I do have a dog and 2 cats of my own that don't get along so I have to switch out their living room social time and will ensure your animals has some social time as well. I am able to care for 3 more dogs at a time. I have a large basement with an unfinished room that I put a baby gate up for the door and I have 2 kennels. If I have 3 dogs at once I will rotate the dogs out to make sure that one does not have to stay in a kennel too long. I will ensure your doggy always has food and water available and frequent bathroom breaks with plenty of love and social time. I have a semi big yard with a 20 foot tie down lead to ensure your dog has enough room to run around but won't get away. I also have a small plastic kiddie pool I fill up for the doggies to get in and enjoy!

I was a little nervous dropping off our 8 month old Siberian Husky because it was our first time sending him off for boarding while we went away on vacation. Heck, it was our first time separated from him for any amount of time lol. Kristina had excellent communication from the first time I reached out and really put my mind at ease while we chatted as I dropped off our pup. She sent daily updates, either texts or pics, or both, and was quick to respond anytime I reached out. Our pup loved it there and even be-friended her German Shepherd. I can tell he misses his new buddy too by his body language after picking him up lol. He's happy to be home, but definitely bummed to part ways with his new BFF. Will absolutely make plans for Odin to stay with Kristina anytime we need boarding in the future.”

About: I have been a foster mom and adopter for 18 years. I fostered 50 dogs through a local rescue group. We have had 7 dogs, all but 1 are/ were snow dogs. I'm a part-time small animal physical therapist at ARC where we teach agility and obedience, help rehabilitate cats and dogs with injuries and provide quality of life rehab for seniors or the terminally ill. We took our last babies before they passed to ARC for quality of life, they had degenerative myelopathy and kidney disease, respectively. I fell in love with the place and became a PT. I have a soft spot for senior dogs, they deserve all the spoiling to make their golden years filled with love, comfort and adventure. To me dogs are equal to people and should be treated even better. I have a fenced in back yard and a home made for dogs. We have a four seasons room with a dog door to use. I split the house up according to where your dog is most comfortable while I'm out. We never miss our morning walk. In the summer we take dogs swimming at my in-law's pool 20 minutes in Blue Springs. We also have kiddie pools and a sandbox to discover toys. They can sleep in the bedroom, family room or patio room. If they are kennel training then in their kennel of course, which is in the very comfortable dog room. I am able to administer all types of medication, whether it be oral, injectable, or IV fluids. I am able to do dog CPR, we are also 5 minutes from our vet as well. My experience administering medication I am trained in dispensing all types of medicine; whether it be oral or injectable. I'm also able to do IV fluids and CPR. Your dog(s) will be a part of my family while you are away. They will go about their day doing what they normally do at home. They will be free to play and not be cooped up like at a daycare or vet facility. We have a million toys to play with and a nice neighborhood to walk in and lots of places to nap. We currently have two dogs, they both came from difficult situations, but they love to play with other dogs, it's people that can be intimidating. They prefer people that bring dogs in the house. We do slow introductions. We start with a walking meet and greet around the neighborhood and then we come in the backyard with your dog off-leash to smell and then they can all meet slowly. If all the dogs like each other then I do like a day visit if you will be gone more than a few days, so that your dog is comfy here. If you will be gone more than 2 weeks I recommend a night stay beforehand. I work part-time from home in my spa and part time at ARC on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. We walk every morning and most days I head to the gym after. Perfect time for the dogs to decompress in their own areas and nap. I have a nice fenced in yard with locks on the gates. All dogs are separated by gates and have their own comfortable spaces with multiple rooms. All dogs are fed separately for safety.

About: I have had dogs in my family since I was a child and have years of experience with various breeds. I work from home most days and happy to get active with the doggos. I have a loving a cuddly home and treat all my fur guests as family. As someone with a senior dog, I am very patient and know how to accommate the additional needs some pets may have. With my flexible work from home schedule, I am able to be home during the week, to take your dog out for walks, potty breaks, cuddle, and to play. I am also available on weekends. With the exclusion of running errands, while your dog is with me, they will never be left alone for more than a few hours extended amount of time. I have a fenced in back yard for your dog to run free in. I also have a senior chihuahua who is very chill and unbothered, so as long as your dog likes other dogs, they will get along just fine. I do let dogs sit on the couch and get on the bed, however, I will respect that boundary if you do not allow that for your pets. I know all families have different schedules for potty and feeding times, and my schedule is flexible so I can keep your dog on track even while you are gone.

