“I was very nervous leaving my dogs with someone other than family while I was away but LuLu did a great job. She kept me updated constantly throughout the day. My place seemed cleaner than when I left too! 10/10 recommend for your furry critters!”

“This was our first time leaving our pup that has health issues. Our minds were at ease knowing Erin was there giving her all the attention she needed and then some! Loved the consistent check ins and photos and how well the house was cared for overall!”
“Another 10 star performance by Abby! There are very few people we would trust with our animals and our house for a week while we traveled overseas— Abby is at the top of the list! We received daily updates/photos and she took great care of our boys. Excellent communicator before and during her stay which gives us peace of mind. House was immaculate when we got home. Thank you Abby!”

“Jen stayed at our home with our two dogs for 4 nights. We could not have been happier with her communication and all of the photos and daily updates she provided. She handled our very rambunctious young lab mix with walks and playtime as well as provided oral medication and Injections meds to our senior dog. Such a delight to have met her. Highly recommend!”

“I really enjoyed meeting Regan. He is super reliable and took great care for our dogs. He stayed overnight and during the day. He anticipated a storm and brought in all our outdoor cushions and returned them outside after the storm! Above and beyond!”
“Amazing caretaker. She went above and beyond to ensure my pets were taken care of. My dog had a cough and she took him to the vet and kept me updated every step of the way. Would recommend her to any pet owner!”

“What can I say other than Sharon put my mind at ease. First time leaving my 11 month old, high energy puppy - so I was nervous for sure. To add to that, it was thunderstorming every day I was gone, so good walks were out of the question. She handled my little beast well, and if I ever leave my dog again, Sharon will be my first call. Plenty of updates plus I felt she genuinely loved my dog. Plus she washed the sheets and took the trash out. Couldn’t recommend her more Thanks Sharon!!!”

“Wendy watched our 2 dogs while we were away for a weekend. She was very attentive & sent pics throughout her stay at our home. We found her to be very trustworthy and will definitely be using her services again!!”

“My girls LOVED having Jennifer stay with them when we went away for the long Thanksgiving weekend. The baby of my pack is usually quite shy around new people but she instantly fell in love with Jennifer. She did great with all 4 of our furbabies ... from 15 lbs to 150 lbs and 6 months to 17 years.”

“Saige was so wonderful while we were gone! She took excellent care of our pups, sent pictures and updates! I will definitely be using her again. Such a peace of mind having her here.”

“Kayla did a wonderful job taking care of our dog! She kept us updated the whole time with pictures and texts, which was great peace of mind! It was obvious how comfortable our dog was with her, from the pictures of him totally relaxed with his belly in the air and how much fun he was having in the yard when we got home!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, but what really sets me apart is hands-on experience actually raising and training one myself. I grew up training my German Shepherd from a young age, which taught me patience, consistency, and how to understand dog behavior, not just watch them. As a student athlete, I’m very active, so I naturally bring a lot of energy to walks, playtime, and keeping dogs engaged. At the same time, I understand that every dog is different, some need structure and training, while others need calm, gentle care, especially seniors. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training, handling larger or high-energy breeds, and making sure pets feel safe and understood while their owners are away. I don’t just “watch” dogs, I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and building trust. As a college student athlete, I keep a very structured schedule, which actually makes me reliable and consistent when it comes to pet care. I plan my days around responsibilities, so I make sure pets are fed, walked, and given attention on time. I also work part-time at a golf course, but I’m looking to spend more of my free time doing something I enjoy, being around dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because it gives me a break from school and sports while still staying active. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon check-ins, or evening care, I’m used to balancing multiple commitments and staying dependable. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine, feeding times, walks, play, and any training habits they’re used to. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the space and the pet’s environment, making sure everything stays clean, safe, and stress-free. I give dogs plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision, and I always keep owners updated so they feel confident their pet is in good hands. I’m especially attentive to energy levels and behavior, whether that means getting a high-energy dog out for a long walk or just spending calm time with a more relaxed or older dog.
“We are so incredibly grateful for Whitney and everything that she’s done for us. Whitney brings a natural and consistent loving approach to her work. It was immediately clear that her care and supportive approach sets her apart from others. For this stay, Whitney cared for our two cats and one dog for a week. Due to the weather, we were delayed for 1 1/2 days coming home. Whitney was beyond understanding and did not hesitate to continue caring for our babies and home while we were away. We feel lucky and privileged to have met Whitney. I genuinely cannot wait until my babies have the opportunity to spend time with her again! Thank you again Whitney!!!”

