. Sylveena is great and I will definitely book with her again.”

About: I have had dogs in my family since I was a child and have years of experience with various breeds. I work from home most days and happy to get active with the doggos. I have a loving a cuddly home and treat all my fur guests as family. As someone with a senior dog, I am very patient and know how to accommate the additional needs some pets may have. With my flexible work from home schedule, I am able to be home during the week, to take your dog out for walks, potty breaks, cuddle, and to play. I am also available on weekends. With the exclusion of running errands, while your dog is with me, they will never be left alone for more than a few hours extended amount of time. I have a fenced in back yard for your dog to run free in. I also have a senior chihuahua who is very chill and unbothered, so as long as your dog likes other dogs, they will get along just fine. I do let dogs sit on the couch and get on the bed, however, I will respect that boundary if you do not allow that for your pets. I know all families have different schedules for potty and feeding times, and my schedule is flexible so I can keep your dog on track even while you are gone.

About: I've been training and taking care of dogs for 33 years. I had a couple childhood pets then when I was 18 I adopted and trained a dog that stayed with my family for 15 years. I also had a Labrador who made it to 13 and my current old man puppy is 13. I've been with my husband for 20 years. We LOVE dogs of all ages and sizes. I'm a stay at home mom to my geriatric dog. We get up around 6am, go outside for a bit, come in and get breakfast, then lounge while I clean. Lunchtime we go out again, have healthy snacks like carrots, then play in the fenced in yard or the living room depending on weather and temperature. Late afternoon and evening we wind down and get ready for dinner. I have a fenced in yard, a friendly old dog, tiled floors, comfortable furniture that they're allowed on, and air vents that come from the floors (dogs love to lay on them). There is security on my home and absolutely nobody but delivery people come here during the day.

I am able to care for 3 more dogs at a time. I have a large basement with an unfinished room that I put a baby gate up for the door and I have 2 kennels. If I have 3 dogs at once I will rotate the dogs out to make sure that one does not have to stay in a kennel too long. I will ensure your doggy always has food and water available and frequent bathroom breaks with plenty of love and social time. I have a semi big yard with a 20 foot tie down lead to ensure your dog has enough room to run around but won't get away. I also have a small plastic kiddie pool I fill up for the doggies to get in and enjoy!
About: As a young child I begged my parents to get a dog. I took the “D” encyclopedia into my room every night to study dog breeds. I spent years consuming every dog book I could get my hands on. I even created a dog walking business, made fliers, and handed them out to all of my neighbors. I finally got a puppy in 1st grade. She was my best friend. She went along with all of my crazy antics as I tried to make her a sled dog, a hunting dog, and even an agility dog. I also had fish, lizards, and a rabbit. I now live in KC with my husband and our baby! We recently lost both of our senior dogs. I wish I could adopt all of the dogs in need! In the meantime, I would love to help take care of yours. I work from home! That means I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your precious dog. I only ask that your dog gets along with babies/kids. I am used to taking care of dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. I’m confident I can take care of yours too.
“I booked with Taylor to watch my dog for a couple hours one morning. He has separation anxiety. She understands the needs for a dog with SA and was able to help manage his nerves while we were gone for some errands.”

“Stephanie is a great communicator and very patient with all of our concerns for her first visit with her. Frankie had a great day and came home happy and tired from the day of play (that she loves). We are so glad to have found Stephanie and appreciate her beautiful attitude!”

About: I’ve been the resident cat and dog sitter since I was a teen in my family and friend group. I have worked with dogs big and small, and cats of many temperaments. I have been an overnight sitter for both animals, and have experience walking, playing, following routines, and making the pets feel comfortable and loved. I have followed medication routines and given medications for both cats and dogs as well when needed, and am comfortable doing so. I am currently working part time while going to grad school, so I am back and forth from the house and able to check on any pets throughout the day. My home has plenty of space for another cat to hang out. In my home, I try to make the environment as comfortable for other pets as possible and make sure they feel safe and secure as they would in their own home. As for visiting pets at their homes, I enjoy knowing their habits and preferences, so I can cater to their needs as closely to their normal lifestyle as I can. Simply put, I want pets to feel at home and safe regardless of their location, and do my best to love them and their needs whatever they may be.

“I have been so pleased with Kodiak walking my dog on a regular basis. I get great feedback and pictures of of Barbie out on her walk. It’s been a relief to find someone so responsible and caring. I would not hesitate to recommend Kodiak to anyone who needs a trusted dog walker or sitter!”

“Lulu has been wonderful! She has been walking my 10 month old puppy who was not great on a leash but seems to be doing well! My puppy cries for her when she drops her off! Lulu is very punctual and professional and has answered any questions I have. She also leaves a detailed report after each walk. I would highly recommend her!”

