About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I have full time evening employment. I am available to care for pets Sunday-Thursday 9am to 2pm (meaning my latest available visit would start at 1:30pm for an 30 min visit), and All day Fridays and Saturdays! I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. I am diligent with putting away foodstuffs and making sure doors/ screens are shut. Please let me know if your pet has these behaviors so I can be prepared before the visit.
“Came over the day before to meet Sawyer. Went for walk on trail near my house even though I said they could just walk the neighborhood. Went above and beyond, would book again!”

About: I’ve been owned by several (rescue) dogs and a few cats. Am capable a caring for multiple pets in household. Have lived with 3 dogs for several years. I’m good with all animals and have a tendency to make a critter calm. Senior dogs are a specialty and regular medications are no problem. Done a lot of house sitting for pets and home security. Day care and overnights easy as I am retired with only a few obligations with my time. I am retired so an abundance of time is available. I do have a commitment to sit with a dog and two cats every Wednesday. I feed/walk/play with two dogs every evening and a long walk on Saturday afternoon. I clean a home once a month on my schedule. I am involved in my church (Sunday worship and once a month vestry meetings). If you desire overnight stays or extended visits I’m able to do that as long as leaving for above mentioned obligations works with your pet. My specialty is senior dogs. I prefer smaller dogs as I am older fella and wouldn’t want to lose grip walking or caring for large dogs. Feeding/walks/medications not a problem If doing check ins I am punctual and trustworthy in your home.
“Vanessa was wonderful to work with! She was easy to communicate with and incredibly accommodating, especially with my last-minute request. We had to make a few adjustments due to the weather, but communication was seamless and she was very flexible throughout the process. I really appreciated how easy she made everything, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and responsive sitter/walker. Thanks again, Vanessa! 🐾😊”

About: I am a huge animal person and love to take care and play with your pets of any kind! I have been cat sitting and dog walking for years for family and neighbors, and have always been there for even a short pop-in visit. Working in my local animal shelter I specialized in both feline and canine care, and know everything about keeping your pet happy and healthy. I have two cats of my own that I treat like my babies and grew up with dogs all my life, and I hope I can treat your pets as good as my own! I am currently working part time with a varying schedule, but will typically have the same days off every week which will allow me to have a more consistent schedule when caring for your pet. I will always approach a new dog or cat with caution and assess their behavior before jumping right in, not only for my well-being but also theirs to avoid any extra stress.
“Kimball is wonderful! She happily met our pup beforehand and was very professional and attentive to her needs. She did a great job of walking her and loving on her, making sure she got a good walk in while we are at work.”
About: I strive to care for all animals with the utmost respect and kindness! I am very patient and will always interact with your pets as if they were my own. I have 6+ years of experience caring for my own cats, dog sitting, watching chickens, and volunteering through KC Pet Project. I’m currently available full time and free most evenings and weekends to care for your pets. I am also usually free and in town during holidays. I am happy to accommodate your busy schedule! I take a calm and gentle approach and will respect and accommodate any needs of the pets I care for. I understand that all animals are unique and am excited to cater my services to your pet's personality.
“Tori has been so helpful this summer! She’s been coming 3 times a week to walk Clash during the day! She’s always on time and easy to get a hold of! I can’t recommend her enough!!”

About: I’ve spent 7+ years caring for pets of all kinds, taking the time to learn each one’s routine, quirks, and comfort level so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to help with puppies, seniors, and pets who need a little extra care. I work a full-time job from 10–5 on weekdays, so I schedule pet care around my work hours. I’m available early mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, playtime, or visits. When I’m with pets, I give them my full attention and make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well-cared-for, even with my regular work schedule. I provide attentive, patient care whether I’m at your home or mine. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding, playtime, walks, litter box care, and any special instructions—to keep them comfortable and stress-free. If pets are in my home, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family, giving plenty of attention, cuddles, and play. I always prioritize their happiness, health, and comfort.