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats since I was 12 years old. One of my hobbies is German Shepard rescue. I have experience in training puppies and working with senior dogs. I work from home; however, I have a flexible schedule. I am available throughout the lunch period for rest breaks, and walking. I have availability Monday -Sunday. About: I've been training and taking care of dogs for 33 years. I had a couple childhood pets then when I was 18 I adopted and trained a dog that stayed with my family for 15 years. I also had a Labrador who made it to 13 and my current old man puppy is 13. I've been with my husband for 20 years. We LOVE dogs of all ages and sizes. I'm a stay at home mom to my geriatric dog. We get up around 6am, go outside for a bit, come in and get breakfast, then lounge while I clean. Lunchtime we go out again, have healthy snacks like carrots, then play in the fenced in yard or the living room depending on weather and temperature. Late afternoon and evening we wind down and get ready for dinner. I have a fenced in yard, a friendly old dog, tiled floors, comfortable furniture that they're allowed on, and air vents that come from the floors (dogs love to lay on them). There is security on my home and absolutely nobody but delivery people come here during the day.
About: I’ve had so many animals in the 20 years I’ve been alive. From turtles to birds to big and small dogs, I’ve had lots of experience. I’ve always been known for my skills working with animals. I’ve got a small dog and a big dog so I live the best of both worlds lol. I feed them both and send them out to go potty first thing in the morning and take them out anytime they ring their potty bell on the door. The dogs are also both fixed and up to date on their shots and medication. I like to give new dogs a little space at first to explore and smell around just to make them feel comfortable. I like to take them out as many times as I’m able and feed them if and when their owner requests. About: I've worked in the field of caring for others for a long time..babies, children and/ or adults with special needs, elderly, dogs, cats, you name it! I have fostered several dogs and even a cat! I have had cats in the past. I have owned and helped care for friends and families’ dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, guinea pigs, etc. I'll be devoted to providing the best care and fun for your fur-babies as I can! I'm reliable and responsible and I love animals. I have 2 dogs and I have consistently been a hand in helping friends and family with their animals in a pinch because I love spending time with animals. I have a big heart and I love to have fun and play sessions with almost all animals. I'm very attentive of dogs' needs and care for their happiness a great deal. I love give them hugs and kisses (if they allow it)..I promise to follow all instructions as best as I can and give the best care to every animal I meet! My full time schedule is 9am to 6pm. I do house sitting, which means I will stay with your pets at night. I also do drop in visits and dog walking so my schedule books up quick, but that’s the way I like it! I also have 2 dogs that I make sure to see every day as well, and my Great Dane goes to training classes for obedience (now) and later will go for therapy. I don’t live alone so they have someone else to help me care for them so that I can Rover as much as possible :) I am flexible when caring for dogs in your home and can meet you where you’re at. I 100% know that every dog is different just like every person is different. I celebrate difference and strive to help where I can. I work with integrity and, of course, respect.
About: I am blessed with a sweet boy of my own and have had dogs in the house growing up. I have always had a natural touch with animals. For instance, my neighbor has a Saint Bernard who is not sure of humans in general but especially human males, however this dog becomes a giant puppy when I come around. I am a full time student doing school online so pet care can be done anytime in the mornings and afternoons and on any day except for Sundays. I have a fenced in yard at home, though I keep a watchful eye on my dog when he is outside. While inside, I keep anything that might catch his eye out of reach, and make sure he is always properly entertained. This happens to be easy for my dog since he loves antlers to chew on.
About: Hi, my name is Autumn and i have worked with dogs and other animals for over 15 years. My experience comes from working in animal hospitals, pet stores, daycare, boarding, and rescue facilities. I've also been a dog walker for about 3 years. I worked for a dog walking company for 2 years and then started my own pet care/dog walking business called Road Dogs Pet Care and Transportation. I am a single mother of two daughters (5 & 11) and dog mom of 3 older (13,13, &15), very sweet dogs. They are all very social and well behaved. I have a large fenced in yard. I also have experience doing nail trims and offer in-home nail trims. i also have experience bathing and administering medications. Profile update: Hi, a lot has changed since I first joined Rover. I no longer have my three elderly babies as they have all passed away due to old age. We now have two new additions to our family, Six and Pepper. Six is my 2 year old Border Collie/Heeler mix. She's very spunky, sweet, and playful! Pepper is our 2 1/2 yr old 7 lb. poodle. She is basically my daughters little sidekick and spends almost all of her time with her. She sometimes thinks she's a Doberman, but she's harmless and warms up quick. Once she warms up she's ready to run with the big dogs! They're both great girls and are used to new friends and visitors often. 