“Great having Saige as my first sitter! We met at a Starbucks to do a meet and greet and I instantly felt comfortable. Scary bringing a stranger into your home these days, so I was thankful she was open to answering any questions and wanted me to feel comfortable. Days later, I then had Saige come to my home to meet my cat and see the space to ensure she would also be comfortable sitting at my home. She petsitted or pet sat(?) lol, for 4 days and there’s hardly a hint that she was ever here - meaning she left the place as she found it and didn’t leave a mess or anything. I don’t think my kitty ever got super used to having a stranger in her home but that’s not Saige’s fault. My kitty is just super shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers. I just asked that Saige respect her boundaries and space and I believe she did that! My kitty is almost 16 years old and I just really wanted that reassurance of having someone around more often than just bopping in for 15 mins a day - so I’m thankful for finding this service and the sitting going smoothly! Would book Saige again!”

About: Ever since I was a child, I’ve been surrounded by animals—dogs, cats, even hamsters, rabbits, and fish! Now, being a full time student at Rockhurst University here in KC, having an animal of my own, Lemmy (a sweet Ragdoll cat), has been an ultimate highlight in my daily routine. I love taking care of my own animal, and having such a strong passion for it would allow me to give the same, special care for your own furry friend! I’m used to all animals of all ages and sizes, and am eager to help in any way possible! I’m currently a college student at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, and have a very flexible schedule! I’m willing to accommodate most days/times to help with your needs! I will make sure all food is given out properly and water is freshly filled. I had planned to have her watch my dog from a Friday through Tuesday while on a vacation, but a family emergency ended my trip while I was traveling. Sharon was great to work with during this time, insisting that we modify the reservation to account for the shorter booking, all while sending pictures and videos of my dog—which my family and I really needed to see during an emotionally draining time. Otherwise, she just completely handled taking care of Teddy while I was gone, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing.”

Experienced cat foster who has cared for sick and very young kittens. I work from home, have a flexible schedule, and my cat is very low maintenance so I have ample time to support others needing some extra hands to support their pet. Pets in my home would be under my supervision at all times and/or leashed for any outdoor excursions.
