I am currently substitute teaching while I am working on studying for my CPA license while also doing Rover sitting. I can adjust my schedule by day so if your pet needs less than 8 hours away that can be accommodated. My weekends are a bit more busy, but I can fit in anything in the mornings or evenings or whatever is necessary.

Time management is a skill of mine so any medications or feeding schedules will also be taken care of. I love to know the typical feeding schedule so that the pets are not feeling too much of a change at once. Also of course any medications they may need, or special requests for the home.
A typical day
My play definitely depends on the pet, but I do love tug of war with my bigger dogs. Smaller pets may do good with just walks or just playing with a toy, but I like to make sure it is tailored for what the animal needs.

Pet care experience
Growing up I have always had at least two dogs in the house. In high school I got a cat, and in college I got fish. I love all animals and since moving back home to Kansas City I have had the pleasure of meeting more animals than I ever have. I have done casual dog and house sitting in the past 6 years and have had nothing but positive experiences. I am a very attentive sitter who will make you and your animals feel comfortable with my care.

It was such a relief knowing Samantha was at our home caring for our dogs while we were away. She shared photos of the dogs that showed how happy they were, and she seemed to truly enjoy spending tune with them! When unexpected heavy rains hit, she made sure that ask us where towels were to clean off paws. She even mopped the house prior to leaving, going above and beyond our expectations! We definitely recommend Samantha for in-home care of your pets. We hope to book with her again in the future!

Samantha came to my rescue after my original house sitter had a family emergency. She took wonderful care of my dog Eddy and my cat Lily. Both pets were relaxed and content when I returned home. I would definitely have Samantha sit with my pets again!
