Kushi was absolutely amazing! She was able to accommodate me and my dog last minute this weekend due to a medical procedure, and I truly don’t know what I would have done without her. She was incredibly attentive to all the details, right on time, and super responsive with communication from start to finish. She really showed up for us when we needed her most, and that kind of reliability and care means everything. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. I can’t recommend Kushi enough!
Kushi was amazing! She was able to accommodate Buddy’s one-hour walk within a tight three-hour timeframe, which I really appreciated. She was very communicative, reliable, and easy to tal to throughout the entire process. You can truly tell she enjoys what she does. As this was our first time meeting her and having her take Buddy out, I felt completely confident and at ease. Buddy had a great time, and that means everything to me
Kushi was amazing. She immediately established rapport with our dog and he really enjoyed his walks.
Kushi is an outstanding and loving caretaker of many dogs including my Jimmy, an adult German Shepard. She is very patient and understands dogs very well and even won Jimmy over on their first encounter which is very rare. Also she is playful and observant with Jimmy and I guess thats one of the reasons he listens to her with ease. I initially found it very hard to trust a stranger with a dog I care for like a child but after the first interaction and how nicely she handled any situation with Jimmy, I can now confidently say that I trust Kushi in all situation with Jimmy. I recommend that other dog owners/caretakers, please give Kushi a chance, she is newer on Rover but has years of experience with her own and other dogs.

I am currently home for the summer, which gives me plenty of time to look after your pet during the odd hours of the week and definitely on the weekends!

I will provide the same level of care and attention to your pet that they are used to receiving from you, their owner. Some things that I will prioritize include following your instructions for feeding, medication administration, and daily routines, closely observing your pet's behavior to monitor their health, making sure to give your pet lots of exercise and stimulation through walks and playtime, and providing your pet with companionship and affection to make sure they feel loved and secure while you are away. You can be sure to always be kept in the loop as I will regularly inform you of your pet's condition and activities, through text, photos or video calls :)

A typical day
When dog-sitting or dog-walking, I will make sure to provide the dog with plenty of exercise and stimulation through fun activities. Here are some ideas for activities I can do with them: 1. Walks: Going for walks is a great way to provide the dog with exercise and fresh air. I can take them to different routes, parks, and nature trails. 2. Playtime: Playing games with the dog, such as fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek, can provide mental stimulation and help to build a bond with the dog. 3. Training: Training the dog in basic commands, such as sit, stay, come, or lay down, can provide mental stimulation and help to reinforce good behavior. 4. Socialization: Introducing the dog to new people, animals, and environments can help to socialize them and improve their overall behavior. 5. Swimming: If the dog likes swimming or if the weather is hot, I can take them to a nearby pond, lake or beach to cool off and play. 6. Doggy massage: I can provide the dog with a relaxing massage to help them relax and feel comfortable. It's important to note that the activities will depend on your dog's age, breed, energy level, and overall health. I will always make sure that the activities are safe and appropriate for the dog. Also, I will keep the owner's preferences in mind.
