“Love the time and care she provides to my love Bell”

About: In a professional capacity, I’ve been off and on Rover for a few years, and I love it! My clients have loved the customer service level I bring to each interaction. From my communication style and pictures to my ability to be flexible in scheduling. In my personal life, I’ve taken care of dogs, fish, cats, turtles/tortoises, rats and guinea pigs. I’ve administered medication to pets in the past and I’ve done enrichment training as well. Schedule varies. I work in the Plaza and Partner Joel works from home and is available to care for pets all day. We live in downtown Kansas City MO. With my dog walks, I’ll typically take a 20 minute walk with 10 minutes allowed for enrichment/playtime. With any drop-ins, I’m happy to refill food/water and/or take care of any plants babies that you may have as I have a pretty good green thumb.

“Cheyenne is wonderful. She is always on time and professional. More importantly my dog Grace looks forward to her walks with her. I like how she lets me know of her bathroom habits so I can monitor. Highly recommend her.”

About: With 15 years of experience caring for animals, I bring a genuine love to every pet I care for. Having owned animals myself, I understand their unique needs and personalities, and I treat each one with the same respect and attention I give my own pets. My extensive experience has taught me how to provide both the physical and emotional care animals require, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my care. I am committed, responsible, and truly passionate about enhancing the well-being of every pet I look after, and I truly understand the bond between humans and their furry companions. As a mostly remote employee, I have flexibility to care for my clients pets throughout the week. On Tuesdays, when I go into the office, I ensure they have extra attention before I leave and arrange for a midday check-in. I ensure that pets receive the love, attention, and comfort they need while their owners are away. By providing extra affection and creating a safe, nurturing environment, I help pets feel secure and loved. Having been a pet owner myself, I truly understand the deep bond between an animal and its caregiver. My animals are an integral part of my life, so I approach every pet with the same care and dedication, prioritizing their emotional and physical well-being. Whether in my home or a client’s, I customize care to meet each pet's unique needs, offering them a sense of familiarity and love.

“Anna walked our older pug while we were in Europe for two weeks (he was staying with my mom, but needed more consistent activity than my mom was able to provide with her schedule). Anna was very communicative and provided pictures and updates for each walk. Would definitely recommend Anna!”

About: We have had pets all of our life. From dogs to cats, bunnies, hamsters, and mice! We love going on walks, playing in the house or snuggling up on the couch. Special diets are no problem. I have taken care of geriatric pets and tummy sensitive pets before. I work 3 days a week. Katie is home all the time and is able to tend to your baby all day so your fur baby won't be lonely! We have a fenced in back yard and a cozy living room with plenty of dog beds to go around. I live right by a park with a walking trail for potty breaks. We do have 4 dogs and 3 cats of our own that are very friendly and love to play.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs in my neighborhood since I was 12 and worked with a plethora of dogs. I’m very used to small, medium, large, young, senior and even hospice dogs; I’ve seen it all. I love helping take care of dogs that are being fostered at temporary homes and giving them experience with more people. I have worked at 2 different doggy daycares in the past year and a half so I REALLY have taken care of every dog imaginable. I can administer medication, clean and disinfect accidents, do basic first aid and clean wounds, bathing, feeding, and assess emotions and behaviors. I also love sending photos of your pup during our visit, my phone has THOUSANDS of photos of dogs. Right now I am a college student living in an apartment with my pup in Kansas City. I can easily let you know my class schedule so we can work around it and fit our needs! I would feel much more comfortable taking care of your pup in your own home. Your pup will also feel more comforted by their familiar surroundings at their house. If you need references from my neighbors for a little more trust, I would be glad to supply it!

“Vanessa is super helpful and we appreciate her flexibility!”

About: I have two pups at home that I take care of for 8+ hours a day. I love playtime and going on walks with them! I’m working volunteer shifts with a non-profit currently and am on break from school so I have lots of free time and can be in places quickly! I have two dogs in the plaza area. We don’t have a fenced-in yard so we tend to take trips to the local parks to play! Although, that doesn’t stop the zoomies inside haha!

About: I have taken care of dogs of various breeds and sizes since a young age! I have experience with dogs of different energy levels, medication schedules, and dogs who require a lot of attention. I am currently taking night classes and seeing practice clients to become a therapist! Since I am focused on school, I am available to spend a lot of time with your dogs! I can be with them all day until my night classes if needed and also love spending the night with dogs! When caring for your dog in your home, I care about their safety, comfort, and happiness! With my schedule, I am able to provide potty breaks often, lots of attention, and cuddles if they like!

About: I've been relied upon by neighbors for years to dog-sit, dog-walk, and pet-sit for cats as well. I'm a big lover of all animals and grew up with dogs, cats, and even chickens! I started caring for these animals at an early age, handling tasks such as feeding, scooping litter, picking up dog droppings, and cleaning the chicken coop. We have an old cat with kidney and heart problems ourselves who needs to be pilled and have a cream applied to his ear twice a day. I understand how our pets are, quite literally, additional family members to the household, and I recognize the importance of ensuring they are loved and cared for, just like all of us!!! I’m a huge fan of walking and this fits into my daily and weekly routine. I also love the social aspect of meeting new people and pets are ALWAYS the best way to meet new people! I can easily drive to your home to walk your dog in the your neighborhood. I’m gentle, friendly and love a big scratch on an animals bottom(if they are welcome to it of course!)

About: Ive lived with hound dogs all of my life, and love creating special bonds with me and my animals. Good with all animals as long as they are not aggressive. I am currently only working part time, so I have a lot of availability , I like to exercise a lot so I would be able to help out people that need to give their dogs longer walks! By creating a safe environment for the pet, providing the client with updates if needed, and also discussing and specific instruction from clients as needed.

“Stacey was very punctual and we really appreciate that since our dogs expect to get their meals on time. He was very sweet and careful with both girls and they trusted him He learned feeding and walking procedures so we can rebook him in the future”

About: I have experience ranging from farm animals to new born puppies. If your dog is skittish or afraid of men, I'm your guy. My previous job had me going into other people's homes where their dog wasn't expecting me. I know how to interact with scared or defensive dogs as well. Our dog (Cookie) is like this and it took a long time for her to trust me, but she does now. If your dog is skittish or you've held back using this service due to that fact, I'm your guy! I work full time in the gig economy, but Rover takes priority over my other roles. Our animals don't always understand what's going on unlike humans, so they need extra love and attention. I'm an Army Vet and workout regularly. If your fur baby LOVES to walk, I will out walk them! (If you want me to of course). I unfortunately don't run with dogs due to most not being trained to do so, it can turn into a safety hazard.

8. Ronnie R.
“I have known Ronnie for over eight years and he has always shown great love and compassion towards all animals including dogs. Out of all pets that a person could have, I would say that Ronnie's favorite would have to be dogs. We use to be roommates and he watched other peoples dogs on numerous occasions and was very great at it. I could tell that he really enjoyed being around dogs. We also owned a cat together and he was such a great caregiver to our cat. Ronnie is a very responsible and caring man, he takes great pride in his work and has an enormous love for dogs. If there was one job that I know Ronnie would be excellent at, it would be a caregiver for dogs.”
