I work from home full time, so pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. My dogs already keep me active with walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day, so adding another furry friend to the mix feels pretty seamless. I’m home most of the day and have a flexible schedule during both weekdays and weekends.

Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first with me. I live in a pet friendly apartment downtown with plenty of walking areas nearby, and my two dogs are both very social and friendly with other dogs. I’m also comfortable crating your dog if preferred or following any routines, feeding schedules, or care instructions you already have in place to help them feel at home.

I’d love to know your dog’s personality, routine, energy level, and if they have any special needs or behaviors I should be aware of ahead of time. Feeding schedules, medications, crate preferences, or how they typically interact with other dogs are all really helpful so I can make them feel as comfortable and at home as possible.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of walks, playtime, attention, and relaxing time throughout the day. Since I work from home, your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will get lots of interaction and care. We’ll probably explore the neighborhood, get some fresh air, and of course stop for plenty of sniff breaks along the way.

Hey! I’m Brendan. I’m new to Rover, but I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I currently live in downtown Kansas City with my two best friends, Malakai, an 8 year old Siberian Husky, and O’Malley, a 3 year old Frenchie, so I’m very comfortable with both high energy dogs and smaller companion breeds. I work from home full time, which gives me a flexible schedule for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog, and I’ll always make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
