About: I grew up with dogs and cats, have fostered in the past, and continue to care for my friend’s pets while they are away. I am open to house-sit, drop in, or go on however long of a walk your best friend needs. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets in their own homes, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I have experience with different breeds and temperaments - cuddlers, partiers, grouches, and loungers all deserve love! I can’t wait to spend time with your best friend and give you peace of mind. I work full time, but work from home Mondays and Fridays. Currently I could do drop-ins and walks anytime Fridays through Mondays. For Tuesday through Thursday, I would only be available early morning and evening. I’m available any day for house sitting stays which includes overnight care in your home with evening and morning routines. We can discuss if midday drop-in or walk are needed on the days i’m in the office. Drop-ins include feeding, water refresh, play/potty time, and quick updates. Walks include a 30-minute walk at your dog’s usual pace, leash handling, water refill if needed, and notes to the owner. If your dog needs longer than 30 minutes, Incan also do a longer walk for an hour. I make a point to ensure pets are following their schedules and any training they are working on. If I need to be away at any time, I can easily crate your dog next to my crate trained dogs. My dogs also enjoy the off leash dog parks, so if you are comfortable with it, I would take your dog to them for extra playtime! I feed my dogs twice a day, but can adjust to your dogs feeding schedule. I take my dogs out to potty about every 4 hours, but again, can adjust to your dogs potty needs. About: I’ve been owned by several (rescue) dogs and a few cats. Am capable a caring for multiple pets in household. Have lived with 3 dogs for several years. I’m good with all animals and have a tendency to make a critter calm. Senior dogs are a specialty and regular medications are no problem. Done a lot of house sitting for pets and home security. Day care and overnights easy as I am retired with only a few obligations with my time. I am retired so an abundance of time is available. I do have a commitment to sit with a dog and two cats every Wednesday. I feed/walk/play with two dogs every evening and a long walk on Saturday afternoon. I clean a home once a month on my schedule. I am involved in my church (Sunday worship and once a month vestry meetings). If you desire overnight stays or extended visits I’m able to do that as long as leaving for above mentioned obligations works with your pet. My specialty is senior dogs. I prefer smaller dogs as I am older fella and wouldn’t want to lose grip walking or caring for large dogs. Feeding/walks/medications not a problem If doing check ins I am punctual and trustworthy in your home. I have a picky diet so I bring my own food for house sitting.