“Excellent sitter for my 8 year old and 2 1 year old Rottweiler puppies. Mya is a loving and compassionate person. She followed my special instructions to the tee and was especially great with my youngest puppy with epilepsy as one of the 7 dogs in her own household also has epilepsy. I couldn't have asked for a better person than Mya for my last minute booking while I had surgery. Will definitely use her repeatedly! Highly recommend.”

“Vanessa did a fantastic job taking care of my dog. I came home to a happy boy, a clean place, and will definitely use Vanessa in the future. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a sitter!”

About: Hello! I am a pet lover with years of experience in caring for pets young and old. I am based in downtown KC but have reliable transportation. If I am out of your range, message me anyway and we might be able to work something out :) In my life I have owned 1 dog of each size (small, medium, and large of course), two parakeets, a guinea pig, several goldfish, and a leopard gecko. I currently live downtown with my two kitties, Josie and Jade. I have several years of both catsitting and dogsitting experience with close friends and family members, and it has always been the most fun side job so I thought I'd give Rover a shot. I also have housesitting and plant care experience. I am a full time actor, so regularly I work from home and will spend certain full days on set, not usually consecutively & with minimum 1 week’s notice. Additionally, in June I have evening rehearsals on weeknights and weekend rehearsals 11a-5p here in town. I am communicative with clients & I like to send photos at client request. In situations of senior care or medication, I will always opt to message with a question rather than make an unsafe assumption. Additionally, I am a very clean person and prioritize leaving things how I found them.

About: I’ve spent 7+ years caring for pets of all kinds, taking the time to learn each one’s routine, quirks, and comfort level so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to help with puppies, seniors, and pets who need a little extra care. I work a full-time job from 10–5 on weekdays, so I schedule pet care around my work hours. I’m available early mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, playtime, or visits. When I’m with pets, I give them my full attention and make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well-cared-for, even with my regular work schedule. I provide attentive, patient care whether I’m at your home or mine. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding, playtime, walks, litter box care, and any special instructions—to keep them comfortable and stress-free. If pets are in my home, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family, giving plenty of attention, cuddles, and play. I always prioritize their happiness, health, and comfort.
“Julia took excellent care of our girl. We made a last minute request for Julia to extend her stay and she was kind enough to accommodate. I would definitely recommend Julia for your pet sitting needs.”

Vineyard pet parents share their Rover experiences
Mattie really seems to love our fur babies when taking care of them in our absence. We regularly received text photos and updates letting us know how they were all doing. In one picture, one of our cats was laying on Mattie's legs while our dogs were snuggled up the each side of her. Our condo lobby attendant said Mattie was super nice and great with our pets.

Lulu is fantastic as both dog-sitter and house-sitter. She is an animal person to the core and has bonded with both of my cockers. She possesses a kind, respectful personality and I never fear with her in charge. Constantly updates with words and pictures. I couldn't be happier.

This was my first time using Rover, and my first time leaving my kitties. I was blown away at how wonderful Ashley was! She was so attentive and wonderful with them. She did perfect with the insulin injections for Pedro and made sure he ate, sent me pictures and I swear my house was cleaner than when I left it! I highly recommend her. 🩵
It was such a relief knowing Samantha was at our home caring for our dogs while we were away. She shared photos of the dogs that showed how happy they were, and she seemed to truly enjoy spending tune with them! When unexpected heavy rains hit, she made sure that ask us where towels were to clean off paws. She even mopped the house prior to leaving, going above and beyond our expectations! We definitely recommend Samantha for in-home care of your pets. We hope to book with her again in the future!

Hayley watched our 2 dogs for the first time and both dogs were so comfortable with her. One of our dogs is a rescue and doesn’t always go to strangers, but she immediately went to Hayley. She’s timely and we can tell she genuinely enjoys watching pets. I highly recommend Hayley, and we will be using her in future for our needs

Illa was professional and very responsible in taking care of my Maltese. She’s spoiled to death but that’s the way I like her to be and Illa was very respectful of that and contacted me about one issue which I definitely appreciated. It all worked out great and I definitely would recommend her for doing a wonderful job!
Kortney is an incredible dogsitter. I always know she'll get our guy out on a walk, take care of the house, and keep us looped in as needed. I feel very good knowing she's taking care of our dog while we are away and completely trust her. Would highly recommend her services. She's the best!