“Vanessa was wonderful to work with! She was easy to communicate with and incredibly accommodating, especially with my last-minute request. We had to make a few adjustments due to the weather, but communication was seamless and she was very flexible throughout the process. I really appreciated how easy she made everything, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and responsive sitter/walker. Thanks again, Vanessa! 🐾😊”

About: I have been a foster mom and adopter for 18 years. I fostered 50 dogs through a local rescue group. We have had 7 dogs, all but 1 are/ were snow dogs. I'm a part-time small animal physical therapist at ARC where we teach agility and obedience, help rehabilitate cats and dogs with injuries and provide quality of life rehab for seniors or the terminally ill. We took our last babies before they passed to ARC for quality of life, they had degenerative myelopathy and kidney disease, respectively. I fell in love with the place and became a PT. I have a soft spot for senior dogs, they deserve all the spoiling to make their golden years filled with love, comfort and adventure. To me dogs are equal to people and should be treated even better. I have a fenced in back yard and a home made for dogs. We have a four seasons room with a dog door to use. I split the house up according to where your dog is most comfortable while I'm out. We never miss our morning walk. In the summer we take dogs swimming at my in-law's pool 20 minutes in Blue Springs. We also have kiddie pools and a sandbox to discover toys. They can sleep in the bedroom, family room or patio room. If they are kennel training then in their kennel of course, which is in the very comfortable dog room. I am able to administer all types of medication, whether it be oral, injectable, or IV fluids. I am able to do dog CPR, we are also 5 minutes from our vet as well. My home is the ideal vacation spot for your furry friend. About this sitter: I'm a licensed Esthetician and have an in-home spa. I work at ARC part-time, just three afternoons a week. Clearly, I'm a huge dog lover. We previously fostered around 50 dogs for Furry Kids' Refuge. It is my life's work to stop puppy mills. I'm a very active person and enjoy outdoor activities. I live my life for my family and my dogs. "Be the person your dog thinks your are." Boone Pickens. Why I love dog sitting Ever since, I was a child I grew up loving dogs and wanting to stop puppy mills. I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some kind of capacity. I worked on Proposition B with the Humane Society of America. I want to help people feel confident leaving their pets when away from home. About my yard I have a 1/3 acre yard fenced all the way around. We have lots of trees and outdoor dog beds to hang out on under the hammocks. We have lots of squirrels to watch and all of our neighbors have dogs. We have a small wrap around deck that connects to our 4 seasons patio room with a dog door. My experience administering medication I am trained in dispensing all types of medicine; whether it be oral or injectable. I'm also able to do IV fluids and CPR. Your dog(s) will be a part of my family while you are away. They will go about their day doing what they normally do at home. They will be free to play and not be cooped up like at a daycare or vet facility. We have a million toys to play with and a nice neighborhood to walk in and lots of places to nap. We currently have two dogs, they both came from difficult situations, but they love to play with other dogs, it's people that can be intimidating. They prefer people that bring dogs in the house. We do slow introductions. We start with a walking meet and greet around the neighborhood and then we come in the backyard with your dog off-leash to smell and then they can all meet slowly. If all the dogs like each other then I do like a day visit if you will be gone more than a few days, so that your dog is comfy here. If you will be gone more than 2 weeks I recommend a night stay beforehand. I work part-time from home in my spa and part time at ARC on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. We walk every morning and most days I head to the gym after. Perfect time for the dogs to decompress in their own areas and nap. I have a nice fenced in yard with locks on the gates. All dogs are separated by gates and have their own comfortable spaces with multiple rooms. All dogs are fed separately for safety.
About: Hi, I'm Sophie! I grew up surrounded by animals and have been pet sitting for over 12 years. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, where I regularly walk dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I provide dependable, loving care so your pet will be in good hands. I work 3 days a week so I have lots of time to keep your pets happy! My schedule varies weekly and can be flexible. I follow your pet's normal routine to help them feel comfortable and happy. I'll make sure they have fresh food and water, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection

About: I've been around animals my whole life and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply providing companionship, I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'm patient, dependable, and pay close attention to the little details that matter, from following feeding schedules and exercise routines to keeping water bowls full and giving plenty of affection. I'm comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, energetic dogs, shy cats, and multi-pet households. My goal is simple: treat every pet like they're my own and give you peace of mind knowing they're in caring, reliable hands. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be reliable and consistent for pet care. Whether it's a walk, drop-in visit, or spending quality time with your pet, I'm happy to work around their routine. I love being active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy, not just a job. Every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special instructions before each visit. Whether I'm in your home or taking your dog for a walk, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I'll make sure they have fresh water, plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime while also respecting the routines they're used to. I keep owners updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I always treat both your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would my own. My goal is for your pets to feel comfortable, happy, and loved until you return.
“Came over the day before to meet Sawyer. Went for walk on trail near my house even though I said they could just walk the neighborhood. Went above and beyond, would book again!”

“Olga did so great with Thea once again. She's really good with anxious dogs. Helped me a lot with leash manners too. Thea enjoys her walks every time with Olga. Definitely will book with her again.”