About: Hello! I’ve been dog sitting for over a couple years for friends and family and I can’t wait to do more for the community. I love all animals and treat them like family. I’m excited to meet more furry friends! I’m currently a medical student at UAMS. I usually just stay at home and study. I’ll have plenty of time to go on walks, dog parks, and much more! I have a back yard and a smoke free home to keep your furry friend company whenever needs be. I can adapt to your needs as long as we communicate and work through it!

About: Hi! I’m Katie, a medical student who recently moved to Kansas City. Between classes and studying, spending time with animals is one of my favorite ways to unwind and recharge. I’ve been a lifelong pet lover with years of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. I’ve had cats in my home since I was born, so I’m comfortable with everything from cuddles and playtime to litter box maintenance and administering basic care. For the past few years, I’ve also cared for a friend’s dog while he’s away for work as a pilot. Through that experience, I’ve gained consistent experience with daily walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure pets feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family members. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, attentive, and compassionate. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking buddy, a cozy companion, or simply someone to keep their routine consistent, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pets! Pet care is already part of my daily life with my own cats, and I regularly care for a friend’s dog. Feeding, walks, and playtime fit easily into my routine. I am a medical student who spends most of my time studying at home or at your home watching your pets! In my home or a client’s, I keep pets on their normal routine with consistent feeding, fresh water, playtime, and plenty of love. I make sure dogs get the walks and exercise they need, and cats get attention and comfort while staying in their safe space. My goal is to make them feel at home and cared for.
About: I grew up in a cat and dog household. My parents over the years have had four dogs. Ranging from pit mixes to labs. I often times pet sit for my friends whenever they go out of town. I have three of my own cats. My oldest cat is a senior at 16 years, my second is five years old, and my youngest is a seventh month old kitten. My cats have their own dietary restrictions so I understand the importance of respecting a strict pet diet. I often times pet sit for family and friends. Including overnights with their dogs. I live in the river market area and typically take my friends dogs out for walks at the riverfront. I am able to do overnights. I am unable to house any pets in my apartment. However, I can spend as much time with your fur babies in your home! I have my phone on me at all times for open communication and plenty of photos of your pup or kitty!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16 years old, and we always had a dog or two in the house when I was growing up. This taught me responsibility and love for all dogs! I’ve taken care of many puppies, trained my own dogs from birth, and more. I tend to gravitate towards dogs and dogs tend to gravitate towards me. In my care, your dog will receive endless amounts of love and playtime between myself and my dogs, responsible care, a yard and frequent potty/food breaks, and a stress free experience for both you and your dog! I’m currently working full-time, but I am able to come home on lunch breaks Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to interact with the dogs. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays, off Saturdays and Sundays. My schedule is pretty flexible so you can bet your dog will be taken care of! I have a fenced in back and front yard, and two sweet, trained, cuddly labs for your fur friend to play with (they love playing)! If I need to be away at any time, I can easily crate your dog next to my crate trained dogs. My dogs also enjoy the off leash dog parks, so if you are comfortable with it, I would take your dog to them for extra playtime! I feed my dogs twice a day, but can adjust to your dogs feeding schedule. I take my dogs out to potty about every 4 hours, but again, can adjust to your dogs potty needs. If in your home, your rules will be followed and I will only accept as long as I’m able to meet ALL of your needs. My goal is to provide a stress free home/experience for any fur friends needed!

Wow! Derek is great. My boys, an exuberant Cardigan Welsh Corgi and a reserved Aussie foster, both enjoyed their walks with him. I can recommend Derek without reservation. He is very professional and easy to work with. Most importantly, he has a great way with dogs. You can trust Derek with your cherished companion.

Kushi was absolutely amazing! She was able to accommodate me and my dog last minute this weekend due to a medical procedure, and I truly don’t know what I would have done without her. She was incredibly attentive to all the details, right on time, and super responsive with communication from start to finish. She really showed up for us when we needed her most, and that kind of reliability and care means everything. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. I can’t recommend Kushi enough!

After Melissa watch Nelson earlier this summer, I knew it would be a great fit for her to come by on a day where we were gonna be out of the house for over 12 hours. It’s such a relief to know that Nelson is happy with Melissa and that she wouldn’t be alone for the whole time! P.S she always takes the best pictures!!
