About: I have been a foster mom and adopter for 18 years. I fostered 50 dogs through a local rescue group. We have had 7 dogs, all but 1 are/ were snow dogs. I'm a part-time small animal physical therapist at ARC where we teach agility and obedience, help rehabilitate cats and dogs with injuries and provide quality of life rehab for seniors or the terminally ill. We took our last babies before they passed to ARC for quality of life, they had degenerative myelopathy and kidney disease, respectively. I fell in love with the place and became a PT. I have a soft spot for senior dogs, they deserve all the spoiling to make their golden years filled with love, comfort and adventure. To me dogs are equal to people and should be treated even better. I have a fenced in back yard and a home made for dogs. We have a four seasons room with a dog door to use. I split the house up according to where your dog is most comfortable while I'm out. We never miss our morning walk. In the summer we take dogs swimming at my in-law's pool 20 minutes in Blue Springs. We also have kiddie pools and a sandbox to discover toys. They can sleep in the bedroom, family room or patio room. If they are kennel training then in their kennel of course, which is in the very comfortable dog room. I am able to administer all types of medication, whether it be oral, injectable, or IV fluids. I am able to do dog CPR, we are also 5 minutes from our vet as well. My home is the ideal vacation spot for your furry friend. About this sitter: I'm a licensed Esthetician and have an in-home spa. I work at ARC part-time, just three afternoons a week. Clearly, I'm a huge dog lover. We previously fostered around 50 dogs for Furry Kids' Refuge. It is my life's work to stop puppy mills. I'm a very active person and enjoy outdoor activities. Why I love dog sitting Ever since, I was a child I grew up loving dogs and wanting to stop puppy mills. I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some kind of capacity. I worked on Proposition B with the Humane Society of America. I want to help people feel confident leaving their pets when away from home. About my yard I have a 1/3 acre yard fenced all the way around. We have lots of trees and outdoor dog beds to hang out on under the hammocks. We have lots of squirrels to watch and all of our neighbors have dogs. We have a small wrap around deck that connects to our 4 seasons patio room with a dog door. My experience administering medication I am trained in dispensing all types of medicine; whether it be oral or injectable. I'm also able to do IV fluids and CPR. Your dog(s) will be a part of my family while you are away. They will go about their day doing what they normally do at home. They will be free to play and not be cooped up like at a daycare or vet facility. We have a million toys to play with and a nice neighborhood to walk in and lots of places to nap. We currently have two dogs, they both came from difficult situations, but they love to play with other dogs, it's people that can be intimidating. They prefer people that bring dogs in the house. We do slow introductions. We start with a walking meet and greet around the neighborhood and then we come in the backyard with your dog off-leash to smell and then they can all meet slowly. If all the dogs like each other then I do like a day visit if you will be gone more than a few days, so that your dog is comfy here. If you will be gone more than 2 weeks I recommend a night stay beforehand. I work part-time from home in my spa and part time at ARC on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. We walk every morning and most days I head to the gym after. Perfect time for the dogs to decompress in their own areas and nap. I have a nice fenced in yard with locks on the gates. All dogs are separated by gates and have their own comfortable spaces with multiple rooms. All dogs are fed separately for safety.

I do house sitting, which means I will stay with your pets at night. I also do drop in visits and dog walking so my schedule books up quick, but that’s the way I like it! I also have 2 dogs that I make sure to see every day as well, and my Great Dane goes to training classes for obedience (now) and later will go for therapy. About: Hi, my name is Autumn and i have worked with dogs and other animals for over 15 years. My experience comes from working in animal hospitals, pet stores, daycare, boarding, and rescue facilities. I've also been a dog walker for about 3 years. I worked for a dog walking company for 2 years and then started my own pet care/dog walking business called Road Dogs Pet Care and Transportation. I am a single mother of two daughters (5 & 11) and dog mom of 3 older (13,13, &15), very sweet dogs. They are all very social and well behaved. I have a large fenced in yard. I also have experience doing nail trims and offer in-home nail trims. i also have experience bathing and administering medications. I take care, safety, and love very seriously and will always do my best to make sure your babe feels as comfortable and happy as possible! Profile update: Hi, a lot has changed since I first joined Rover. I no longer have my three elderly babies as they have all passed away due to old age. We now have two new additions to our family, Six and Pepper. Six is my 2 year old Border Collie/Heeler mix. She's very spunky, sweet, and playful! Pepper is our 2 1/2 yr old 7 lb. poodle. She is basically my daughters little sidekick and spends almost all of her time with her. She sometimes thinks she's a Doberman, but she's harmless and warms up quick. Once she warms up she's ready to run with the big dogs! They're both great girls and are used to new friends and visitors often. 😊 I'm home full-time and take care of my two kids, two dogs, and our aquatic turtle. Aside from running occasional errands or appointments, I'm able to give your dog or dogs all the love, attention, and playtime that they need. I'm also available for daily dog walks if needed. I have a large fully fenced yard for them to run and play in. They are all inside and outside frequently throughout the day as needed or as they please. About: I have had dogs my whole life. I currently have 2 dogs who love attention. Life gets busy- I’m excited to walk and play with your pup when you need help! I’m a full time nurse. I work 3 12 hour days a week, so I have plenty of time on my 4 days off to walk and help care for furry friends! I’d be happy to meet with you prior to selected services to ensure you and your pet feel comfortable with me. I’ll make sure leashes and harnesses are secure prior to walks. I’ll make sure your loved one has water and time to rest prior to departure. Any specific instructions are encouraged.

About: I've been fostering and taking care of others' dogs as long as I can remember. I have a huge home with a lot of open area to run and play. It has a fenced back yard. The fur babies sleep in my bed and yours will be welcome as well or they can sleep in other rooms. I work during the day but I get home around 530 pm. In the evenings, I'm home with the dogs. If its nice weather, we can go to the off leash parks and run around or go on the trails. I've owned, babysat, nursed back to health beagles, dachshunds, mastiffs, pit bulls, dalmatians, cocker spaniels, border collies, mixx breeds...they are all special to me. I don't give injected meds because I am TERRIFIED of needles! I am willing to travel to the dog's home if they are more comfortable there then outside of their own home. I will have to go home and check on my own dogs but I'll spend as much time as possible. I'll also bring treats from Treats Unleashed. I work 85% at home during the week but I can stop by for morning visits and evening visits. on the weekends I can be there as much or as little as possible At my house I have a husky who's pretty big and when he 1st meets a dog he barks a lot but then they become friends. At your house If you have a skittish dog or cat I know how to be present without being in their face or in their space. And if you have a loving dog I love to cuddle too. If you're going on a trip I don't mind getting your mail or packages and putting them in the house or whatever else you need done I am 85% working from home so I would be available more often. On the days that I am at the office, it will be about 4-6 hours between checkins during the day I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own. They have so much room to run and play inside and outside. We have great treats and toys. They will have a lot of fun.

About: I do believe my gift is natural. From reptiles to dogs to ferrets, I believe all pets deserve love and patience. I’ve loved on all walks of life and species. I currently work from home. 7:30-3:30 is my schedule, however we will still have potty breaks every two hours. My pups go on at least two 30 minute walks. I do have a fenced yard, with multiple tethers just in case your dog is a escape artist. I have a dog room, where dogs sleep at night time, in case they are high on nerves. We will offer mental stimulation as well as some continuous learning of basic manners.
