About: My name is Mikayla - I am a behaviorist by trade (for people, not pets) and I've been a pet lover forever! I have a 9 year old Staffy/Akita/Aussie mix and a 15 year old cat at home. I will feed, play with, and walk your dog (and can also take them to the dog park for a good time if they're familiar!) I'm friendly, playful, and can be flexible with scheduling throughout the metro area from the end of June through July. Lets chat and I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I'm a public educator so I'm off work in the summer months and available most any time June- July. From August - May, I'm available in the evenings (after 4pm) most days! I'm happy to care for pets in your home and am a reliable and trustworthy pet/home sitter. I drive a Ford Escape and can transport dogs to a park nearby if desired, too.

About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I am currently a full time Master’s student. I am unavailable Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am-12pm due to attending class, otherwise my schedule is open! I am able to care for pets during the day or overnight depending on your needs. I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. About: I’ve had cats my whole life and an Australian shepherd since I was 14, I raised and trained him, and have also pet-sat for friends and family on multiple occasions. I promise any pet can be trusted with me. I fit in pet care around my part time job that mostly consists of morning shifts, though I can work around that and move shifts if needed for the right furry friend. I don’t think at the moment I will be sitting any pets in my own home for the comfort of my own pet pal but I will actively play with, watch, snuggle with and care for any pet in anyone’s home, I will always give the upmost care!

About: I’ve grown up having dogs and taking care of them my whole life, became a part time dog sitter out of college and was booked almost every week of 2022 when I was living in St. Louis. Recently moved to Kansas City and would love some more regular clients! In St. Louis, I had a regular that was an elderly dog that required pills twice a day, so I have dealt with older dogs. I also got a puppy with my parents during that time, so I have recent experience with raising a puppy and keep up with her training (she was trained professionally, I just kept it up at home- I am not a professional trainer). Overall, I miss being around dogs and will make sure your pet is well taken care of and loved while you’re away! I work full time with the ability to work from home. I prefer to go into office for at least part of the day, but am flexible based on your pet’s needs. I typically stay overnight with my clients’ pets. I will base a typical day based on your normal schedule- if you work during the day but come home for lunch to walk the dog, I will do that. If you normally work from home with them all day, that can normally be arranged. I want to make sure to keep to your pet’s routine to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible while you’re away.

About: I helped raise and care for dozens of dogs as a kid. My family lived on about 7 acres and we always had dogs to care for. Currently, I have a beagle who is the center of my universe. We are always out finding sniffs and socializing with people and other dogs. There are several wooded hiking trails near my apartment that he loves, and I’m sure your pup will too. I love being outside and on the move, and am happy to have your pup join me. I walk everywhere and know plenty of places for them to explore. I have a Ruffwear Hitchhiker Leash. It’s a waist worn leash with a 7mm climbing rope connected your dog to me at the hip, literally. They will be safe in my care while being able to have freedom and fun at the same time.
