About: I have a pet of my own, specifically a cat. I have taken care of many of my families dogs and cats when needed. I play soccer at UMKC and am able to keep up with high energy dogs. I am currently going to school at UMKC and will have lots of time in my morning and throughout the day to come by and check on your loved ones! I am not in season at the moment, so I will be available on weekends. I will be respectful to your home by taking my shoes off and being calm and quiet when entering the home. I will lightly call for your pet while cracking the door open to let them know I am not a threat.
2. Kat B.
“Kat was absolutely amazing. I originally asked for 1 walk but then I realized I wouldn’t be getting back to my babies for another day. When I let Kay know she was eager to help and walk my babies again the next morning. She even fed them! When I got back they were happy to see me but I know they enjoyed Kat! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You are a life saver!!!”

8. Alexis S.
“Our beloved Cocker Spaniel, Reggie, passed away one year ago at age 17. Eight, possibly nine, of those years Alexis was the only person other than my wife and I to care for Reggie when we were going to be gone for more than a few hours. Alexis, Lexi to us, would often stay at our house while we were out of town. She had a special bond with Reggie; he loved her,he told me so. He even threatened to leave if we stopped letting Lexi stay with him. Lexi always took excellent care of Reggie. She gave him his medicine, fed him, walked him on the leash at least twice every day while we were gone. We never had to worry about him when he was in her care. We are still very close to Lexi and she visits us often. We think of her as one of our granddaughters and she seems to have taken on the responsibility of caring for us. We hope she continues.”

About: I work at the Independence animal Shelter and volunteer at a senior dog facility because I can’t get enough of the old geezers! I foster senior dogs that come in through the shelter because I believe all dogs deserve to know love, care, and comfort up until there last days so I’m very comfortable handling older dogs! I enjoy my job and love my lifestyle, so I hope I can help incorporate that into your life! I work 4 days a week so it gives me 3 days where I’m free to help out, and I am open to odd hour requests! I don’t mind if I have to work after my work as long as you get the help that you need. I request that either specific care instructions are written or kept in text where it can be easily accessible just because I’m human! I forget sometimes! But I like to be thorough and give myself a checklist so anything that helps me feel organized will help me care for your animals the way they deserve. :)