About: I've been fostering and taking care of others' dogs as long as I can remember. I have a huge home with a lot of open area to run and play. It has a fenced back yard. The fur babies sleep in my bed and yours will be welcome as well or they can sleep in other rooms. I work during the day but I get home around 530 pm. In the evenings, I'm home with the dogs. If its nice weather, we can go to the off leash parks and run around or go on the trails. I've owned, babysat, nursed back to health beagles, dachshunds, mastiffs, pit bulls, dalmatians, cocker spaniels, border collies, mixx breeds...they are all special to me. I don't give injected meds because I am TERRIFIED of needles! I am willing to travel to the dog's home if they are more comfortable there then outside of their own home. I will have to go home and check on my own dogs but I'll spend as much time as possible. I'll also bring treats from Treats Unleashed. I work 85% at home during the week but I can stop by for morning visits and evening visits. on the weekends I can be there as much or as little as possible At my house I have a husky who's pretty big and when he 1st meets a dog he barks a lot but then they become friends. At your house If you have a skittish dog or cat I know how to be present without being in their face or in their space. And if you have a loving dog I love to cuddle too. If you're going on a trip I don't mind getting your mail or packages and putting them in the house or whatever else you need done I am 85% working from home so I would be available more often. On the days that I am at the office, it will be about 4-6 hours between checkins during the day I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own. They have so much room to run and play inside and outside. We have great treats and toys. They will have a lot of fun.

I’m reliable for feeding, walking, medicating, providing enrichment, and more. I’m currently available mornings, evenings, and overnight. With notice, I can invite animal-friendly small/medium pets into my home. For larger pets or those who don’t enjoy animal company, I can do drop-ins or walks at your home! I have my own friendly dogs and cats in my home. The small animals in my home are kept in a separate room. I have a long leash to give your pup some playtime outside, or we can take good walks on a regular leash. About: I’ve spent 7+ years caring for pets of all kinds, taking the time to learn each one’s routine, quirks, and comfort level so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to help with puppies, seniors, and pets who need a little extra care. I work a full-time job from 10–5 on weekdays, so I schedule pet care around my work hours. I’m available early mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, playtime, or visits. When I’m with pets, I give them my full attention and make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well-cared-for, even with my regular work schedule. I provide attentive, patient care whether I’m at your home or mine. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding, playtime, walks, litter box care, and any special instructions—to keep them comfortable and stress-free. If pets are in my home, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family, giving plenty of attention, cuddles, and play. I always prioritize their happiness, health, and comfort.
About: I have had pet dogs my whole life. My husband and I currently have one large dog that loves being around other dogs. We are constantly at the dog park or going on walks and would love to take your fury friend with us! My husband has Sundays and Mondays off and I work split shift morning and evening during the week, meaning I can come home for walks and bathroom breaks throughout the day and am off on weekends. We live in an apartment that has a fenced in dog park and is right across from a nature trail. We go to the dog park and on walks everyday.
“Emmie is a delightful, friendly and thoughtful person who also loves to walk dogs! It’s the perfect package to help in our situation getting my mom’s dog outside for walks. She goes beyond what is probably required here to make sure that my mom knows when she’s coming, takes Anna on great walks and is easy to communicate with about scheduling. Thanks for being such a great help to all of us!”

“Very nice lady! Dog loves her and we Hope to develop a long term relationship with Connie for my busy work days! When 10 minutes just cannot be interrupted. If he didn’t JUMP 3 ‘ fences with ease he’d have half an acre to play! Lol little champion”

About: I have raised dogs and cats through out my life, I currently have a rescue Shih Tzu named Gizmo who is nine years old and is great with other dogs. I currently work at a dog training kennel and I’ve worked in an animal shelter previously so I have experience with all breeds and temperaments as well as years of professional dog walking and pet sitting. I’m getting ready to go to school full time for dog grooming and would love to take care of your pets to help make money for school! I will give your fur babies the love, care and attention they deserve. I also have experience administering medications including pills and insulin shots. I work short days outside my home starting early in the morning, but my partner works from home so your dog wouldn’t be left alone if you board with me! I’m available for in home visits or walks as well. We have a rescue Shih Tzu who is 9 years old and loves the company of other dogs, she’s not big on playing but she’s all about the snuggles and naps. I cater my care to each individual dog and am happy to discuss your pets needs. If you board with me your dog will get frequent walks and as much exercise as you request, we live in an apartment so I would be taking them out on a leash to walk around the neighborhood; we also have a fenced area specifically for letting dogs run around and play if that’s what you prefer. I am happy to crate them if you’d like or let them sleep in one of my dogs many beds, she sleeps in bed with us so she won’t mind! If I’m coming to your house I can follow any instructions you have for walking/ feeding/ administering medication I’ve done many walks and home visits for pet owners over the years, and my experience in animal shelters and dog training facilities had given me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and needs.
“Erin was excellent at keeping me updated about my Miso. She sent pics and videos often which I really appreciated as we were out of country for two weeks and wanted to know our girl was happy and safe. We ran out of dog food near the end and she was able to get her some more. We will definitely use Erin again as our pet sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Stevie was great! She worked with our schedule for dropping off and picking up. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our furry family member was in good hands.”
