About: As a young child I begged my parents to get a dog. I took the “D” encyclopedia into my room every night to study dog breeds. I spent years consuming every dog book I could get my hands on. I even created a dog walking business, made fliers, and handed them out to all of my neighbors. I finally got a puppy in 1st grade. She was my best friend. About: I've been taking care of my own pets (4 cats and 1 dog) for years and used to work as a Rainbow Valley vet clinic walker and boarder! I am currently living in Kansas City and my beloved kitty Nala who joined me up here passed in October. So I currently do not have any pets at home and would love some company boarding animals! About: I've been training and taking care of dogs for 33 years. I had a couple childhood pets then when I was 18 I adopted and trained a dog that stayed with my family for 15 years. I also had a Labrador who made it to 13 and my current old man puppy is 13. I've been with my husband for 20 years. We LOVE dogs of all ages and sizes. I'm a stay at home mom to my geriatric dog. We get up around 6am, go outside for a bit, come in and get breakfast, then lounge while I clean. Lunchtime we go out again, have healthy snacks like carrots, then play in the fenced in yard or the living room depending on weather and temperature. Late afternoon and evening we wind down and get ready for dinner. I have a fenced in yard, a friendly old dog, tiled floors, comfortable furniture that they're allowed on, and air vents that come from the floors (dogs love to lay on them). There is security on my home and absolutely nobody but delivery people come here during the day.

About: I’ve been the resident cat and dog sitter since I was a teen in my family and friend group. I have worked with dogs big and small, and cats of many temperaments. I have been an overnight sitter for both animals, and have experience walking, playing, following routines, and making the pets feel comfortable and loved. I have followed medication routines and given medications for both cats and dogs as well when needed, and am comfortable doing so. I am currently working part time while going to grad school, so I am back and forth from the house and able to check on any pets throughout the day. My home has plenty of space for another cat to hang out. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 10, and have loved it ever since! I frequent KC Pet Project because I’m not able to have a pet of my own yet, so being able to walk and care of your pet makes my day! I do not have any specific training skills, but have a lot of availability in order to help you out! I’m am a full time student and also serving at Brooksider, but taking care of pets in my free time helps me stay motivated! I don’t have many in person classes so I can be available at random spots during the day! I have fostered before, and I love giving my animals as much attention as I can. Especially if I am caring for someone else’s pet, that animal will be my first priority.
About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I have full time evening employment. I am available to care for pets Sunday-Thursday 9am to 2pm (meaning my latest available visit would start at 1:30pm for an 30 min visit), and All day Fridays and Saturdays! About: My name is Mikayla - I am a behaviorist by trade (for people, not pets) and I've been a pet lover forever! I have a 9 year old Staffy/Akita/Aussie mix and a 15 year old cat at home. About: I’ve had cats my whole life and an Australian shepherd since I was 14, I raised and trained him, and have also pet-sat for friends and family on multiple occasions. I promise any pet can be trusted with me. I fit in pet care around my part time job that mostly consists of morning shifts, though I can work around that and move shifts if needed for the right furry friend. About: We have been boarding and training since 2013. Starting off at a large kennel, then moving to our own business in-home in 2020. Licensed (city and state kennel licence) and inspected by Department of Agricultural, our vet and Kansas City Animal control. Kevin and Heidi full time dog care and training. Potty breaks every 2-3 hours. We provide socialization with yard time and play with breaks from weather as necessary. All yard times and out times are fully supervised by a behavior specialist. Baths are options as we have an industrial dog bath. Fully fenced yard with double gates. As well as double gates inside the home leading to outside. Separate seven hundred square foot kennel area located in-home. Epoxy floors, painted bright walls, air purification and music during noisy holidays and storms. 24 hour audio/visual monitored by trainers.