😊 I'm home full-time and take care of my two kids, two dogs, and our aquatic turtle. Aside from running occasional errands or appointments, I'm able to give your dog or dogs all the love, attention, and playtime that they need. I'm also available for daily dog walks if needed. I have a large fully fenced yard for them to run and play in. They are all inside and outside frequently throughout the day as needed or as they please. I'm happy to cater to any individual needs. 2/23/25 Update: Hi, so its now been about 23 years of working with all these amazing beautiful babes! Im still available for boarding, home drop-ins, and daily walks or potty breaks if you don’t have time or need any extra help. We have a new family member now. Marley is our newest baby girl. She is a two year old Dalmatian and she is super sweet and full of playful sweet energy! She gets along with everybody. :) So our household currently consists of Me, my partner, my two daughters (10 & 16), Six, Pepper, Marley, and Mr.B (Turtle). Also just to clarify, my name is Amber Autumn Hays. I went by Autumn when I first started my Rover Act. About: I've been fostering and taking care of others' dogs as long as I can remember. I have a huge home with a lot of open area to run and play. It has a fenced back yard. The fur babies sleep in my bed and yours will be welcome as well or they can sleep in other rooms. I work during the day but I get home around 530 pm. In the evenings, I'm home with the dogs. If its nice weather, we can go to the off leash parks and run around or go on the trails. I've owned, babysat, nursed back to health beagles, dachshunds, mastiffs, pit bulls, dalmatians, cocker spaniels, border collies, mixx breeds...they are all special to me. I don't give injected meds because I am TERRIFIED of needles! I am willing to travel to the dog's home if they are more comfortable there then outside of their own home. I will have to go home and check on my own dogs but I'll spend as much time as possible. I'll also bring treats from Treats Unleashed. I work 85% at home during the week but I can stop by for morning visits and evening visits. on the weekends I can be there as much or as little as possible At my house I have a husky who's pretty big and when he 1st meets a dog he barks a lot but then they become friends. At your house If you have a skittish dog or cat I know how to be present without being in their face or in their space. And if you have a loving dog I love to cuddle too. If you're going on a trip I don't mind getting your mail or packages and putting them in the house or whatever else you need done I am 85% working from home so I would be available more often. On the days that I am at the office, it will be about 4-6 hours between checkins during the day I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own. They have so much room to run and play inside and outside. We have great treats and toys. They will have a lot of fun.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was just 7 years old. My passion is caring for others. I know how to work with dogs with emotional and behavioral issues. I know how to handle dogs even big dogs that pull on the leash. I can help keep training consistent. I run a home daycare and help care for my mom and homeschool my autistic son with time, room and love to give your doggies. I do have a dog and 2 cats of my own that don't get along so I have to switch out their living room social time and will ensure your animals has some social time as well. I am able to care for 3 more dogs at a time. I have a large basement with an unfinished room that I put a baby gate up for the door and I have 2 kennels. If I have 3 dogs at once I will rotate the dogs out to make sure that one does not have to stay in a kennel too long. I will ensure your doggy always has food and water available and frequent bathroom breaks with plenty of love and social time. I have a semi big yard with a 20 foot tie down lead to ensure your dog has enough room to run around but won't get away. I also have a small plastic kiddie pool I fill up for the doggies to get in and enjoy!

I was a little nervous dropping off our 8 month old Siberian Husky because it was our first time sending him off for boarding while we went away on vacation. Heck, it was our first time separated from him for any amount of time lol. Kristina had excellent communication from the first time I reached out and really put my mind at ease while we chatted as I dropped off our pup. She sent daily updates, either texts or pics, or both, and was quick to respond anytime I reached out. Our pup loved it there and even be-friended her German Shepherd. I can tell he misses his new buddy too by his body language after picking him up lol. He's happy to be home, but definitely bummed to part ways with his new BFF. Will absolutely make plans for Odin to stay with Kristina anytime we need boarding in the future.”
